I give TPTB credit for seeing a storyline that was getting much negative feedback and trying to fix it. (Evidence the forum input on Victor and Sabrina.) I couldn't stand the thought of Victor as a cradle robber. However, now they are having us think that he is a murderer. Besides that he is now going to spend the rest of his days as a hermit mourning the death of a woman that he was acquainted with for a whole 6 months??? Jack may have it right. Maybe he has lost his faculties. Hello writers, don't you know that deep and lasting love is nurtured and cultivated when two people spend time with each other and grow together. Please lay this whole thing to rest...............
I am right there with you. I was thrilled when Y&R was put on Soapnet, because those are the only soaps I am able to watch. Now I watch maybe 2 times a week, and depending on the story of the day, sometimes not even that often. And you know, it's not just Y&R. Have the soap writers gone and strike and we just don't know about it?? I think some of the forum contributors could do a better job. At least some of them have some unusual ideas!!
They better be going somewhere good with this as I am going through my batteries forwarding the DVR. The writers strike screwed everything up. I used to watch 4 soaps and I am down to just Y&R now and some OTL. I try to tune into Days but BORING. Yikes and they figure out why people aren't tuning in.
hey plankton couldn't agree more with you. I think that the writers strike affected all the stories. They tend at times to paint themselves into a corner (see Sabrina) and then don't kno how to get out of it. But i have noticed the TPTB do seem to pat alot of attn to this particular formun, and respond to it.(again see Sabrina) most of the time they have the sense to pull the storyline. But alot of the time they try to make us happy by going back to the tried and true, which doesn't work either. I KNOW their job can't be easy, but don't give up on Y&R, just keep posting. Course some odf us do have better ideas, cause some of us have been watching for eons so we Do KNOW what we're talking about , for the most part anyway

As far as Victor is concerned you are right they need to stop flogging that dead horse, he is dead already, I mean how many times can a person leave town and come back before people get fed up with him. Obviously to many times in Victor's case. Victor leave or stay but close the revolving door already.And if what I read in Star Weekly is true as of Sept 19 the little triangle of Cane, Lily and Chloe is about to adopt two more people which will now make a circle.Who are they you might ask, well none other than Amber and Liam (oop's) I mean Billy.
Yea Grandma. Did you also read that Ashley is comming back as well. Looks real interesting for the Abbott family. I also read that Sabrina will be back on for a Day, But I think it's just in Victor's dreams, no pun intended. Maybe she will get through to him.

No, he is just going to let it sit. I liked how Nick said today that the Ranch is trashed and he has never seen it like that. It has only been a few days, are you kidding me. Victor must be on his yearly vacation or something. He is going to come back with a VENGENCE though, bet on that.

Sabrina will start appearing to Victor & show him how he is needed by his family. (Sort of like Clarence the angel in It's a Wonderful Life)Then, Nikki will get into some life endangering trouble, Victor will snap out of his depression to save her, they'll get back together & by Xmas there'll be a huge family celebration at the ranch. I'd much rather Mrs Chandler go over to the ranch, take a pc of her jewelry & just knock some sense into him. But how did the ranch get "trashed" in such short order? I've got 2 teenagers & even they couldn't pull that off.

If that is the case I agree they are getting as old news as say Carly and Sonny (GH) or Brooke and Ridge (B&B). BORING.They all need to take a reality check. I'm just tired of the same makeup to breakup storylines most of the soaps play with their older established couples. They might change the situations but the story is basically the same over & over again. I know William & Lee Bell wouldn't have written characters with so little substance, particularly the star super couple they had developed so well with Nikki & Victor.

I agree, I think they need to let them go their separate ways and develop and nurture new super couples. There are more people out there for them we just need to find them.
I think Vic and NIc might get a delay in their reunion with Ashley coming back to the show. The other thought, maybe Adam might try to hook up with Ashley, that would really tic off Vic.

Ya but on today's show Jack got his hooks into him and they are heading to Mexico to dig up more dirt on Victors trip there. I hope they get more than they bargin for would look good on both of them.

Glossy, I am gonna have to take a few days off from watching Y&R because the storyline is boring. They managed to make the one purpose for watching the show disapear...VICTOR. Come on, this is going to get old real quick.And I see Whiny boy managed to have sex with Heather before he leaves her...nice.
