Please tell me that Frons doesn't have his princess following Erica in the opening credits....

It was bad enough his Golden Boy followed Erica, while Tad, Adam, Jesse, Angie, Kendall, & Zach were behind him... Not to mention, deliciously bad Dr. Dave......but to push them all back further and have the opening intro go something like this...

Erica
GL???
Ryan???
Kendall
Zach
Fake Liza???

Since freakin when does either GL or Ryan deserve 2nd or 3rd billing in the opening credits..

Yes, I get that TK/Zach is gone... For Now anyway, but Kendall shoved back to fourth and Tad, Adam, Jesse, Angie even further.....

Unfreakingbelievable and so Fronslike...

No offense, but niether Ryan or GL deserve those spots......No Way In Haitis....

Both characters are part of the reason the show continues to bomb..

What's next Annie moved up even further.....Fake Liza???

Another reason not to give a crap about AMC.... .because Frons agendas & favs are still sucking the life out of the show..

I am really not a fan of Cameron Mathison and I am especially not a fan of Ryan Lavery but I can at least justify his placement in the front because Cam has been a dedicated member of the show and has remained with them for many years. I think Ryan is a terrible character and a huge waste of time but in terms of placement, I may not like it but at least I can understand it.Rebecca Budig being placed 2nd is just plain ridiculous. Sorry, she has come in and out of the show more times than a yo-yo. She left TWICE to do bigger and better things and then that didn't work out, she comes back and takes 2nd spot in the credits?? What happened to MEK and others who have been there for years and years and years? That is just WRONG on so many levels - to follow Susan Lucci who has been with the show since the beginning, is simply an insult.

There is no doubt that she's a pet of the executives because she certainly has not earned that spot in the opening credits. There certainly is an agenda going on at AMC. Why is Jamie Luner in the spot she's in? She hasn't earned her spot on AMC. However, regardless of where she's placed in the openeing credits she still needs to prove herself and this storyline is laughable and won't do it for her. Any rivalry with Erica is also laughable. She's no foil for Erica, Brooke is. Greenlee is an annoying juvenile gnat that needs to be slapped silly upside her head and sent to her room never to be seen or heard from again. Again no respect is shown to the long time actors on the show who have been loyal to AMC and haven't used it for an ATM machine.

Hi Paul. Am I surprised? Part of me is not suprised at all.. because "favorites" have taken over AMC in the last years to the point of the destruction of the show (whether or not they are working out or not)...and even though we hope things change, they don't.

But yes part of me IS surprised. As everyone knows, I am not a fan of Cameron Mathison/Ryan Lavery but i have to acknowledge that he has a name in this business - he has done many other things besides AMC...commercials, correspondant on both GMA and EXTRA and had his own cable show a while back. He has been on AMC without break for a good many years and RB comes back AGAIN and has her face BEFORE his in the new promo? So YES I am very surprised at that.

I have been to a number of fan events in the past where both CM and RB have been and CM is ALWAYS more popular with the fans.

So what is the point of displacing him in the credits except to piss off fans? And going ahead of many long time actors as well, who obviously do not get the same respect...and I have to ask WHY???

AMC still has not figured out that TELLING the audience who is the star of the show and who to root for - is not the best
method to win fans. RB's last return as the REAL Greenlee was a disaster - and IMO has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to earn 2nd spot in the credits.

I don't have much to contribute to this discussion, but I'll only add that IMO, AMC has made far too many errors in figuring out who are good actors and who are not that talented, which characters the audience likes and who they're ok about (and who they don't like at all), and which storylines the audience wants to see and which they either don't like or which flat-out infuriate the audience. This order of characters in the intro is more proof of that.Last time Greenlee was on AMC, her arrival was billed so that she was practically AMC's savior, except she wasn't. Ratings were either the same or lower than usual. I don't want to get into specifics about Rebecca Budig, but I will say that once Greenlee left AMC after finding out that Kendall was carrying Ryan's baby, AMC survived without Greenlee. Kendall came out from under her shadow. She was able to fall in love and raise a family without the burden of Greenlee watching every.single.move. Kendall made. Life went on. Bad HWs have since come and gone. Greenlee is not going to save AMC, any more than any one character or actor can do so. Putting her that far ahead of other characters sends the wrong signal to me, as if she's back to being The Chosen One who will keep people tuning in. Well, maybe she will and maybe she won't. Her return to AMC is one of several reasons I'm not watching AMC right now. But again, AMC can't figure that out. I can't even be upset on behalf of Cameron Mathison right now. I'm more peeved that AMC keeps putting the wrong characters front and center, giving them undue importance on the show, and thinking that this is what viewers want. Speaking for myself, no thanks.

Just to clarify my previous statements, I am not upset on behalf of Cameron's new placement, as I never felt he deserved the 2nd spot to begin with..but that's another topic.

I am surprise and more than a little disheartened to see that even CM - who IS a favorite of BF, AMC and ABC...lost a spot to Rebecca Budig, who just returned for who knows how long for the umpteenth time.

There is nothing in the history of RB's time at AMC - whether or not you are happy to see her back or not..that warrants her being #2 in the credits after Susan Lucci who has been there 40 years. It's just wrong period.

I never thought he belonged right after Erica. It should be her family in the beginning and at the end like it was when they first premiered this except Kendall should have followed her and then Ryidiot later .The end used to have Myrtle, Reggie, Jack, Lily, and Bianca. Jack should have proceeded Erica with everyone else before him since he was her love/husband. Now that Kendall is gone, Jack should be up with Greens and if AMC eve gets their brain back and ruintes J/E, than he should be right after her or before her.

ITA. The character/actress definitely does not deserve the 2nd spot, and I'm shocked (but not surprised) that she got it as I understand that she is considered a fav. There are far more deserving actors/actresses who definitely deserve the spot. I guess this is a sign of what things are to come on AMC -- the Greenlee hour.

Instead of AMC, they should just change the name to:::The Ryan, Greenlee, PsychoAnnie, Fake Liza Hour and be done with it...I know that some thing the opening isn't a big deal and that the placement of the characters is no big thing, but it just reminds me so much of the "REAL" Greenlee campaign...Erica is in the right spot, but shoving Greenlee as 2nd billing and Keeping Ryass up front, while other likable, decent, enjoyable characters like Kendall, Zach, Tad, Jesse, Angie are pushed further back makes my skin crawl...Yes, I know that TK/Zach is gone, but they better start finding a way to bring him back..If Frons can give his pets the sun, moon, and the stars, he certainly can offer the most talented actor in daytime, who plays a character that is loved by the masses something to bring him back..... GL in that second spot doesn't sit well with a lot of us....but I'm sure Frons's favs are loving it...
