OLTL Week of September 28, 2009
Monday
Rex called Gigi to see if she could come hear Lionel Richie at UltraViolet;
Gigi asked her boss. Schuyler learned that he'd been banned from ever
teaching in Llanview schools again. When Gigi offered to talk to Viki on
his behalf, Schuyler thanked her for her support. Gigi
urged her friend to become a doctor. "Why don't you go for it?" she
pushed. Schuyler admitted he was more than halfway through his medical
school education and then agreed to apply to LU medical school.
The manager of Rodi's offered Schuyler a job but Schuyler worried about causing
any more trouble with Rex. Gigi admitted that she had turned Rex’s proposal
down. Schuyler took the job at Rodi's.
Rex pulled some strings at UV so Stacy and Kim could hear the concert. As he admitted to a UV co-worker that Stacy might be
having Rex's baby, Stacy listened and figured out that there was something
not quite right in the Gigi/Rex relationship. Kim and Stacy made sure that
Rex overheard a conversation in which they discussed Gigi getting Schuyler a
job at Rodi's. Rex was not amused.
Markko told Langston his first assignment would be making a movie about her.
Langston wanted to make love but Markko wanted to make the movie first. The assignment? "A
three minute movie about something you love." Langston reviewed one of Dorian's speeches as Markko taped her.
Markko added that there was no way that Dorian could beat Viki in the
election. After Markko finished the mini-film, he and Langston began to make
love. The camera appeared to still be running as they began to
undress.
Ross refused to accompany Blair to the wedding, and locked himself in the
bathroom. Ross looked at Dorian's check. "We got time," he said while Blair
cooled her heels outside the door. Ross wasn't sure that wearing a tux
was be the best way to make a entrance at the wedding. Blair said she
would break up the wedding with Ross or without him, then threatened to
call the cops on him.
Todd and Téa's wedding began. Téa accused Todd of looking for Blair instead
of listening to the minister. The two started to argue and Téa
stormed out, followed by Starr and Viki. Todd reminded her that "you come
first in my life. I love you," he said tenderly. Meanwhile Blair and Ross
ran behind the bushes. Ross grabbed Blair as Téa and Todd began the wedding
vow. Todd spoke extemporaneously. "We are meant for each
other," he said. "You tame my worst impulses," he added. Téa thanked Viki
for being there and told the guests she loves all of them. "I never want to
lose you," Téa said to Todd.
Ross pulled Blair on a boat and locked her in the galley, then drove the
boat to the middle of Llantano Bay! He refused to take Blair back to the
country club, admitting that he didn't want to stop the wedding. A furious Blair called 911 to report she had been kidnapped. But she couldn’t get a connection. "Turn the boat around," she demanded.
Instead, Ross tossed the keys into the water. Blair threatened to swim a shore.
Through binoculars, Blair saw the final moments of Todd and Téa's vows.
Tuesday
While Todd and Téa were pronounced husband and wife, Blair blew a fog horn that the entire town of Llanview heard.
Blair threatened Ross with a watery grave. Ross tried to have Blair accept the fact that it was over for her and Todd, as it is for Ross and Téa. "Watch and weep, babe," Ross said. Blair watched as Téa put the ring on Todd's finger. "Don't do it!" Blair yelled. Mr. and Mrs. Todd Manning were introduced to the guests, as Blair fretted that her big moment had come and gone.
At the reception, Viki and Charlie talked about the "big secret." Viki later told Téa that she hoped she'd tell Todd the truth sooner than later.
Téa assured Jack that this was the last time they'd (Todd and Téa) be getting married. Starr thought it was nice to see her dad so happy, but was worried about Blair. Todd thought Blair was probably somewhere licking her wounds.
Gigi got dressed up for the "big to do" at Ultra Violet. Schuyler was more than grateful to step in at Rodi's so Gigi could go to the show. Rex asked Kim for the details about how Gigi was excited that Schuyler had been hired at Rodi's. When Rex said he would have offered Schuyler a job at UV,
Gigi suggested Schuyler wouldn't take that job if it was an issue for Rex and Gigi. Rex admitted that if he came between Gigi and Schuyler's friendship, things would be worse for him and Gigi.
Blair admitted to Ross that she has feelings for Todd. "News flash: he doesn't have feelings for you," responded Ross. Blair accused Ross of hiding something "just like Téa is." Remembering Dorian’s generous check, Ross encouraged Blair to let Todd go.
Kim sat by the bar at Rodi's talking to Schuyler. She reported that Rex and Gigi were madly in love with each other. Schuyler winced a little. Kim asked Schuyler if he had ever been in love like that. "Not really," he said and added that he was focusing on work and getting his life back together. Kim asked Schuyler out on a date. "Whaaaat," he said. Kim wanted Schuyler to be her wing man. Kim admitted to have having a crush on Schuyler way back when.
Langston was excited to have won tickets to the Lionel Richie concert. She was so happy she and Markko (note: they were half dressed) started kissing. Cole and Starr walked in. Oops. "This might be a good time to discuss house rules," Cole quipped.
In the honeymoon cabana, Todd told Téa they were getting a fresh start. Todd poured glasses of champagne as Téa came out in a wedding night negligee.
Lionel Richie and Jeremih performed "Just Go" to a full house at Ultra Violet.
Wednesday
Blair woke up in Ross' "borrowed boat." She looked for Ross but he was nowhere to be found. He was swimming. "What's the rush Blair? The wedding is over. The deed is done," he said. Blair reminded Ross that Téa was still Mrs. Rayburn. "Téa is going to have hell to pay," Blair said hinting at how Todd might react to that news. Ross told Blair that just because she has damming information doesn't mean "you have to use it." Ross admitted to liking her. Blair reminded Ross that they "were both in this together." Ross showed her that he had found the keys and started the boat back to Llanview. "What happens when we get back is totally up to you," he said. Blair and Ross were at the door of Todd and Téa's honeymoon cabana. Blair looked stricken when she heard Todd and Téa laughing.
David paid his father Bo a visit and they watched the DVD of David's failed reality series, specifically a scene involving Matthew and Destiny. Matthew said, on the DVD, that he had seen Bo and Nora kissing before Nora married "uncle Clint." Bo looked worried. Clint and Nora walked in on that awkward moment. David covered and told Clint that the camera loves him. Nora and Clint told Bo that they thought Matthew might be "starting to waiver" about the surgery. "Isn't there a housewife who is desperate for you somewhere?" Nora quipped to David. David promised he would never use anything on that DVD against them, his family. Clint left and Bo showed her the part of David's DVD where Matthew told Destiny about the kiss. Nora said that the kiss was a bad judgment call made many months ago. The two of them broke David's DVD. Bo looked sad. Nora said she worried that Matthew was scheduling his surgery at that moment.
John asked David about the DVD he had showed to Bo. David had a second one and gave it to John. John immediately looked at the part of the tape that showed Jessica on the patio calling out for Nash. John zeroed in on a bush and saw a man behind it.
Clint called John and asked him if he had any leads on who had beat up Jared. "It might be the same guy who's been stalking my daughter," Clint said. John assured him he was working on it. Clint told Nora that he was glad to see her. Matthew heard his mom say that Dr. Evans almost "killed his own brother." Clint said that Asa would be proud of Matthew. Matthew wasn't so sure Asa would approve of his suing his parents. Clint reminded Matthew that nobody wants to lose him. Nora pointed out that what happened to Shaun could happen to him. Matthew went to see Dr. Evans. Nora hoped that what Clint said made an impression on Matthew.
Destiny sat by her brother Shaun and tried to make him so mad "he'd tell me what's what." Greg said Shaun would only have love for her, however Shaun probably hates Shaun. Destiny reminded Greg that he'd be operating on Matthew soon. Destiny told Greg that Shaun loves detective books. Greg read aloud to Shaun. Unfortunately, the book mentioned two brothers involved with the same woman and that scenario resulted in fratricide.
Destiny ran into Matthew in the hall. Matthew asked Greg when they could do the surgery. A solemn Greg told Matthew he wouldn't be doing the surgery.
Natalie played nurse to Jared. Jared took a call from a mystery man. Brody walked in and noticed that Jared was acting kind of sneaky. Jared saw Brody and immediately got off the phone. Jessica came in with breakfast.
John came in and questioned the foursome about the history of their "stalker" experience. They told him about the heart drawn on the window and the elephant that Bree got from "daddy." Natalie was annoyed at John for asking questions and insinuating that Jared was behind this. "I didn't do anything wrong," Jared insisted. "Jared was the only one of you who was assaulted," John said. Brody walked John to the door. Brody told John that Jared had drilled him about John. He told him about the phone call he had seen Jared taking. Brody said he could check Jared's call log. "Watch your back," Jared's phone rang and he ignored it in front of Natalie. The minute she left the room Jared grabbed the phone and placed a call to a man who was actually on the patio looking in the window.
Todd and Blair woke up. "I don't think I can be Mrs. Manning," Téa told her new husband. Todd would hear nothing of it. Téa said she was talking about keeping her own name. Todd said he didn't care that she had spent all those years with Ross Rayburn. Téa reminded Todd that now she's his wife she can't defend him in court anymore. "I need to feel safe. I need to feel I can tell you anything," Téa said. "You can," Todd assured her. Téa was still annoyed that Todd seemed to be looking for Blair during their wedding. Todd wanted to stop the Blair talk. Todd started kissing her and they went under the sheets.
Breakfast was delivered to the cabana. Ross wanted to eat the mangoes but Blair and Ross vanished when Téa came to the door. She found the check Dorian had written Ross on the ground.
Thursday
Schuyler told Rachel about his new job at Rodi's. She wondered if working at a bar would tempt him to drink. She asked him if he wanted Med School or Gigi Morasco. Schuyler smiled.
Kim wanted to order "a Schuyler" at Rodi's, and accused Gigi of being jealous of her date with Schuyler. Schuyler showed up at work and ran into Kim, who flirted with Schuyler until he agreed to a date. Gigi listened. "Have you lost your mind?" Gigi asked. Schuyler told Gigi that he’d known Kim a lot longer than Gigi had. "She's Vegas Trash. You can do so much better than her, Schuyler," Gigi spat, then glared at Kim. "She's smoking mad," Kim told Stacy on the phone.
At Rodi's, Kyle informed Oliver that Mr. Fish blamed Kyle for Oliver's homosexuality. Kyle said he was happy to stand up for Oliver to his father. Oliver apologized for having hurt him in college. "You are perfect just the way you are," Kyle told Oliver, and said he forgave him. Oliver admitted he always wondered what would have happened had his mother not walked in on them. Nick ran in and he and Kyle went off to a table at Rodi's. "I'm proud of you," Kyle said as he left with Nick. Oliver looked a little sad to see them together.
Cris joined Oliver at the bar and urged him to joined Kyle and Nick. Cris asked him if he still wants Kyle. "Kyle is seeing someone," Oliver said sadly."No rings, no strings," Cris reminded Oliver as the "straight guy’s take on that." Cris assured Oliver that Kyle and Nick probably weren't that serious since the relationship was still pretty new. Cris suggested Oliver tell Kyle how he feels. Oliver asked Cris when HE was going to tell Layla how he feels about her. Touch—! "I'm gay, not stupid," Oliver said. Cris asked Oliver for advice. "Take your own advice. Tell her how you feel," Oliver urged.
Kyle brought Nick up to speed on his conversation with Oliver but assured him that Oliver was the past. Nick kissed Kyle goodbye. Oliver approached Kyle and said he wanted to talk.
Layla seemed to be jealous that Cris was showing a prospective art dealer around town. Layla covered her feelings but was relieved when Cris later told her he had been stood up by the art dealer.
John got a printout of the image of the man in the bushes. Jared had a frustrating call with a mysterious man outdoors. He kept looking through the window. John called Natalie to tell her he was on his way to Llanfair and arrived with more questions for Jared, then showed them the printout of the man in the bushes. "Do you recognize him?" he asked. "Is that the stalker?" Jessica wondered. John wanted to show the photo to Bree. Natalie couldn't believe that John "wanted to question a child." Bree identified the photo as "Daddy”! Brody went to John's office at the precinct and informed him Jared's phone had lots of calls from an unidentified caller.
Greg told Matthew he wouldn't be doing his surgery, ever. He admitted he wasn't going to be operating on anyone else again, either, because he didn't want to hurt anyone else like "I hurt our brother." Destiny was stunned. "Matthew needs a surgeon who is not going to kill him," he added. Greg suggested a Dr. Nance. Matthew wouldn't hear of it. "I'm sorry, my mind is made up," Greg screamed. Matthew was upset at the thought of being in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Rachel showed up and asked what was wrong. Matthew wheeled off angrily. Rachel joined Greg in Shawn's room and had questions for Greg about his decision not to operate again. "Do you think you meant to hurt your brother?" Rachel asked a gloomy Greg, who reiterated his intention not to operate ever again. Rachel admitted that she was seeing Marty Saybrooke and suggested that Greg see a shrink as well. Greg was appalled at her suggestion and told her to get out of the room.
The man outside Llanfair left another message for Jared. Jared said he was positive he had never seen the man in that photo. As Natalie peppered him with more questions, Jared kept denying. Later, at the precinct, John identified the man as Wayne Landers and revealed that he had been in prison with Jared.
Friday
Dorian was thrilled to see that Téa and Todd had gotten married and were on the front page of The Sun. David told Dorian to turn to page 3. They had run a photo of Dorian's old mug shot! Dorian yelled at David for having done nothing to protect her as her campaign manager, then dispatched David over to Viki's to spy on her campaign tactics.
Ross suggested that Blair go with him to Tahiti, then kissed her ... and she kissed him back. Blair pulled away, walked off and plopped herself in front of Dorian. "You are better off without Todd and you know it," Dorian insisted. As Ross hovered outside La Boulaie, Dorian hinted that Blair should hook up with Ross. Blair went to change and when she returned to the living room, she overheard Ross asking Dorian for a replacement check. "I earned every penny," he claimed. "My, my I should have known," Blair said as she sashayed into the living room, calling Dorian "aunt pimp." Blair was so furious she threatened to tell Todd and NOT drop the charges against Ross. "She's stuck on him. There's nothing anyone can do about it, not even you," Ross said firmly. David showed up and told Dorian that they need a high profile gay person on their staff. "I already have one," Dorian said with a smile, "You."
Ross got another check from Dorian. Téa banged on Dorian's door, then walked into the cabana and came face to face with Ross.
Téa and Todd came home after their honeymoon night at the cabana. Todd asked Téa what had been bothering her since breakfast. (She had seen the check written to Ross Rayburn from Dorian.) Todd suggested they have a baby but Téa thought that would be unwise at the moment. When she headed out to go to court, Todd complained, "We are on our honeymoon.” Téa responded with a kiss goodbye. When Blair charged into Todd's living room, he was not interested in what she had to say. "Let Téa make a fool of you. See if I care," Blair said as she stormed off. When Todd opened the door, Blair was waiting outside. "Okay, let's have it. What did you find out?" he demanded. Blair told Todd that the Todd/Téa wedding was a fake. "You can't be Téa's husband because she already has one!" Blair informed a stunned Todd.
Nick Chavez came to Llanfair to seek Viki's support in the same sex marriage initiative. David charged in to the discussion. "Did Dorian send you?" Viki asked. Nick asked Viki and then David about Dorian's campaign staff. Viki
had a gay man and a lesbian on her staff. David told him about Andre, Dorian's hair/makeup person. Nick wasn't impressed with David.
When Oliver told Kyle that he still cares about him, Kyle said he had never stopped thinking of him, either. "I want a real life. I want you, Kyle. And I don't care who knows it," Oliver said. "I can't do this," Kyle replied, explaining, "What if I am not what you remember? What if it doesn't work out again?" Kyle also pointed out that Oliver was too newly "out" to go back to his old college boyfriend, and added that he was in a relationship with Nick. "He's an activist," Kyle said. Nick showed up and Kyle explained that he and Oliver were "having the breakup talk we never had." Oliver was heartbroken.
Reminding Cris of his track record, Layla advised him not to give love advice to Oliver. Cristian asked if Layla would want to know if someone was interested in her. Layla brought up Vincent's name and said she wasn't ready for a relationship.
Brody and John were pretty certain that Jared was lying, and wondered if there was any way Jared and Wayne had known each other in prison. Brody called Jessica and asked her to come to precinct but not let anyone else know. She slipped out, but Natalie suspected Jessica had lied to her. Jared lied to Natalie about who just called him, saying it was a call from the office. Natalie snatched his phone, then got dressed for a date with Jared. She later found him hovering over a dead
body on the patio!
