I know I may be in the minority. But I am kind of digging Scott. I was watching the episode with the reporter and he really had a take charge mentality. It made me see that he can be a viable leading man after all with some tweaking. I also found his attitude and behavior kind of charming. He is also developing chemistry with Annie. It doesn't seem as forced as it did when Adam was on the show.
I feel where you are coming from, but I just like the fact that they are adding other layers to him. There have been times when he seems to wear power really well. And he is feeling the heat. I loved the scene at the will reading where he was about to bust himself, but Annie stopped him. He is loving the power, but he is struggling with how to deal with it. He has been doing things that being Stuart and Cindy's son, are not inherent in him to do. It has been kind of fascinating for me to watch. And putting him with Annie who we all know will probably leave him for JR, is plausible when you think of the deception that he has going on. In truth, this quandrangle kind of reminds me of Palmer, Natalie, Ross and Ellen.
I hear what you are saying but the idea that they are adding layers to the character does nothing for me because IMO the actor does not have enough to carry it. No offense, I actually met the actor at the fan event and he was as nice as can be and I wish him the best... but he is not able to carry the weight of the storyline and make me care about the character. JMHO.

Wish I could agree with you, but the actor, talent aside, is not dynamic enough or doesn't carry any presence to pull off any layering. He's mild mannered and the writers would have been better off writing him in the image of his father than as a business mogul whom Caleb and Erica, and I desperately want this to happen, will eat alive. As for a pairing with Annie, no one should be supporting that smirking character to paired with anyone except either with the grim reaper or a cell mate named Big bertha..
It's okay. Wouldn't it be nice if the show brought back Daniel Cosgrove. Now that he has shown that he does indeed have acting chops, he could come back and put some fire in Scott's belly. And I am sorry. I am in the minority, but I do like Annie. I didn't care much for her when she was a goody two shoes. And I believe that she paid for her crimes and continues to pay because she doesn't always get what she wants. Actually, some of her crimes were accidental. What was screwed up was how she dealt with them. If her responses to what she has done had been written differently, alot of people would like her.

Scott's a wuss. Since Adam left him control of the company, he's been walking around with this chest sticking out. He's trying to hard to be the "New Adam Chandler". It looks like Stuart trying to be Adam.
