So, Pine Valley in Pennsylvania, North East USA, home of the most beachfront property of any soap, and home to Kendall and Zach's western-facing ocean-front abode, is getting hit with a TORNADO in OCTOBER! The only thing missing are the swaying palm trees!
Did I get all that right?? Or is it just me?

Joe...LOL I will say that the these two episodes are the first I've watched in quite a while, and more than likely, I will touch Mondays show as well. I wanted to see the special effects more than anything. It was interesting, but not mesmerizing.Just how much, exactly, can they at AMC put poor little Kendall's body through? She is just a waif! At some point, she is going to need some therapy for that black cloud hanging over her head!!
I live in the heart of tornado alley. The special effects were pretty good, and the aftermath was pretty much right on... all that said, they sure must have freekish weather in Pine Valley. The multiple tornado thing, and especially the tornadoes re-occuring in the same place that quickly...not so real. But hey, this is soapland and they have tornadoes, hurricanes and earthquakes in the most unusual places. Just suspend the reality and enjoy the drama.

I blame the Pennsylvania Ocean -- it plays havoc with natural weather patterns.
Guys tornado season as well as hurricane season run thru Nov1st---or the atmosphreric conditions are right. This is afterall the place where Erica was able to shoo off a bear by telling it SHE was Erica Kane and to go away. Anything is possible in Pine Valley LOL
I tuned into AMC today and saw Erica talking to Bianca. Was Erica not in the tornado? How come she doesn't have a scratch on her? Everyone else does but she came out looking perfect, I don't get it. I know she was in the tunnel with Adam but still thought things fell on her. Am I imagining things.
Must be something in Susan Lucci's contract
Quote:Must be something in Susan Lucci's contract You think, it must be. I was shocked she looked perfect as usual(which isn't a bad thing). Everyone els has a bruise or something. Weird.

See, I just assumed that as a cosmetics magnate, La Kane has makeup and hair assistants with her at all times, and they took care of her!

It's uh... It's not just you. I was like, "Wait. What?" I'm a little suprised that of all the natural disasters to give them they went with a tornado.
