They reminded me of a couple of school girls. The way they usually act I didn't think they were still that close but I guess this little glimpse shows how they really feel.
I think Carly would probably be breathing in a bag too.
I didn't buy the cutesy girls bonding thing between Kate & Olivia. It looked contrived & didn't go with Kate's personality. I got the impression she was either sucking up because she wanted something from her or because she wanted to have something to use against Liv in the future. But, I never see any type of normal behavior from Kate & it could be clouding my judgement. Just because the only time they're together on screen is when they're fighting doesn't mean that they aren't close & joking with each other at other times.Side note: All this talk about diversity (another thread) has me thinking about something else. As an American of Italian descent, I am often discouraged at the way Italians are portrayed on screen & I do give GH credit for showing an Italian American family that is not mixed up in the mob (of course, that will probably change once Dante appears). But, it is a nice contrast to the usual fare. They are usually portrayed as gangsters or uberreligious puritans. Now, if only they could catch up with the real world & include everyone without stereotypes.
What they need is an Italian mother on the show. I don't know this aunt Gert but maybe she should move to Port Chuck
It might even get Sonny to behave. She made a pretty lasting impression on those two women! It certainly wouldn't hurt to bring one or two more of them to town.
That would be great, seeing Kate yes maam, no maam and all respectful, she'd probably try to climb up on her high horse a time or 2 only to be knocked off on her [censored]. I'd love to watch that.As far as diversity, I know exactly what you mean, I married into an Italian family and evert time people hear our last name they think mob, its such crap.
Maxie is in a position to lend Johnny a save
One of Liz's kids dies? Ugh! Just what this show does not need is another dead child. I seriously hope that one's wrong!
No kidding. If Carly or Claudia is going to wind up childless after their confrontation, the last thing we need is another child death......Not looking good for the summer if that is true.........
Summer Fun on GH: Let's kill unborn babies & small children. Oh! And let a lunatic get away with shooting another child in the head!
I really, really hope this is not true. About eliz's child, I mean. That will disgust me to no end!
It's totally unnecessary. I can't see what purpose it would serve. Unless it's to hilight the fact that she's too busy taking care of everyone else's children & minding Nikolas' business to take care of her own children. Her kids are never on so there's no reason to kill them. Just leave them in the mist with Molly. This way they're available in the future when they need to age another group of kids to entertain summer viewers & they haven't upset a large group of viewers who don't find entertainment in the deaths & mutilation of children.
No please not more kids. can't they find another way for liz to be off canvas for a little while? and if it's between claudia and carly- please let carly have a happy, healthy baby, carly and jax need some joy in their lives not always tradgedy and pain.
I agree. If it's a toss up between Carly & Claudia, it better be Claudia. Sonny's lost so many children, one more won't matter anyway & the kid's better off for it than to have those two nuts as it's parents. Carly & Jax deserve a little bit of happiness & if Michael's not going to calm down any time soon, they should at least have a healthy baby. It's about time Jax had a child of his own. Why is it that he & Jason, the only guys on there who actually would pay attention to their children, are the only ones who don't have any?
What's baby Jake....chopped liver?
You're right, but it's easy to forget that Jason is his dad. Lucky has taken over the role entirely and Jason's paternity is hardly ever mentioned any more.
He might as well be, now that they're not using him as a plot device. I purposely left him out because Jason gave him up for his protection. Something Sonny's not man enough to do. I think it's about time Sonny, who claims he doesn't want to bring any more children into that life, should forget about condoms & go for the old snip snip! In & out of the hospital. No time away from work & Jason can hold down the fort. Then, Sonny can sleep with any lunatic skank he wants & won't have to worry about her raising his child.
Happy Friday!!Rumorville: Our earlier rumors hinted that Sonny's son, Dante, would find his way into the mob without any help from dear old Dad. Could this new character, who is brought onto the canvas in the latter half of June by Claudia, be him? If so, chances are we won't find out for a while because this fella shows up with another name, and initial reports had Dante coming on in mid-July. Either way, we are hearing that the role of Dante has been cast. Rumorville: Alexis is hindered from giving due diligence to the investigation surrounding the death of the Mayor's mistress. The Mayor threatens that he will reveal that Alexis slept with him in order to hold on to her position as District Attorney! Alexis is worried that if this became public that it would only add to the problems she is having with her wild child of a daughter. In other words, the Mayor's fate and Alexis' become intertwined. Poor Alexis will have even more trouble on her hands when despite her efforts, Kristina learns of Alexis' secret.Dominic Zamprogna plays a newcomer who becomes part of Claudia's latest plan. Naturally, Claudia's scheme goes awry. "Chris" makes a big impact not only on Alexis' daughter Kristina, but on Port Charles as a whole. Look for him to air beginning June 22nd. **The Mayor blackmails Alexis **Rebecca acts shocked that she's Emily's twin sister, but she and ETHAN knew all along! **Michael storms out of Carly's house **Who will fall down those stupid UNSAFE steps at GH? **Sonny realizes "his" baby could be "Ric's" baby **After the Mayor's tryst and subsequent fall out, his wife Andrea is on the war path!
Quote:One of Liz's kids dies? Ugh! Just what this show does not need is another dead child. I seriously hope that one's wrong! IAEnough enough lets leave the kids alone for a minute. I'm on kid overload and not in a good way...
I did't know that Alexis slept with the mayor to keep her job. I thought the DA was elected. Ric took over for awhile, wasn't Alexis fighting breast cancer and was too ill to do her job? And then Ric took Molly because he said Alexis couldn't care for her in her condition? And Ric wanted to keep the job but Alexis was well and they went to court ? and Alexis won? I probably have this all half-assed and backwards I would have thought the big secret would have been her helping keep Jerry out of prison. Didn't they have a scene or 2 where the people who knew she was with Jerry told her it could effect her reelection????
You've got it right, Kitty, except for the type of cancer Alexis had. It was lung cancer. This one is worse than the rewrite on Luke & Laura because it's too recent for anyone to swallow. At least the Luke & Laura stuff happened 20 years ago when they were off camera. When would Alexis have had the time for this affair? When she was married to Ric, battling lung cancer, or when she was sleeping with Jerry? There hasn't been enough time since Jerry. Well, maybe there has if you change Alexis' entire personality. Not to mention that in all the scenes she's had with the mayor, it's always seemed like she thought he was a moronic loser. None of Alexis' men have been dimwitted like the mayor. Her style is more like Agent Rayner. She likes them bad, not bone-headed.
Exactly. Alexis has never had a good work to say about the Mayor. But then nobody has. I can't see her being so desparate that she slept with him.
I love Alexis to death but lets face it....she's a horny woman and will sleep with any man who exudes at least 1/2 glass of power. I think thats been proven. Let me know if I need to name them all. Hey, I ain't mad at her though!!!
True, but outside of looks, Mayor Floyd doesn't exude anything but dumb & dull. Horny as she may be, she likes men who are edgy, with a touch of devil. All her men have that. Mayor Floyd is about as edgy as a tennis ball. She'd never be interested in him, especially after Jerry. Pretty much every guy around their would seem boring after that roller coaster ride. Him especially.
More than likely true. I don't know too much about him. I was usually ff past his scenes.
Rumorville: Word is that GH may explore the topic of euthanasia in its next medical storyline. If true, don't look for it to begin until the after the story involving the Mayor, his mistress and his wife, which kicks off next week, comes to an end. There are vague rumors circulating that Lara Parker (Angelique of Dark Shadows) may possibly guest star in the right-to- die storyline. **Maxie and Spin go hunting in Mayor Floyd's office and are seen by: MAC DADDY! **Robin and Patrick are in the middle of a medical mystery **Andrea wants to settle the lawsuit out of court. **Rumor has it...Helena grabs Luke **Luke is gone...by choice or by force? **Diane is on one end of the lawsuit..Alexis is on the other **Matt gets into a scuffle at Jake's **Ethan and Rebecca's "backstory" comes to light. They've been sleepin' together! **Helena finds out about Rebecca's plan and wants in on the action **Michael fights in a bar **ANGER SEX: Claudia and Sonny **Claudia wants Jason taken O-U-T! **Jax finally finds out about Kate's Crimson involvement **Michael continues to push his mother away but has a tough time finding his place anywhere else, either **Kristina thinks she knows just how to push Daddy's buttons **RIC: Does he go out like Alcazar or much more mysteriously!? *Sonny sees Claudia in a new light **Anger-boy Michael is all about the rages. **Sam gets a smackin' big new case! **Matt's in deep trouble **Dante's a fed with a memory block, Sam may know him from her past **Spinelli finally gets some family in town **Rebecca's mission: All that glitters is not gold **Rebecca was sold on the baby market
If all that happens it's going to be quite a summer.
And Claudia hires Dante'
The only thing I can say is WOW!
