I must say after watching the 2003 Xmas show we see how far our show has fallen. Still the best of the soaps, it is amazing how much the feel of the show has changed. The 2003 show was so classy and really made me feel the characters: Katherine and Jill reaching out for each other, The Newmans missing Victor, sweet Cassie of course. No nutty Baldwin clan or chipmunk crowd. Sadly, we will never see these type shows anymore. Thank you Bill Bell.

But it was nice to see Micheal peeking into the Newman's window watching him have a Christmas with his family, after Victor refused to be let out on bail. Nice to see Mamie ( Hmm but NO Winters?) Was nice to see the bug Cricket,Danny, and Gina. Brad (we MISS you, even though you're at B&B). Wow what a difference 6-7 yrs makes huh? But some things stayed the same, the Nikki/Victor/Ashnut triangle.( Ash is STILL crazy after all these years ) And you can see why Sharon is so anxious to recreate her family life, or A family life. She seemed SO Happy back then, but of course Cassie was alive.she and Nick were together..One thing I did notice Sharon & Nikki for all of their differences and sniping, are alot alike, then and now.
