Today's episode was a repeat. Happy Labor Day!
Tuesday
Kelly was at La Boulaie when John escorted Blair home from their crazy adventure in Tahiti. Blair lamented that she married a murderer and was widowed all in one day. Kelly was disappointed to hear that she didn't have a chance to confront her mother's killer before he died. John headed home, and Blair gave Kelly the full story of Melinda's murder. Kelly had some bad news to share with Blair as well: Téa's dead. Blair cried as she lamented not having had a chance to say good-bye to her friend.
Brody couldn't wait to be present for Jessica's sonogram and was taken aback when Dr. Wright asked him to stay in the waiting room. She told him it would just be a few minutes until they were ready for him, then privately reported to Jessica that Brody had been asking questions the day before. Nevertheless, she'd scheduled the injection and would keep quiet for her patient. The ultrasound got underway, and Jessica became nervous as she witnessed Brody's excitement over seeing their little baby. Afterward, Jessica couldn't keep the truth hidden any longer, and finally confessed that there's a chance the baby might not be his.
At the Angel Square Hotel, Natalie found herself confiding her own anxieties to Roxy without giving too much away. John came home before Nat could end up confessing something she shouldn't, and Roxy excused herself, warning John to watch out for her mood swings. Natalie was clearly nervous about attending their first sonogram appointment. When John asked her what was wrong, she stood to face him and said, "I guess I should tell you."
Rex and Gigi enjoyed a picnic in the park and Rex surprised her with a back-to-school pack of supplies. He left Gigi to her studies and ran into Kelly wandering at the bridge with her mother's ashes. She told Rex about her last special moment with her mom, then privately scattered the ashes. Rex returned to Gigi just as she finished her assignment and they began to make out.
Over breakfast at the Buenos Dias, Layla encouraged her fianc to accept the grant, but he was wondering what that meant for her career opportunity in Paris. After Greg frantically tried to reach Eli, unaware that he was dead, he met Destiny for breakfast. Des saw Cristian and Layla and went to offer her condolences for the loss of his friend Téa, but Cris hadn't heard a thing about it. Later, Destiny offered the lovers unsolicited advice after overhearing them discuss their long-distance dilemma.
Jack went to see Dani at Todd's house and gave her an unexpected sympathy hug. He told Todd and Dani how much he loved Téa, adding that he was much happier about Todd marrying Téa than Blair marrying Eli. "Don't worry. Eli's not in the picture anymore," Todd told them. Todd then explained about Eli's death and his shady past as a killer, which didn't surprise Jack but upset Danielle. Blair arrived to console Dani and began to apologize for leaving with Eli, but Dani assured her it's okay. Todd applauded Blair for giving Eli what he deserved, although she didn't intend for him to end up dead. Blair, in turn, expressed her sincere condolences to Todd for his loss. Later, Greg came by unexpectedly and announced that he has something to share with Todd about Téa's death.
Wednesday
Before their sonogram appointment, Natalie braced herself to tell John the truth about her baby's paternity. "It's about the baby ... and Brody," she began, but was interrupted by a knock at the door. It was Marty, who wanted to know if it's true that Eli's dead. John explained what happened in Tahiti and said he was sorry that he couldn't bring Eli back alive to pay for what he did to Marty. When Marty asked why Eli pushed her, John explained that their theory was right: Eli wanted to throw John off of his trail, and that's why their baby is gone. Marty told John that he has a very good reason to move on from that, looking in Natalie's direction. Marty graciously expressed her happiness for the pair, then excused herself. John asked what it was Nat had to tell him before Marty showed up. Natalie backtracked and claimed she was just concerned about the pregnancy because of what Jessica and Brody are going through with her Rh treatment. John assured her that everything would be fine, and made her promise to let him do all the worrying from now on.
At the hospital, Jessica broke the news to Brody that her baby might not be his. Brody could hardly believe it, and Jess was forced to admit that she slept with someone else. Brody nearly exploded upon realizing it was Ford who bedded his girlfriend while she was suffering from amnesia. Jessica tearfully apologized for keeping the truth from him, but Brody remained silent. To Jess's dismay, Brody suddenly ran off, leaving her to cry over the sonogram pic of her baby. Meanwhile, Natalie and John arrived for their high-tech sonogram, which showed them the baby's face and everything. When Dr. Wright asked if they'd like to know the sex, John and Nat agreed to be surprised. John was beside himself with joy as they continued, while Nat clearly couldn't stop worrying.
At the student center, Ford slithered over to Langston as she was grappling with a map and offered to show her around, but she refused his help. James approached Starr before their first day of classes and offered to walk her, but Cole intercepted and told James to keep his distance. Langston and James both showed up for class and wondered where their teacher was. An administrator came in and announced that Ford had decided not to teach the class because of a conflict of interest. Langston tracked down Ford, who happily told her there's nothing keeping them from dating now. Meanwhile, Starr and Cole argued about him keeping what he knew about Eli from her and inadvertently putting her mom in danger. Cole insisted that he told John and that was all he could do at the time. Both tired of fighting, they agreed to call a truce. Later, however, Cole found Starr and James chatting closely in the lounge. Ford, meanwhile, was talking to Langston at the student center when Brody rushed in and knocked out Ford.
Greg was about to tell Todd something important about Téa when he received a mysterious text message. Greg revealed that Téa had experienced a "moment of clarity" in which she asked for Todd and Danielle, but would say nothing more. Todd demanded to know why Greg hadn't told him about this at the time, but Greg swore he tried to contact Todd and Dani, who were already on the plane to see Téa. They got there too late, end of story, Greg said. After Todd kicked the doctor out, Greg glanced at the text on his phone, which said, "Don't say another word." Greg nervously looked around before leaving Todd's doorstep. Todd decided to seek out Marty for some grief counseling and asked how she recovered after Patrick died. Marty urged him to focus on Dani, which Todd didn't think was very good advice, and offered to set him up with one of her colleagues. "I hate shrinks," Todd barked on his way out. Back at home, a package arrived for Todd: Téa's ashes. Greg, meanwhile, showed up at Marty's office needing to get something off his chest.
Thursday
Natalie and John were beaming after their ultrasound, while Jessica sobbed in the wake of Brody's dramatic exit from the exam room. At the university, Brody pulled some serious Navy SEAL moves that practically made Ford pass out, while Langston ran to get help. Campus security arrived on the scene, but Brody claimed he was there on "police business." Langston was disgusted to learn that Ford slept with Jessica when she had amnesia and thought she was 17. "I should haul your ass in for statutory rape," Brody threatened, but a cooler head prevailed, and Brody returned to the hospital to find Jessica. Langston, meanwhile, reiterated to Ford that she will never trust him again.
At the Llanview PD, Bo questioned Clint about his sudden interest in having Matthew work with him. Clint didn't see why Matthew shouldn't learn the family business, but Bo wanted Matt to focus on school. Clint promised to not let Matt's work at BE interfere, so Bo tentatively agreed to let Matthew give it a go. After Clint left his office, Bo watched his brother shamelessly flirt with Inez. Clint even asked Inez out for lunch under the guise of introducing her to the best Caesar salad in town. Bo was highly skeptical of his brother's motives and said as much to Inez.
After their doctors' appointments, Natalie ran into Jessica in the hospital hallway and saw that she'd been crying. She asked her sister to sit down and tell her what's wrong. Jessica tearfully confessed that Brody may not be the father of her child. Natalie was clearly affected as Jess talked about how the joyful look on Brody's face during their sonogram compelled her to come clean. When Brody later came by looking for Jess, he ran into Natalie. Brody expressed his anger, exclaiming that the child was supposed to be his.
Danielle met up with Nate in the school auditorium and explained that her mom would have wanted her to go back to school. Matt arrived just in time to see Dani kissing Nate good-bye, while Darren informed Destiny that Matt and Nate are both going out for the basketball team. Destiny thought this was very bad news and went to speak with Matt before the tryouts. She pleaded with her pal not to do this just because of Nate. Matt swore all he'd wanted the year before (when he was in a wheelchair) was to play ball, then promptly taunted Nate on the court. He even pretended that Nate pushed him to get Nate in trouble, just as Clint arrived. Clint applauded Matt for his "killer instincts."
Todd was sitting with Téa's ashes when Dani came home and the saw the urn. Todd admitted that he's having trouble making sense of Téa's death. Todd shared with Dani that Téa had changed her mind about wanting to see them before she died, but Greg said they were too late. John arrived to offer his condolences, which Todd graciously accepted. He then warned Todd that Ross may be coming after him, while Dani eavesdropped. Todd wondered if Ross and Eli were in cahoots before Eli died. Later, Dani received a text that said, "I'm coming for you." When Todd asked who was texting, Dani lied that it was Nate. Meanwhile, Greg confided in Marty that there's "something" he could have done regarding Téa's situation. Marty asked why he didn't grant Téa's last wish to summon Todd and Dani to the hospice, and he revealed that "someone" didn't want him to. Marty was confused. Greg freaked out and didn't want to say anything more. Marty advised him that the only way she'd have to break their doctor-patient confidentiality is if someone's planning a murder. Greg resolved to keep his mouth shut, muttering something about not feeling "free" in a long time. Just as he ducked out, he received a call that stopped him dead in his tracks. At the PD, John confided his suspicion to Bo that Eli is far from dead.
Friday
At the hospital, Brody admitted that he freaked out upon learning that Ford may be the father of Jessica's baby and went straight to LU to attack him. Brody told Natalie that he feels even more compelled at this point to tell Jessica the truth about their one-night stand, which made Nat very nervous. Ultimately, Brody agreed that if he does come clean with Jessica, he'll give Natalie fair warning. Before he left, she asked him to consider the good side to their dilemma: Two little miracles are entering the world. Langston, meanwhile, caught up Starr on the Jessica/Ford drama at LU. Their conversation soon turned to Starr's troubles with Cole, who at that moment was confronting James about his "friendship" with Starr. Cole instructed James to steer clear of Starr, and while James agreed to not interfere in Starr and Cole's relationship, he advised Cole not to screw it up, or else he'll be there to pick up the pieces. Later, Cole located Starr at school and offered to walk her home. Starr smiled as they walked off together.
Back at Llanfair, Ford found Jessica crying in her kitchen and told her what happened at the university. To Jess's surprise, Ford turned out to be a pretty good shoulder to cry on, as he assured her that Brody loves her and they'll work through it. Ford returned home to his sullen brother, who was miffed about Ford dropping the class he was supposed teach. Ford explained that there's no point in dropping the class now because Langston refuses to give him a chance. In the park, Langston angrily crossed out Ford's name from her syllabus. Brody, meanwhile, was gazing at the baby's sonogram printout and calling Jessica when he heard a knock at his door. To his relief, it was Jessica.
Dani found Nate in the school gym and told him about the strange text message she received. She shared her theory that it may have been from Ross, and Nate wondered what Dani would do if Ross came to town. Meanwhile, Greg ran into the school frantically looking for Destiny. The teen was confused when he explained that he just wanted to make sure she was safe. Greg nervously explained that he'd read something about hazing being a real concern among high school students. In the gym, Destiny came across Nate, who admitted that he didn't know how to help Dani. Greg returned to the hospice center and came face-to-face with someone he wasn't expecting to see. "You're alive," he marveled.
Kelly visited Todd to offer her condolences, and Todd shared his theory that Eli and Ross were working together. Todd wanted to print something about it in The Sun, but Kelly urged him to wait and presented him with a tribute to Ta that she wanted to run instead. Kelly was leaving just as Dani arrived home. "I lied about Ross," Todd cryptically admitted. "So did I," she stated, to his surprise.
