Quick Chat With OLTL's Kassie DePaiva

We recently caught up with ONE LIFE TO LIVE star Kassie DePaiva (Blair).

Soap Opera Weekly: If you, Kassie, could sit Blair down and give her some advice, what might that be?

Kassie DePaiva: I would say to maybe not wear such tight clothes. I would maybe do a background check on every man she comes in contact with. Also, listen to her children. They know more than she gives them credit for. Don’t listen to Dorian. I would also tell her to relax a little bit, and have a little bit more fun.

Weekly: Is she still very active in running the Capricorn nightclub? We haven’t seen her there, but she’s been so busy.

DePaiva: Yeah, I think so. I hope that they will, maybe in the fall, when she gets her feet back. When she gets back on the ground, you know, and settles back into her life, if there is such a thing. You know, if people ever settle in. It would be nice to do some more music at the nightclub and focus on that. Maybe work with David [Fumero, Cristian], which I enjoy a lot. And who knows — maybe I can get Starr in there to start singing. That would be nice, too.
Weekly: Matt Walton (Eli) is one dreamboat.

DePaiva: He is a handsome devil, isn’t he? He’s been really great, too.

Weekly: And it’s so fun. I’ve spoken to him a couple of times — he must be having so much fun playing bad Eli.

DePaiva: I think he is, and I think we were all kind of blindsided by the fact that Eli turned bad. One minute he was sweet and wonderful; the next minute, I’m looking through the script and he’s showing up at Ford’s, and I’m going, “Oh, my! Bad!” I thought, “Here we go again. Blair thinks she’s found Prince Charming, and he turns out to be the devil!”
