Fan favorite Robert Newman (ex-Josh, GL) is starring in a new off-Broadway production called She's Of A Certain Age, which opens at The Beckett Theatre in New York City on May 20. "I'm working opposite Drena DeNiro [Robert DeNiro's daughter]," the actor shares. "It's an unusual piece that revolves around two older women who are sisters and Drena plays the daughter of one of them and it's about what she learns from them. She feels like she's come to a point in her life where she can just end this negative relationship that she's been in for many years and that's where I step into the piece." Newman is thrilled to also share the stage with daytime veteran Rosemary Prinz (ex-Penny, ATWT). "She's great," Newman raves. "Holy moly, what a terrific actress! They're all just good. In a little way, I feel like I'm back on the soaps because it's definitely a woman's play, written by a woman and about these three women, but you know, I sort of feel at home in that world," he smiles.
