I agree, Ridge and Taylor were the best match on that show, but Brooke had to get her way yet again right. I don't like Brooke much, to self absorbed.

when she came on she was likablle, until Caroline was in the mix. And she was in Stephanies face all the time. But when she slept with all the Forrester men or married them ugh cooties. Yes I do remember her a Grace on the Y & R and not only did she bring Cassie back but she seduce Nick and almost wrecked Nick and Sharon's marriage.So ya she is some what of a home wrecker, gold digger and anything else you want to put in that catagorie.

IF I remember correctly Ridge and Brooke had a thing first. Doc came in to work with Ridge ended up with Ridge . She has since then bedding all Brooke's left overs in the name of I am a much better person than Brooke. . Taylor acts ways to high and mighty and when she sleeps around is't not a crime but when Brooke does the same she's call all the dirty names in the book. Taylor lost all morals as a doctor when she was with her best friend Step's husband and bedding James . She can't even call Brooke names. Take a count of all your men first Doc.

You are remembering correctly - Brooke, Ridge, and Caroline were THE triangle at the start of the show. When the actress who played Caroline wanted to leave, they killed her and put Taylor in her place and the triangle continues. (See "I hate Taylor" for more of my opinion on the subject.)
