PASSIONS' Best Back-From-The-Dead Moments

8. What better (or more dramatic) way to ring in the New Year than to have the New Year’s Eve party crashed — literally — by the MIA/presumed dead patriarch of the Lopez-Fitzgerald clan? Martin Fitzgerald fell through the rooftop skylight of the Seascape restaurant just as the town’s partygoers (including his family) were counting down to 2000 below. Unfortunately, his back-from-the-dead was a bust on two levels: He died shortly after hitting the buffet table, and it turned out he was really an impostor.7. Poor Luis saw his beloved Sheridan get shot dead in a melee between the FBI and the Parisian drug lords who had kidnapped her. Little did he know that Sheridan was faking her death to help the FBI flush out the rest of the drug cartel. Unfortunately the joke was almost on Sheridan as she was buried alive and almost died for real.
6. Sheridan’s most-extended period of being “dead” occurred when she was presumed dead after her boat exploded. An amnesiac Sheridan was rescued from the drink by fisherman Brian O’Leary, who was really Luis’ brother, Antonio. When Sheridan came to, she took the name of Diana and lived with Brian on the island for several months until she returned to Harmony with Brian/Antonio, where her memory finally returned.
