Monday
Rex took Bo out for a congratulatory brunch, explaining that he should have been commended for his bravery at the warehouse. When Rex complained about Gigi and Schuyler's closeness, Bo said that shouldn't matter as long as Gigi and Rex are strong. Rex assured Bo that he and Gigi are solid and no one can get between them. The only problem is there's going to be a baby and he's not sure how Gigi will handle that, Rex explained. Bo suggested that once the baby's born, he won't have to take care of Stacy anymore. Perhaps talking about himself, however, he noted that one day you might wake up and realize your relationship is gone if you don't work at it.
Schuyler ran through the park and right into Gigi on her way to work. She asked why he's running all the time now and he said he's been running off his frustration (which he claimed has to do with not being allowed to teach). Gigi admitted that she thinks Rex is stuffing down his excitement about the baby for her sake.
After Todd found Blair in the cabana again with the young lifeguard and threatened to burn it down, Téa accused him of being insanely jealous. Todd said he just didn't want his kids to walk in on "Moms Gone Wild" in the cabana, but Téa pointed out that the kids are always Blair's excuse, too. She urged him to be honest with himself and recall why he left Téa on that island in the first place: for Blair. Todd insisted that things had changed, that he had changed.
Meanwhile, Blair was passionately kissing Ross, who was the one who pulled her into a kiss. After she backed away, he challenged her to admit she liked the kiss. She refused, so he suggested that she'd rather be kissing Todd, which further miffed her. Ross said he wasn't so sure Téa would marry Todd after witnessing his latest flare-up, but Blair's hopes were dashed when she walked in on Todd convincing Téa to go through with the wedding. Todd wanted to get married that night but they compromised on one week from now. Blair rushed back to the cabana and told Ross it's happening in a week! Todd started making calls about finding a top-notch wedding planner.
Greg looked down at Shaun in a coma and imagined that he was sitting before him, hinting that Greg wanted this to happen. Greg wasn't the only one feeling guilty; back at the Buchanan manse, Rachel confided her own twisted-up emotions to her mom. Nora trusted her daughter to do what's right for her, and thanked Rachel for helping her sort her own feelings out before the wedding. Nora reported that she has no regrets about marrying Clint. Meanwhile, Matthew gave Destiny the medal commending Shaun's bravery and said her brother was a hero, but Destiny corrected, "Shaun is a hero." She was sure her brother would recover soon. Matthew headed to the Bon-Jour, where his dad tried to make him see why he's so afraid of Matthew having surgery. Back at the mansion, Matthew sat his parents down and expressed how sorry he was that things had gotten to this point. He was about to say something big when Téa called and said the verdict had been handed down. Rachel, meanwhile, walked in on Greg sobbing over his comatose brother.
Rex approached the bench where Gigi and Schuyler were sitting, and stopped and listened as Gigi shared her fear that the future they once wanted may not be within reach because of Stacy and the baby. Once Schuyler was gone, Rex surprised Gigi by getting down on one knee. "Marry me, Gigi," he asked.
Tuesday
Nora called Clint to let him know about the verdict, but he had his hands
tied with Jared, who'd been attacked at the BE offices. Bo and Nora arrived
at the courthouse and ran into David, who gloated that Matthew was going to
win this case. Inside, Téa told Elijah to pack his bags. The judge called
everyone to order and allowed the Buchanans' attorney to make a final
argument. Elijah went on to explain that Shaun had suffered at the hand of
his brother, Greg, who is clearly not fit to perform surgery. David started
to have second thoughts about what his brother was planning to do. Téa
pointed out to the judge that the hospital is not taking any legal action
against Dr. Evans. Nevertheless, the judge handed down her decision in favor
of Matthew. Nora was speechless, while Matthew and David high-fived.
Gigi didn't appear thrilled by Rex's sudden proposal and questioned his
motives. When he said they no longer talk about the future, she realized
that he'd just overheard her conversation with Schuyler. He admitted that he
was jealous of her telling Schuyler things that she can't tell Rex and hoped
that being married would change that. Gigi said she loves Rex but declined
his proposal, explaining that she doesn't need a ring to survive Stacy and
her baby.
Kim tried to get Stacy to drink a milkshake at Rodi's but she pushed it
away, griping about the whole pregnancy thing. Kim assured her that it's
going to be worth it when she wins Rex's heart. Stacy, however, was starting
to realize how strong Gigi and Rex's love really is and wasn't sure if this
was all worth it. As they walked home from Rodi's, Stacy was pretty much
ready to leave Llanview when she stumbled upon Rex and Gigi in what appeared
to be a disagreement. They huddled in the trees as Rex and Gigi kissed and
made up, but Stacy could see how upset Rex was and suddenly had a renewed
sense of determination.
Rachel went to visit Shaun and found a guilt-ridden Greg sobbing over his
brother. He explained that he blames himself for what happened and feels
guilty about trying to win Rachel away from Shaun. In an attempt to make
themselves both feel better, they sat by Shaun while listening to the CD
that Rachel brought. She urged Greg to go see his parents and Destiny, and
get some rest. But as he walked out, he imagined his brother was awake and
staring at his disapprovingly.
John asked Jessica a few questions in Brody's hospital room about the
beating, while Kyle checked out Jared. Kyle and Fish ran into each other in
the hospital halls and Kyle happily reported that he'd just gotten back into
medical school. Fish promptly announced that he'd just come out to his
parents. Kyle listened as Fish talked of their disappointment and asked what
finally made him decide to come out. "A woman," Oliver said, referring to
Stacy. Meanwhile, Layla thanked Cristian for being such a good friend
through everything that's happened over the last year.
John went to question Jared about what happened at BE but his description
was pretty spotty. Jared couldn't even look John in the eye as he tried to
recall details of his attacker. Natalie angrily paced back and forth as she
watched her ex-boyfriend grill her husband. When Jared later tried to calm
her down, she told him that he shouldn't have driven himself to the hospital
on his own, just as John hinted to Fish that he's got his doubts about someone.
As the courtroom let out, Elijah warned Téa that he plans to file a stay.
Nora, meanwhile, got down on her knees and begged Matthew not to undergo the surgery. Matthew looked his mother in the eye and told her to be brave, that
he would have the surgery and she'd be fine. Once he was gone, Nora crumpled into a heap on the floor with Bo holding her for support, while Clint called and left a voicemail.
Wednesday
John came face-to-face with Mr. Fish at the Angel Square Hotel and was shocked when he claimed Oliver is no longer his son. When George went on to explain that Oliver is "a homosexual," John said that's none of his business. Marty, however, jumped to Oliver's defense and begged George not to make the same mistakes she did with Cole. Suddenly, Kyle and Nick were at the foot of the stairs kissing good-bye and Llanview's gayness was too much for George. Kyle overheard Oliver's father refer to his lifestyle as an "abomination" and stormed over. George blamed Kyle for corrupting his son, but Kyle noted that Oliver was always afraid of disappointing his father. Meanwhile, Oliver's mom made a clandestine visit to his apartment. Layla and Cristian gave them some time alone, and Barbara admitted that she'd always hoped Oliver would grow out of his "phase." Fish assured her that he didn't. Before she left, Oliver requested that she tell his father that he loves him. Barbara returned to the hotel to find her husband arguing with Kyle.
Ernesto Rivera showed up at the Buenos Dias Caf in search of Markko to let him know that his wife is threatening divorce because of his treatment of their son. Markko tearfully told his father that if he had to choose between Ernesto and Langston, he'd choose his girlfriend. Markko pleaded with Ernesto to remember how proud he once was of him and asked how he could change his feelings now. Before storming off, Markko told his dad if he wants to talk again, he can come to Cole's apartment, where he'll be living by his rules.
Bo was also at the Buenos Dias pleading with his own son to be cautious. David tried to offer his two cents, while a distraught Ernesto sat at a table nearby. Markko headed to Cole's and informed him, Langston and Starr what happened with his dad. After trying to be supportive of both Bo and Matthew, David asked Bo what he thinks of him. Bo said he's not quite sure what to make of David but accepts him as his son. David said he's always wanted a dad like Bo and that Matthew is pretty lucky to have him. They they sat down to their first father/son breakfast.
Téa and Todd showed up at Llanfair to share their news with Viki. Todd headed out to take care of wedding details, while Téa caught Viki up on what happened at the cabana, sharing her own fears about Todd's jealousy when it comes to Blair. Meanwhile, Todd asked Jack to be his best man. Jack pointed out that Todd must not have a lot of friends and asked what's in it for him. He even blurted out that he wants his parents to get back together, despite how "hot" Téa is. Jack later walked in on a conversation between Blair and Dorian and overheard her mention "Ross Rayburn." Jack asked if Ross is the guy he saw in the cabana and wondered what he'd get for keeping his mouth shut. Blair promised to make it worth his while. Dorian was appalled at how much Jack was becoming like Todd. Téa, meanwhile, told Viki that she was previously involved with someone and is ready for a clean slate. Viki advised her that getting things out in the open is the right way to go, and happily agreed to be Téa's matron of honor. Todd returned and asked what they'd been talking about.
Before leaving town, George went over to Oliver's apartment to say that he's always loved him; he just can't accept his lifestyle. Barbara promised to call her son soon. Fish was pained as he closed the door behind him. Ernesto, meanwhile, dropped by Cole's and told Markko that he loves him and isn't giving up on him.
Thursday
Natalie walked around Jared's ransacked office. John told her the police were
done with their investigation, and that they saw something on the
security tape. He showed Natalie the tape of the man attacking Jared.
Apparently the camera stopped taping and didn't get the whole attack. John
thought it was an inside job, and pointed out that they didn't get a good
look at the attacker's face. Natalie urged John to give up on Jared and go
after the real guy. Jared couldn't believe that John thought he was the
stalker. John reminded Jared that he was the victim, then asked what
happened to the video camera. Jared made an excuse. Natalie wanted her
husband to take it easy, and warned Jared that John was looking into
his background.
Dorian walked in on Ross in the cabana and knew exactly who he was. She
locked the door behind her. Ross figured out ,"You're Dorian Lord." Dorian
said could make his "wildest dreams come true," then lobbed questions about
the length of Ross’s marriage to Téa. "The plan has changed,"
Dorian grinned, adding, "Blair doesn't know.” She pulled
out a blank check and began filling it out, then showed Ross the sum of money
she’d pay him to romance Blair. "Get her out of Llanview," Dorian
begged. "She's not interested in me," Ross argued. Ross tried to explain
that Blair wants him to take her to the wedding, and that he
didn't want to double cross Blair. Dorian insisted that there was
something else Ross wasn't telling, and pleaded with Ross to make sure Todd
marries Téa and stays far away from Blair. Ross handed the check back to
Dorian, who said she'd keep adding zeros and left the check with Ross.
Ross was clearly tempted. Blair and Ross headed out to the wedding but not
before Ross pocketed he check.
As Blair hobbled around looking for her shoe, Starr told Blair, "You are not
going to Dad's wedding." When Starr wondered if Téa knew that Blair would be
there, Blair told her daughter that she was never really a fan of Téa's.
"Really?" Starr asked. Starr begged her mother to let Todd and Téa have a
dull wedding with no surprises. Blair promised not to push Téa out a
window, and admitted it was difficult to see Todd moving on with someone
else. Starr assured her mom that she would find someone else. Jack said didn't want Téa as a stepmother. Blair told him he didn't have to
worry.
Téa tried to tell Todd something. "What's this big secret?” he asked.
Someone was at the door and that interrupted their discussion. Téa and Todd
headed home. Téa said that something happened after Todd left the island.
Todd didn't want to talk about it. "You can't do anything worse than I've
already done," Todd pointed out to a frustrated Téa. Téa started to talk about
Ross, and admitted that she had gone back to Ross. Todd understood. Téa
also admitted she had come back to Llanview for Todd. Todd insisted that they
stop talking about the past. Todd's kids arrived and Todd was delighted to
see them.
Marty came by Cole's with lots of groceries. Cole reported that Markko was a
good cook. Marty was stunned to learn that Todd was marrying Téa. "It could have been me," Marty marveled. Cole smiled when Marty
said that she was now with John. "It's official," she beamed.
Friday
While Jared and Brody, who were both recovering in the Llanfair living room
from their recent injuries, were talking about Jessica's stalker, Natalie
asked Jessica if John had been asking questions about Jared. She requested
that Jess not let John bully her around where Jared is concerned and shared
her suspicion that John thinks Jared is somehow involved. Meanwhile, Oliver
walked into John's office and asked if they could have a personal
conversation. John told his employee to sit down and relax. After checking
to make sure he was off duty, John poured them some whiskey and asked what
was up. Oliver hesitated to say what he was planning on saying, but John
told him whatever it is he probably already knows. "So you know that I'm
gay?" Oliver asked. John confessed that he'd had a run-in with Mr. Fish.
Layla returned home to find Cristian getting ready for Todd and Téa's
wedding. Cristian was not thrilled about going and suggested that she attend
it with him, since Carlotta is out of town. Layla was reluctant, pointing
out that it sounded too much like a date.
David arrived at La Boulaie for a brainstorming session with his new
employer and asked Dorian if he can live there while helping her out with
the campaign. Dorian agreed but only if David helps her get some dirt on
Viki. David suggested that he seduce Viki "tantric-style," but Dorian was
appalled that he would consider sleeping with Viki on her dime. Scratch that
idea: He'll keep surveillance cameras on Viki to catch her in the act of
doing something shady. Dorian loved it, but said the scheme would have to
wait until after the wedding.
Viki and Charlie learned that Jack drives a hard bargain when they heard his
demands for being the best man. Viki went to see Téa and noted that she
looks much more relaxed than she did hours earlier. Téa assured Viki that
she had taken care of what she needed to do. Charlie advised Jack that he
has to make a speech and say something nice about Todd's new wife. When Jack
said he knows she wears black panties, Charlie suggested he leave that part
out. Viki and Charlie helped Jack draft a speech, and were pretty impressed
with the end result.
Blair retrieved her date from the La Boulaie cabana and dragged him to the
site of Todd and Téa's wedding. Inside yet another cabana, Ross admitted to
Blair that he's having second thoughts about ruining Téa's big day, then
thought back to that check Dorian offered him. Téa started knocking on the
door, claiming she has that cabana signed out. Blair started moaning like
she was in the throes of passion and opened the door, asking Téa if she'd
missed the wedding. Téa's jaw dropped. Blair managed to distract Téa from
seeing Ross and steered her toward another cabana. Ross phoned Dorian to let
her know that he's still weighing her offer to take Blair away from the
reception. Dorian reminded him that Blair's happiness is on the line. Blair
hid out in the bushes while Todd told Starr and Jack that he loves Téa and
still cares about their mom, and will do his best to keep the peace.
Fish later returned to John's office with a report showing that no fibers
from another person had been found on Jared's clothing from the night of his
attack. When Fish asked if John has a theory about Jared, John told Fish
that it's too early to start coming up with theories about anyone, just as
Brody remarked to Jared that John McBain always gets his man.
As Téa walked down the aisle past a very small group of attendees, Ross asked Blair if she's absolutely certain about going through with their plan.
