I am just a tad bit irritated with TPTB as of late. Everyone has been getting screen time, even the day players not on contract...heck even Michael gets more than Lainey Winters. I don't know what to do, besides being continuously irritated that the only time we've really seen her in months or with an actual storyline was on a spinoff! The writers were on to possible dynamite when she was treating Sonny for his bipolar diagnosis back when he was still dating a live Emily. Even when they broke up, something was there between the two or even a hint. Could have been something, maybe nothing but we'll never know now since we never see them interacting anymore. I also feel it's a slap in ther face to have the character only show up as a drinking buddy at Coleman's. It just gets on my nerves that they're sitting on an obviously talented actress who isn't getting her dues and has been languishing on the back burner pretty much since she's been at GH for the past 3+ years. Meanwhile, newbie Nadine (who annoys and creeps me out) is being thrown into major storylines with a love interest already! ***And no; Justus nor Stan weren't love interests...it was never fleshed out at all....now that I think about it, why did they have to kill both off in the first place? Those three could've been a cool triangle or even w/o Justus...there was Cody--oh, yeah; he's been MIA, too**** 
I feel sorry for Kent King. She's beautiful, talented, and she's sadly underused. I've always enjoyed Lainey, and I really liked where they were going with her storyline in late 2005 (her father, her relationship with Justice), but just like that...gone! I don't understand why it is so hard for the-powers-that-be to actually write for characters whose names aren't Sonny, Jason, Carly, or Lulu. The favoritism is beyond ridiculous and needs to stop.

I read on Graham's[Cody] MySpace page, that in NightShift 2, Cody will get out of jail and will explore a relationship with Lainey!!! Yeah...I can't wait.
Yes, I had forgot about Cody. Wasn't he brought on the show to get revenge on Logan? I guess they dropped that s/l.
What don't they drop on this show? (Anything not related to Sonny, Jason & Carly) Cody was supposed to be seeking revenge on Logan as well as mixing it up with Maxie & Coop(she helped score him some drugs or tried to) Unfortunately the ONLY good thing to come from Night Shift (I'll refrain from calling it that other, not so nice yet equally deserved name), was Cody & Hottie Leo, both of whom were interesting charaters with potential(Leo with Maxie) & Cody with Lainey.What were potentailly fascinatign stories died rather quickly. (Leo was reduced to high-fiving Mcskeevy & Kate's heart problem-another dropped story) & Cody is . . . in prison? In rehab? In Shadybrook? In bed with Lainey(only in fanfic) And poor Dr. Winters hasn't been seen or heard from since she toasted two day-players in Jakes. And here I thought they would at least showcase her what with Michael getting therapy. Nope, she's gone the way of Dr. Steven Lars. At least Stan (and the three . . . four actors that played him) something happened . . . albeit offscreen. I'd trade both nurses, that new sleezy doc(one is enough thank you), the new mob boss (Claudy Z), Trevor Lansing & Daddy Z for some Cody/Lainey.

OMG I love your avator. It's so nice to see Zach & Kendall smiling(it's such a rare occurance). And I like Spixie too, Spinelli is too cute with Maxie, & he knows just what to say to her.And speaking of Dr. WInters, the Coringhtos family's definately going to need some therapy now. Paging Dr. Winters please . . .
In the special GH feed that plays only in my head, Cody got out of jail and has totally been making up for lost time with Lainey. That's why we haven't seen her...because he won't let her leave the loft. LOL!

They definately generated HEAT. I'd prefer Lainey/Cody to some of the pairings we've got on GH now. And done right-they'd be the next supercouple of this show. And FYI ABC-Cody was a REAL SOLDIER-not those two pansies Sonny & Jason.

Lainey was great on Night Shift. They should have taken notice and used her more on GH afterwards, especially considerting the shameful lack of diversity on GH. She's beautiful, a wonderful actress, and she has chemistry with many of the actors. Why not use her?The fans' lack of outrage is as disappointing as TPTB's short-sightedness.
