Remember When?

DAYS heroine Marlena acted devilish in 1995, and fans were stunned to find out that Satan got his clutches into her. Head Writer James E. Reilly penned the controversial demonic possession tale in which the not-so-good doctor torched a church, levitated Exorcist-style and took on Kristen’s appearance to seduce John, a priest at the time. Salem’s top villain was no match for Satan, who tossed Stefano DiMera over a balcony. Fortunately, John cast out the demon and Marlena returned to her saintly ways. Reilly’s taste for the supernatural didn’t end there: In 1998, he launched a new out-of-this-world soap, PASSIONS.
