GH's Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo (Brenda) confirmed on Twitter that she is
indeed leaving at the end of her one-year deal this summer. "My final days
are near," she tweeted. "I'll miss Maurice [Benard, Sonny] and cast with
every cell of my being … Was always just a visit but I will always come
back … My boss Jill [Farren Phelps, executive producer] says door is
open. Of her leading men, she added, "I love Maurice Benard. I am lucky to
have ever been able to work with him. I can't say enough about him. He's so
dreamy it kills me … Steve Burton [Jason] got me through first three
months here. He's breathtakingly talented. Wish we had gotten more together
… I love Bradford [Anderson, Spinelli]. He's a genius … love John Ingle
[Edward] … had an INCREDIBLE time."
