That scene between Opal and Richie was very funny. I've always loved psychic Opal. I loved her response to Richie when he asked if it was hot in the room.
"Well if it is, embrace it. It's good for your pores." She was a hoot. She's got Richie's number. I wish they'd had scenes together before he was ruined beyond redemption. They might have been great comic relief.
I feel Richie will be gone by the end of sweeps.
Now if only she'd use the card on Uncle Robert.
I, too, think Opal can be a lot of fun. I want to go back and look at the tarot sequence again, and try to get a better view of the specific cards and layout Opal used.

I'm another Opal lover. The show needs her, her over-the-top personality is always a hoot, and adds some balance to the show. I would love to have Opal and Marion on more often....they are priceless together.

That's true. Opal's smitten, though so she won't recognize Robert's plans until it's too late.

She's sort of the comical character, but she can bring the seriousness too. I just remember when Dixie first came back and Opal found out she had led them all to believe she was dead. Those scenes with Opal, Dixie and Palmer were great and intense.
I like the Opal & Richie dynamic. Jill & Billy work great together

They were very interesting to watch. I'm happy to see more of Opal these days. She provides an interesting element to the show. I'd much rather watch Jill Larson's Opal than some of the other characters they try to shove down our throats like Greenlee, Ryan, Annie and Aidan.
