I can't stand to watch Ryan & Greenlee. When Ryan was with Annie (before she went wacko) I liked them together. But the way the writers have handled everything stinks to me. Ryan blames everyone for everything except himself.

And it's scary as heck that Pratt has announced that Ryan is a hero who has good intentions...and that scared me because it seemed that Pratt was obviously not paying attention to what Ryan has done.

But now I am even more scared because he has said he wants to bring Ryan back to a time when he was more popular and he gives us this?

Sometimes I think that Pratt is writing a cartoon...instead of a daytime drama. There is no depth, no honesty and no respect for the facts.

It makes me ill that we had to lose Josh and yet the hated Ryan not only stays on but is considered a hero by TPTB. Pratt stated he is throwing stones at Zach. I so totally agree that Ryan's character is ugly! I couldn't believe it when the dr called & he screamed "ex-wife" & was so angry with the dr cuz she messed up his sex time with GL!Ryan used & abused Annie! He stole her life, sanity and her child. He didn't even know he had a child til Annie came into his life & now he has full custody! Please! And I hate the way they are writing Emma as so accepting of GL, like her Mother never existed!!!

Unfortunately, they haven't known what to do with Ryan since Gillian died. They probably felt that he became the show's hero by allowing her heart to be given to Laura English. Yes it's an unselfish act, but hardly an act of heroism. Tad was a hero. He saved Dixie from Adam's abuse time and time again. Chuck Tyler was hero. Trevor Dillon was. Zach is, he saved Kendall and Spike. At least he was hero until Pratt came along and made him a hypocrite.Ryan is not a hero! They should have resumed Ryan's previous charming con man traits, he was tolerable then. AMC has a penchant for keeping the most obnoxious and disliked characters front and center who never pay for their misdeeds ; Greenlee needs to pay for kidnapping Spike; Annie for killing Richie, Bianca, Reese for double teaming Zach into betraying Kendall in the most vile way. These characters are not victims or heroes or heroines, they're perpertraters, they need to pay!The writers have a skewed sense of right and wrong. The reasons they give these characters for doing what they did are inane and insulting.if they want to write about betrayals, murders and what have you but aren't brave enough to write a major character out, don't have them commit the crime. I'm tired of Pine Valley's view of jsustice.

ITA.... They have no idea what to do with Ryan, so go with the tried and failed method.... Destroy every character around him in an attempt to make him look good.... Shove him with the most popular characters, the most popular couple, and people will have to watch..No to mention that they must have his biggest victims singing his priases, all the while telling him nothing is his fault..Take today for instance...Ryan is having a hissy fit that Dr. Sinclair is trying to hurt Annie.... She wants her in prison to pay for killing Ritchie...Well, isn't that what he said he wanted Friday and everyday since this things started..Hell, that's why he blames Zach because if he had told about Annie killing Ritchie, she would have gone to prison and Rylee wouldn't have too deal with her..Now, all the sudden Ryan is worried about Annie and doesn't want her to be put away..Let's not forget GL.... The other day, she tells the dr. that Annie is faking, but today she tells Ryan, Annie is crazy..Inconsistant....and total crap..They need to get rid of Ryan... Hell, if they want to fix him, move him out of PV for a couple of years, then bring him back in like 6 years, with a different attitude...My wish is Ryan leaves and never comes back, but since Froms loves him so much, that will never happen...He needs to go... He's nothing, but a joke....and not a funny one either..

What made me laugh..is Ryan has always been "so worried about his kids". If anyone even "sneezed", Ryan was up in their faces threatening custody...which has happened more times than I care to remember.If God forbid, Ryan found Emma's hands burned when she was in Kendall or Zach's charge, or even Annie's charge..he would have been threatening a custody suit within seconds. He has done it for far less than a REAL physical injury because a child was allowed to go near a hot stove without supervision. I can just hear Ryan's rants and raves about his children needing to be in a safe environment and only he can provide that.Unfortunately, when Ryan's daughter got burned severly enough to have to go to the hospital, not a word was spoken. It was like..whoops, no biggie. Greenlee didn't mean any harm. So what else is new?Why should I be surprised? When Ryan regained his memory and remembered loving Greenlee as the true love of his life, no mention was made of the fact that she kidnapped Spike. No mention was made about how he promised to love Annie forever and ever...and he turned his back on her time and time again last year. And now not even a slight mention..a question..about how this happened in Greenlee's care. It was like....no biggie. Obviously self-righteous Ryan's worries about his children's safety blow hot and cold depending on who he feels superior to at the moment. Ryan..the moral fiber of PV..NOT.
