B&B’s Sean Kanan (Deacon) and GH’s Carolyn Hennesy (Diane) are currently appearing in a new web series called TRUE COLORS. The project, from Kanan’s wife, Writer/Director/Producer Michele Kanan, was a true labor of love for the couple. “The idea behind it was to create a 5-minute romance exploring that spark, that minute when two people fall in love,” Michele explains. “In the first one, we’re focusing on two people who had given up on love because they thought that love was impossible — but when they meet, the chemistry is definitely there.” As for Hennesy’s involvement, Michele laughs, “I begged her to do it! She actually did our radio show a while back and we kept in touch, so when I wrote it, I actually had her in mind. When she decided to do it, I did cartwheels!” The series has a lot of personal touches behind the scenes, Michele explains. The location, Maven Hair Salon in Beverly Hills, was donated by a friend; the couple's pug, Charli, has a cameo and son Peter was, “Our Director of Photography, cameraman, sound guy, lighting expert and film editor. Sean was talent, animal wrangler and craft services and I was writer, director, producer and casting. It was truly a family effort!” To check out TRUE COLORS, click the link here.
