One Life To Live Recaps

OLTL Week of October 25, 2010

Monday

Marty pointed out to Natalie that Brody was acting like he was her baby's father. Natalie changed the subject and explained that the girls — Starr and Hope — were still in the building. Marty began to panic about Cole, knowing he'd headed to the warehouse. Meanwhile, the warehouse exploded with Blair and Téa inside. A desperate Cole was for Starr when a falling wall knocked him out. Dani and Todd were also knocked out by the explosion but Todd quickly came to and carried an unconscious Dani to an ambulance.

John read Eli his rights and Brody asked where Téa was. "I have no idea," smirked Eli. John entered the building and found Cole, who begged to leave him under the fallen debris to go rescue Starr and Hope. Instead, John brought Cole out of the warehouse, then headed back in, with a determined Todd tagging along. Dani woke up and asked Natalie where her mom was; Natalie said she knows that Téa is alive. Dani confirmed that Téa was in the warehouse.

When Greg explained that he was Destiny's father, Destiny sobbed hysterically as she fell in her mom/grandmom's arms. Her grandparents assured her that she had always been wanted. "You've all lied to me my entire life," Des cried. Shaun yelled at Greg for the deception. "Who is my real mother? I think I deserve to know that much," Destiny asked Greg. "She wasn't my girlfriend, she was Shaun's," Greg finally confessed to a stunned Shaun and Destiny. Her name was Charlene. Shaun confirmed he'd loved Charlene and Shaun began to strangle Greg. Destiny asked where Charlene was now. "Charlene is dead," Greg said as Destiny ran off in tears. Greg admitted to his parents that he had killed Charlene.

Hannah told James that Todd was giving Eli the ransom money, and that she knew Starr and Hope were in the abandoned warehouse. James wanted her to come with him, but Hannah wanted to stay at Marty's house. James changed tactics and said he'd stay with Hannah. Hannah urged James to leave; instead he bombarded Hannah with questions about the necklace. Hannah played dumb, then produced the ball that Starr had written on for help. James demanded that Hannah tell him where Starr and Hope. "Take your hands off of me," she ordered, and explained that she had answered the phone when Starr had called. "How shocked was Starr when I was the one who showed up," Hannah said, pointing a pistol at James and insisting that Cole belongs to her now.

Starr tried to comfort Hope. "I miss daddy so much," she said, and managed to get a box out of the window.

Gigi shared with Cris that she didn't understand how artists painted nudes. "You have to see them as objects," he reminded her. At Gigi's urging Cris to call Layla, but all circuits were busy. Cris wondered if their relationship would survive.

The warehouse collapsed on John and Todd. When everyone ran to the building, Cole grabbed a gun out of the evidence box and shot Eli.

Tuesday

Cole shot Eli. Marty came on the scene and saw that Eli was dead. "He should be if Starr and Hope are," Cole said, then wept in his mother's arms. Marty worried that Cole would be accused of cold-blooded murder, and urged him to flee, promising to find him later. Natalie found Marty holding the gun. Marty said she shot Eli, and rattled off all of the things that Eli had done. "He killed my baby," she cried. Informed that Starr and Hope were never in the warehouse, Marty's eye widened. "I have to tell Cole," she said, and began to run off. Brody showed up and was furious to see that Eli was dead. He told Natalie about the additional explosion and she ran to the warehouse. Brody thought Marty did the world a favor by murdering Eli, but had to arrest her. Meanwhile, Cole returned home and cried into one of Starr's sweaters.

The box that Starr was trying to lift fell on James' head, knocking him out. Hannah, who was right behind him, laughed.Hannah said she had thought about killing James but she didn't want to deprive them of their sweet little reunion, "especially because it's going to be your last," she sneered. Starr begged Hannah to let them go. James woke up and was thrilled to see Starr, who started to cry in his arms. James tried to find a way out of the room, with no luck. Starr worried about what Cole was going through. James tended to Starr's twisted ankle. Hannah entered the room, gun trained on her captives, and demanded they get up. "It's time for us to go," she said ominously.

Natalie promised Dani they would do their best to find Téa. Dani told Natalie that Starr and Hope weren't in the warehouse. Nate showed up and promised to stay with Dani as Natalie ran to warehouse. Dani explained that Eli had wanted her with Ross from the beginning. Then she shared the news about her mom being alive, and hoped for another miracle.

Téa and Blair were covered in rubble in the warehouse but managed to stand up. Blair couldn't believe that Téa was alive. Téa explained that Greg had made her sick on purpose. Blair said that Eli had changed Téa's will, then she apologized for having dragged Eli into their lives.

Bo and Brody were outside the building wondering when it would be safe to enter. Bo knew that John and Todd were inside during the second explosion. Todd, also covered in rubble, called out for John. He found John unconscious and prepafed to give him mouth to mouth. "Don't even think about it, Manning," John said, opening his eyes. Todd helped John pop his shoulder back in, as John yelled in pain.

"Did you hear that?" Blair asked, hearing John's scream. John and Todd searched for an escape route. Blair tried to get Téa to focus on clearing out a spot, and they began moving rocks, closer to Todd and John than they realized.

Bo wasn't going to write off Starr, Hope, Todd or John, even after finding John's badge in the rubble. Natalie rushed to the warehouse. Bo didn't let her go any further, and showed her John's badge.

Today's episode was a re-broadcast. New episodes return Oct. 28.

Thursday

Hannah brought Starr and James to a graveyard dressed in Halloween costumes, and insisted they start digging. James refused. "You are digging your own graves," Hannah said with a laugh, waving her gun around. Starr and James donned their masks and dug. When Strangers (one dressed as a cop) approached the group Starr begged them to help her, but they thought it was gag and left. Hannah told Hope that she'd be her new mommy. James rattled Hannah by saying Ford and Langston know where they are. When Hannah grew hysterical, Starr assured her that they wouldn't tell on her. James tried to grab the gun but Hannah yanked the weapon and whacked James with it, knocking him out cold, then ordered Starr to bury him alive or Hope would die. Starr began shoveling dirt on James.

Brody brought Marty into the precinct, where Nora was stunned to hear that Marty had confessed to shooting Eli. Marty was desperate to reach Cole to tell him Starr and Hope hadn't perished in the explosion. When she was able to reach him, Cole was shocked. Marty forbade Cole to come to the station; Natalie overheard Marty tell her son not to say anything to anyone.

Langston visited Ford in the hospital, where doctor revealed Ford had been badly beaten and had internal injuries.

At the precinct, Inez told Clint that Danielle was safe and Nate was with her. She was grateful for what he had done for her family. Langston placed a call to the police and Inez picked up. Langston reported that Robert Ford was beaten, which freaked out Inez. She and Clint showed up at the hospital, where Ford claimed that a stranger had attacked him. "That happens," said Clint.

Natalie waited outside the warehouse with Bo, was certain John wasn't dead. "He wouldn't die like this. He couldn't," she said frantically, then clutched her pregnant stomach.Bo begged Natalie to get out of the smoke asap. He and Nat returned to the station, and Bo got a call that the building imploded and the fire department was calling off the search. Bo couldn't believe that Marty would shoot Eli in cold blood. "Maybe she just snapped," Bo guessed. Nora thought something was wrong. She wanted to hold off on charging Marty with murder, but Bo said they had to go by the book.

Meanwhile, in the dark warehouse, John and Todd were trapped in the tunnel. Todd yelled for Starr. Téa yelled hello back to Todd, but they didn't recognize each other's voices. John and Todd began to push the wall. "Do you really think we'll find them?" Todd asked. John told Todd that Téa was alive, and might be in the warehouse. Todd began digging frantically and one of the walls came down. They rescued Blair, then Todd made eye contact with Téa.

Brody assured Natalie that John was alive. Marty saw Brody and Natalie hug and wondered what that was about. Natalie pulled away and told Brody that Marty suspects something about the baby.

Bo informed Nora that Téa wasn't dead and that she never had a brain tumor. "Is that why Natalie was reading her obituary?" asked a disbelieving Nora, who gave Marty the phone number of the best defense attorney in town. "I'll try to make this as easy as I can," Nora promised. Natalie asked Marty why Cole's fingerprint was on the trigger. Meanwhile, as Cole wondered where Starr might be, Langston came to the door and told him that she thinks Hannah has Starr and Hope.

Inez called Bo and told him that James was missing. Bo sent Brody to Marty's house to find James and pick up Hannah. Clint figured James' phone was just dead. Brody told Inez that James was missing and peppered her with questions. Clint tried to comfort an upset Inez, who worried that Hannah might hurt James. Clint hugged Inez and made eye contact through the glass window with Ford. Neither blinked.

Friday

As Todd and Téa were reunited in the rubble, Blair told John that Starr and Hope had escaped from Eli. Todd assured Téa that Dani was fine. "I never gave up on you," Téa said. Suddenly the building moved and Todd was trapped, but John rescued him before the rest of the building collapsed. Bo informed Blair that Eli was dead.

Hannah ordered Starr to stop worrying about James and focus on Hope. Given a moment to say goodbye to her baby, Starr started to cry. Hannah broke them up and said it was time for Starr to go. "Tell Cole that I love him," Starr said through tears. When Hannah forced Starr into the grave, James' hand came out of the dirt grabbed Hannah's leg! Starr jumped out and James tied up Hannah. The police arrived to take Hannah away, and a grateful Starr kissed James goodbye.

Gigi arrived at Viki's to pick up Shane, when Rex arrived home from New Mexico. Rex told Viki about the necklace, and said that he had found the other half in Echo's things. "Maybe she knew my dad," Rex suggested. Echo was up to something, Viki insisted.

Clint ran into Echo at the hospital and she showed him the half heart necklace. "Do you remember this?" she asked, reminding him that he'd bought her the necklace way back when. "Why did you keep a trinket I gave you?" an irritated Clint demanded to know. "Because it's special to me," Echo replied, saying she was looking for the other half of the necklace at Llanview hospital. "That's not the only precious thing I left behind," she teased. Afterward, Clint met a strange man in the hall. "Did you get it done?" Clint asked. The man, who'd been to New Mexico, gave Clint the other half of the necklace. Viki invited Echo over and brought her in to see Rex, who showed Echo the photo of the necklace. Echo was speechless.

Natalie wondered how Cole's fingerprints ended up on the gun that shot Eli. Marty insisted that she pulled the trigger. Natalie was certain Marty was covering for Cole. Marty pleaded with her not to report it. "This will be Cole's third felony. They will give me a much lighter sentence," she explained. "Marty reminded Natalie that many people had covered up for her when she stabbed Mitch. "The evidence is already in the system. You are asking me to tamper with evidence," Natalie said. John arrived and asked Marty, "Did you kill him?"

Langston told Cole that James figured out tHannah has Starr and Hope. Cole let Langston know that Eli was dead, but didn't share the part about him shooting Eli. "Hannah wants to have you," Langston informed to Cole. "Why didn't I see this coming," Cole agonized. "What is wrong with me?" Later, as he paced around the apartment, Starr and Hope came home and Hope ran into her father's arms.
