Much like his portrayer’s hair, Wyatt is in a state of transition right now.

“[Laughs] Very true! Thank you for noticing. I’m getting there. The bangs are slowly coming in. I’m still trying to connect the dots but getting there.”

Has anyone said the new ’do makes you look younger?

“My mom said that to me. She’s like, ‘I’m so glad you changed your hair. I didn’t like that spiky crap. I didn’t know what you were doing but this thing is great.’ ”

As Wyatt is adjusting to life without Steffy, he’s been more involved with Bill at Spencer Publications.

“Isn’t that great? I love working with Don [Diamont, Bill] to begin with, but I love when they touch on that whole father/son dynamic, because Wyatt and Bill are much more alike than Liam and Bill, and I love when they play off that. I’d like to see Wyatt get more involved in the family business.”

They also had a scene where Wyatt was staring at a photo of Sally. Could that possibly be some foreshadowing?

“Maybe. I guess he is a bit intrigued by Miss Sally Spectra.”

Well, it’s a plus that she hasn’t already dated his brother, Liam.

“True, but of course, someone else is there first named Thomas.”

What do you think of Wyatt giving Thomas a run for his money?

“I think that could be great. When it comes to Wyatt and Sally, they have a lot in common. They both grew up the same way; they came from the streets. They didn’t grow up rich, in big houses. They grew up fighting for everything they got. I think these two would probably think the same way on certain issues. It’d be fun to see them helping each other. I’d love to explore how Wyatt’s dealing with being dumped by the last three women he dated and/or married. I think that kind of rejection would certainly give him a bit of a bad boy attitude now.”

When do you think Wyatt will find out about Quinn jeopardizing her marriage to Eric by kissing Ridge?

“I know, right? I love that story and I don’t know when he’ll find out. That’s great conflict. Of course, she’s his mother and he’d probably stand by her but at the same time, he loves Eric. Eric took Wyatt into his home and called him ‘son’, so there would definitely be some conflicted loyalties there. I hope we get to play that and soon, not just for the great dramatic potential but I miss working with those guys.”
