Francisco San Martin (Dario) has no plans to cancel his trip to the Daytime Emmy Award in Las Vegas just because he was let go from the soap last week. The good-natured actor announced his departure on Twitter on June 9. He shared, "I wanted you guys to hear it from me first. [DAYS] has decided to bring back some of the old characters and I'll be one of the casualties." Later that same day, he posted, "I'm still partying my ass off at the Emmys…. hahahahaha." San Martin continues taping until early July and will still be seen on-camera until September. Meanwhile, he plans to continue living in Los Angeles while he pursues other roles.
