Oh my Gosh...Kimberlin Brown on AMC! That's exciting news! Hopefully the role isn't a throwaway judge part. I would love to see if she has any chemistry with MEK.
Love her! David's death was worth it for me now! (Psst...he isn't dead.)
While Kimberlin Brown may be a good actress,I remember her from PC, she is still a newbie here. AMC has enough of them and the ones they have are not developed enough or the fans don't like them. It's not what AMC needs now. So if she's only temporary, it's ok. Let's straighten out what's wrong before adding anymore problems. The only good thing I hope comes out of this is that she cuts Liza in two. I cannot stand this unethical and unprofessional character who dares speak for the people. She hasn't done anything right since coming back to town. She spoke with Tad about the case yesterday and should be fined or removed from the case. It was unethical. I hope Liza loses, although that would mean no one pays again for a crime or death or maybe they will reveal the real killer. Maybe then Liza will leave town on the snake she slithered in on. With the recasting of Marissa and Scott I believe tptb are trying to save the show but adding more newbies isn't the way to go right now, it's why AMC is where they are now.
Are they recasting Borissa and Scott? I didn't read that yet. If they were really smart, they would recast Luner with Brown. Just sayin'....
They are letting them go because they are taking the characters in different directions. Sounds like recasting to me. I personally feel like they will recast Scott and just let Marissa fall by the wayside. The thing about it is, Scott has been recast 2 or 3 times, and the only one that has kind of stuck on everyone's mind is Daniel Cosgrove, and actually he wasn't on the show that long, maybe 2 years. The other Scott didn't last one year. So if they don't bring back Cosgrove, they need to get someone with some acting chops and presence because I personally like the idea of there being more Chandlers than JR and Colby, who could also use a recast. For the life of me, I can't see why they let Ambyr Childers go after making us watch her learn how to act.
Actually, they should have hired her to be David's love interest. They would have been a blast together. She could have been Caleb's long lost sister, or another Martin. Maybe even Krystle's sister. If you are going to hire someone like Kimberlin Brown, you need to take advantage of her acting chops.
I totally agree with you. Of course she could still be one of those...maybe she's Ash's mom...
I loved Amber Childers as Colby! She did have some acting chops, and held her own against big names like Canary, KNight, Etc.It would be a smart move to bring her back..
The sole point of hiring KB to play a judge in a short-term trial is to get fans of hers to show up and watch AMC and hopefully get them to watch AMC after she's stopped airing.I'll be interested to see how many people tune in for KB, and then decide to stick around after the trial is over. I have a guess as to how many that will be, but I'll keep it to myself for now.Otherwise, it's just stunt casting for a few days, and AMC has much bigger problems to fix, IMO, which is where its attention should be.
Gator, ITA, but I also feel they are wasting KB....and that is a shame...They are able to land an A-List powerhouse like KB... Yet, all she does is sit at a bench, flip papers, pretend to write things down, and give a feel nasty looks and commnents to Fake Liza and the vile green gnat...Instead of allowing her to do what she does best...Act....Instead of actually doing a story about "Who Killed David" if David is really dead... The story is the sick, toxic, abusive, obsession btw Rylee......Love KB.... Loved Sheila.....but KB is just wasted in this... As is the rest of the "REAL" talent on AMC.....JMHO
