Why don't we just rename General Hospital and call it SCRUBS. How cute that almost every character is dressed in scrubs even Edward. Could this be a fashion statement

What I thought was interesting was that on an episode back in January, when Matt came to visit Patrick and Robin straight from the hospital, he was still wearing his scrubs. Usually they change out of their scrubs and into some fancy clothing. I worked as a nurse's aide during college and I never changed my clothes after work, I just went home in them. The fact that Matt did that made it seem a little more real - it's the little things . . .

I work in a hospital as a unit secretary and we can come and go in our scrubs. Some floors let there Clinical Partners (they do a lot of pt care as well, but aren't nurses) do so as well. Our nurses and doctors are SUPPOSED to change from their scrubs when they leave, especially if they do surgeries, that way they don't contaminate things. Not all doctors listen to this though. So... I guess what I'm getting at is that I can see things both ways!
