David wasn't going to shoot her. His big thing with women is intimidation and Liza bought the whole package. I can't believe she spilled everything to him. David has drugged half of Pine Valley at one time or another, but I don't believe he has it in him to shoot anybody. He's more subtle (translation: sneaky) than that. If he shot someone in his own home, there's no way he'd be able to slither out from under it or blame someone else. No, he knew exactly what he was doing and he didn't have to shoot her to get what he wanted. I just wish she'd warn Jake and Amanda that she spilled her guts. If they're not caught off guard, they could convince David that Amanda's post-partum depression has made her delusional and she believes that David took her baby and made her think it was dead. She was distraught and went looking for the baby that she thought was still alive. I really don't want to see David get his hands on that baby. He just wants to OWN a child. People are going to call me heartless, but he has such a God-complex, he's bordering on insane.

The way everyone has lied to him about the baby..Amanda, Jake, Tad, Taylor, etc..the ONLY person that deserves the baby in my book IS David. Amanda..post partum depression? What's everyone else's excuse.Especially TAD..who was lied to and has his own child kept from him for almost 7 years and now he does the same thing to someone else? And they are supposed to be the good guys????

David Hayward is scum, he does not deserve to raise this child or any other child, look how he treats Marissa and he didn't even raise her. He tries to run her life and treats her with such disrespect. Yes, I don't totally agree with what Amanda and them have done, but he harassed and bullied Amanda during her whole pregrancy, that is no father, thats the devil. But I do agree that he should have shot UnLiza, she is so boring and drab. She kills the scenes. She was good on Melrose Place, but Pine Valley is no place for her.

I don't care how awful anyone is. NO ONE deserves to be lied to about his son dying. NO one has the right to play God.

I am not saying that David is innocent..but at least the show portrays him as the bad guy. He is being called out on his bad behavior.

The others - Jake, Amanda, Tad, Opal, Taylor..all act like they are taking the moral road here and they are not. They have no right to do what they did at all..and Tad of all people should be ashamed of himself after losing his own daughter. They are the biggest hypocrits around. At least, David owns up to his scheming.

I agree Jamie Luner is not succeeding as Liza. In A recent interview, she calls Liza a strong woman. Strong? So far, she is incompetant as a lawyer, she has crossed professional lines more than once, she is an awful mother, she comes on to a married man because she can't help herself ?? What is she..12 years old?

Where is this strenghth?????...cause I am not seeing it. I am seeing pathetic.

For Thursday's show...after being forced to hear Amanda whine, Liza whine and Randi whine..I actually fell asleep in the middle of the episode. It was a lot more pleasant than this show.Amanda's whining about David trying to keep her baby from his parent..something she just did with regards to the baby and his father.Liza is whining that she can't represent Amanda because it's a conflict of interests..like when has that ever stopped her before. Her life is a conflict of interests..And now Randi is whining that the baby that didn't belong to her to begin was unfairly taken from her and given to his real parents who are not good enough for her.. obviously being a murderer is irrelevant when talking about parenthood qualifications. Good grief...and who thinks that moving to a cheaper studio with bigger sets is going to make a difference with this mess? There is not one bit of logic or intelligence in any of these storylines.

Oh KathyNYC...u r so right. i find that the hour AMC is on is the best hour of sleep I get the whole day! Even if I'm having nonsensical dreams during that hour, they still make more sense than the drivel on the tv...
