I like Sophie a lot and hope she stay with the show. Glad she signed a contract. Like Sophie/Paul being friends.

What was the point of bringing Sophie to Oakdale in the first place? None that I can find. This is what they got rid of Jade and Maddie for?

I wish Sophie would go and Will, Gwen and Hallie would stay!

Sophie had nothing to do with Maddie or Jade leaving. She has nothing to do with Gwen/Will leaving. Gwen/Will are leaving because they want to go. I hope Sofie stays a long time.

I agree, Sofie needs to leave town, I have tried and tried to like this character and it is not working, and TPTB shoving her down my throat is not helping matters either. Then again maybe give her a new storyline I might change my mind, which I will probably have to do seeing as I doubt the character is going anywhere.

I don't understand what and who she is. She is now a friend to Paul (which I like, cuz he needs friends) but that is it. She gave the baby to Gwen and Will and they are leaving town. Maybe she is there for Aaron because Allison is not having any part of him. They are just trying to hard to come up a silly story lines, also, Sophie is dull and boring. She needs to put some life into her character. Remember Kelsey Grammer's daughter and how lifeless she was, now she's gone and she still is lifeless in her character.

I agree this character needs to go. If she must stay, I want her far away from one of all time favs, Barbara. Sorry but Sofie drags every person down that she is in contact with. There are tons of story opportunities that can include Barbara and none of them would include mopey Sofie. Sofie is not nor will she ever be a Jennifer or Gwen.

Let's all remember to tread carefully and keep criticism of Sofie to Sofie and not her portrayer, Justine Cotsonas.

The same goes for Spencer Grammer, even though she's no longer on the show. I actually LOVE her on Greek and think she's doing a fantastic job as Casey, so perhaps ATWT's Lucy just wasn't the right fit for her.

I've heard several other people comment on how good Spencer is on Greek. I do think she was in the wrong role on ATWT.As far as Sofie, I actually enjoyed her the other day when she stood up to Aaron and told hims she could speak for herself. Since she's on contract, I think the character is here to stay. So I wish the writers would give her more backbone and personality. I think the problem is the writing and if they would make her a stronger character it would help enormously.

You're right, Sofie needs to go. She's a week character and I feel she is just a filler. Let's hope not. she can't afford a baby. Even though she is getting her jewelry line going. Maybe Barbara needs to send your to New York to do her line. Lily is back, but not Martha Bryne playing the role.

Maybe Sophie needs to go to Oakhaven. She obviously doesn't have a firm grip on reality. Maybe she can do her jewelry line in there, and then if they "cure" her, she loses her creativity, so she goes on and off her meds, just to keep things interesting.

Hmmmm...Smells like a "Julia" story line. I swear it seems like they don't have WRITERS! They just get some intern to open the script in MS Word and use the Edit>.Replace> function to regurgitate the same story lines for new or some times the same characters!!

Glad to see Sophie is falling in to the "Cute But Psycho" category. Even though the writers were not creative in their elimination of Sophie; her story line is so reminisce of past Emily and Julia stories, my heart is happy because

I know I'm in the minority, but I really wish they hadn't put Sofie on the train to Crazy Town. I'm going to love watching Justine Cotsonas play a full-on loon, but there could have been more for her character to do in town than get all nutty fixated with Paul. She and Aaron were sweet together and she really could have turned out to be Paul's daughter from a teenage indiscretion. It would have been cool to see Paul's kid and Meg's nephew hooking up at a time where Paul and Meg are having trouble.

As a rabid hater of Sohie (but not the actress) I must admit that it would have been nice to see Paul have a (living) kid. Especially seeing as grown kids popping up is the latest rage is Soap Town.

Then throw in that Will and Gwen would be raising Paul's grandchild....it would have been nice.

JP doesn't know how to write a good strong women.. there four type she write. i would love to like sofie but she didn't have any good scenes that make me care for sofie. and she had a lot of screen time. it feeled like she was shoved down on us.

I said a long time ago that Sofie reminded me of Julia Lindsey. Just like Julia, Sofie is getting much more interesting now that they are making her nuts and Justine gets a chance to show she is much more than what the writers had been giving her. Sadly the writers don't know a middle ground and instead of just making her a little crazy they are making her a total whacko.I too think they should have made her Paul's daughter and that would have given her more of a purpose. Without that I just didn't see it. To work with Aaron, I think they needed to make her a little less needy.I get the sense that basically JP is trying to do away with all of the stories that were started while she was on strike and that is affecting some of the characters and leaving no room on the canvas for them.

As long as she don't mess with Luke and Noah, then she's fine. I just wish they had more air time. I think Ameera needs to find her own man. Casey was available. However, I am glad she is now starting to see Col. Maher for what he is, a Monster.

ok now that Sophie is crying rape, Mike is coming to her rescue and go after Paul. Fortunately for Paul, Meg knows the truth. And Mike will be convinced that Meg is covering for Paul. I can just see how this is going to play out. Paul will get arrested.......again, Meg will come to his defense. Sophie will once again make a play for Paul and poor ole Mike will be left out holding the bag. You can almost predict this storyline. Come ATWT, come up with better ideas. This one has been used many many many times. The really why I"m still watching is the Luke and Noah storyline and for Carly.

It'll basically come down to a "she said-he said" as there was no rape kit taken on Sophie. If they tried now they would see that she hadn't had intercourse in the last few ours. I loved it when Paul had his precog powers. he could sure use them now. Now that Sophie is claiming to be preg (with his baby..but i suspect it's Coles).
