Ariana is really good. She had been mixed up with a bad crowd and was sent to jail on a drug charge. She is out of jail on the condition that she works with the Police Dept. to pretend to be a drug dealer to help bring down the head of the drug operation in Salem, who used to be Victor, but he sold the business to the DiMera's, so now it's EJ she's after. Pretty implausible story because it's doubtful a real PD would send a civilian undercover and put her in that kind of danger. But this is a soap. They take license.We don't know yet whether Carly's daughter is Mia or Melanie. It hasn't been revealed yet.Nicole "dyed" her hair to disguise herself when she kidnapped Sydney. The photos in the paper showed her as a blond. Not that it worked out that well for her. She supposedly dyed it and cut it herself in a rented room when she went on the run. Pretty bad, eh?

I have a question too that I am confused on. I thought I had caught up on everything, but I am missing something. Did they ever finally say how Rafe "killed" his fiancee'. I must have missed it, unless they dropped it when his fiancee's sister kidnapped him. Add that to the list of reasons why I'm quitting the show (see my new post).

Yeah, they dropped the ball on that one, didn't they? I would think that's a big question that needed to be answered. If they explained it, I missed it.

No they haven't answered that ?. They seem to jump from one sl to another without finishing the first one. I would like to know the answer to that same question too. And what happened to Meredith anyway, she just disappeared after dumping his body, and has anyone noticed how they haven't gone after her for trying to kill Rafe. I think they need to back peddle and fix this real quick. Enough of the stupid crap with Phillip, Stephanie, Nathan and Melanie. And I am in total shock that EJ and Anna are in cahoots of the kidnapping of Sydney. I thought Anna loved Roman, how could she do this to Sami then. I know that Sami used to be a big a** brat, but she has grown up and has become alot like her mother, Marlene. Who needs to come back with John, ASAP! So this is my opinion. I almost forgot to mention the excellent job that Susan Rogers (Maggie) did when she found Mickey dead. I can not believe they killed him off, but giving Maggie more SL is a total plus anyway.

I think Carly's daughter is Mel. Mia knows who her mother is.-Just doesn't want anything to do with her.

They needed to be able to show photos and flashbacks of Mickey and Maggie from when they first met and married, and John Clarke was Mickey back then. Hard to film Kevin and Susan trying to look 20 years younger.Also, this thing with Carly's daughter. Mia is a high school kid and Melanie is out of high school and was in nursing school. So how the heck could Carly not know which one is her daughter? She must know how old the kid is for God's sake!

Guess you're right about Kevin Dobson, but it really ls strange. Wonder if something really happened to Clarke since he retired. As for Melanie and Mia, Carly knows her daughter is Melanie - she's just trying to keep Viv from finding out!

It seems so obvious that Mel is Carly's daughter, even if they haven't said it. Just the way Mel hates he rand doesn't know her. Totally lost mom/daughter material. And as disappointed as I have been in Days lately, Suzanne Rogers has been incredible. Her grief is so real, and not over the top soap drama. I cried every time they showed her. It was so much like how my Mom was when my stepdad died a couple years ago. Just the little things that would make her cry, like deleting the voicemail, and sleeping on his pillow. Ms. Rogers is amazing right now!!!

After today's show, it's obvious that Melanie is Carly's daughter because Carly told Bo "she hates me" after the confrontation at Maggie's. If they told us before, I missed it, but it's obvious now. I agree about Maggie. Suzanne is really bringing it. High time they gave her some material to work with.

Thanks for bringing that up because I thought that I had missed the day that it was revealed what happened to Rafe's wife. On another note I like how Days builds characters especially with Chelsea and now Melanie. Both girls were total brats and I just couldn't understand why Days would keep these brats around. I grew to like Chelsea, who turned out well and now Mels is a keeper. Cudos to Days for that. I like that Mel is Carly's daughter (who is the father??) but now it also looks like sweet Mia will turn bad???

I am thinking that Bo or Daniel is Melanie's father. I don't know if anyone else has any ideas on this. I think that it will make for good story now that she is going to be marrying Phillip, how will Vivian react to that and would explain why Carly came to Bo in the first place. This also explains why they put them two together. I do not really care for Phillip and Melanie together, but its entertaining to watch right now. Melanie is really bringing it and should be nominated for an emmy this year. I hope that Bo & Hope find their way back to each other, that is where they belong. Carly and Bo are boring together.

Wow! It would make total sense that Daniel turn out to be Melanie's father. The story line would then morph into Daniel, Chloe, Mel plus bring up Chloes' inability to have children.

My question is this. How old is Melanie supposed to be? I like the character of Melanie quite a bit now; I had some trouble with the character at first, but Melanie has turned out to be quite entertaining and extremely compassionate and kind. Daniel turning out to be the Father? I like it; although I do not like Carly!!! (sorry Carly fans).
