Joe, I haven't read SOD yet, but I intend to pick it up tomorrow, but I did get a heads up on something in SOD this week, that kind of shocked me..
Someone said that in SOD there was a comment from a fan or fans that they are turned off by Taylor/Brot...
I was a bit shocked by that because I actually think that BE & JR Martinez are really good together..
I'm liking Taylor more now than I did when AMC was trying to recreate the Gus/Harley thing with Taylor/Jake..
JR Martinez is a great addition to AMC...
Brot/Taylor are sweet together, but maybe that's just me..
I was wondering are there a lot of fans writing in that they don't like Brot/Taylor...
I don't think they get enough on-air time to tell a story for them and that may be the problem because they don't really have a story right now, but it does surprise me that there are those who are turned off by them..
Everyone has their favs.... I think we all know that mind is Zach/Kendall, Jesse/Angie, but I keep trying to find another couple to like and I was starting to like Brot/Taylor..
I really enjoy the character of Brot...JR Martinez is great.....but like many TPTB haven't taken the time to develop a decent story for these two..
So, in my very long winded way, is there a lot of negative regarding Brot/Taylor???? I would be very surprised if there was, but I am curious...
I'm wondering if it's just because they don't have a story and when they do pop up, it's sort of fill in...
Although, I haven't really been tuning in lately so maybe I missed something...
Personally, if TPTB would ever write a stroy for them, I would watch it, but only if it was a good story....Then again, this is AMC and right now.... Well, I'll just stop while I'm ahead...

I just checked, and there's nothing about them in the mailbag right now. I remember back when JR debuted we received some positive feedback, but it trailed off.
Thanks Joe....It kind of surprised me because I heard and seen nothing, but positive comments about JR Martinez, Brot/Taylor...JR Martinez/Brot is like a breath of fresh air to AMC....with all the crap going on, his character and the start of Brot/Taylor is nice.... TPTB just need to commit to the character and the couple....If they did, I'd bet my last dollor that you would be bombarded with tons of positive feedback.....but that's just me...JMHOThanks for answering....
I agree. This couple has promise..they are just in need of a real storyline.I also think that Taylor is IMO the ONLY woman in Pine Valley who has been written to have a brain..it's refreshing.
Kathy, be careful....If TPTB find out that Taylor still has her brain, they might remove it....LOL!!!!!They have potential and promise, but no s/l.....

I think this is a heck of storyline that can be created what did women do when the handsome men they loved came back home from a war not the same as they left? Physically and mentally? Many are now disabled in many ways...this is an opportunity for a good love story...
There is so much potential here. I didnt realize there has been no reaction to them. I absolutely love this storyline.
to prove that point. My son is a Marine. He like some men isn't a soap fan. He heard about this Brot story & loves it. The men & women of this country deserve this story line. This is real life on a soap. I think it's a chance to do good for many. I just wish AMC would give them more air time.
