One Life To Live Recaps

OLTL Week of November 22, 2010

Monday

Todd gave Marty a court order to keep her away from Hope. "Why are you doing this?" a stunned Marty asked. Todd explained that he blamed Marty for the damage Hannah caused. Marty said she wouldn't let Todd take Hope. "I've learned to fight back," she declared angrily.

John stopped Marty from trying to contact Starr, explaining that Todd wanted her to cause trouble. John promised to be her friend. As Brody and Jessica prepared to open the paternity report, Brody reminded Jessica that he'd marry her and love her for better or worse. Jessica was deeply touched. They decided to wait to find out the baby's sex but studied the results for the paternity information and were over the moon when it named Brody the match.

John caught Natalie in the hospital and wondered why she was there. Natalie lied that the aminio results were in, and stopped John from examining the paperwork too closely. "I can't remember being this happy," John told Natalie. After he left, Natalie frantically looked for the paternity results and the man named as her baby's father was...Brody.

Rex began to read his personal DNA report. "I'm your mother," Echo said enthusiastically. When Echo said she wanted to be a part of his life, Rex said he guessed it would be okay, but was eager to find out who his dad was. Clint was relieved when Rex announced Charlie was his dad. Viki walked Clint out and wondered what just happened in there. "You and Dorian were wrong," Clint insisted. Charlie thought it was a small miracle.

Ford didn't know what to say when Langston said they wouldn't be having sex. "Sex was all we had before," Langston reminded him, and wondered if it would be a problem for Ford if they never had sex. "Is that even physically possible?" Ford wondered, and wanted definitions for the words "sex" and "forever." Langston laughed and said she was thinking about holding off of sex for six months. Ford got a call from Jessica with the news that her baby was Brody's. He was happy for Jessica but a little disappointed, admitting he might like to be a dad someday. Ford agreed to Langston's terms, saying she was worth it.

Vimal ran into Matthew and Matthew wondered why there was a Llanview Hospital key card in the envelope Matthew had gotten from Clint. Clint came to the office and after Matthew left, Vimal explained that someone had seen him in the lab: Marty, who'd needed to print out something. Vimal confirmed he had changed Rex's paternity tests as well as the ones belong to Clint's two daughters.

Tuesday

Devastated to read that Brody was her baby's father, Natalie showed the test results to Gigi. "I lied to you and to Brody," Natalie wept. Gigi pointed out that she had lied about Shane's paternity, and said she'd keep Natalie's secret. They shook on it. Brody walked in and wondered what was going on. "Everything is working out just great," Brody smiled. After he left, Natalie looked sick, and burned the test results in the fireplace.

Vimal assured Clint that he'd changed the name of the father of his daughter's baby to Brody Lovett. Enter Brody, who was introduced to Vimal. Clint said the baby news made him the happiest man in the world.

Knowing Brody was the father of Natalie's baby, Marty recommitted to destroying Natalie. "I guess it's up to me," Marty said with a smirk on her face. "It's time for John to get a very special gift...." Then she began putting a package together for John, imagining what his reaction would be when he opened the box with the DNA report inside.

John called Natalie and wanted her to come by to say goodbye. John told Natalie about Roxy's conversation about Marty and that Marty has dirty tricks up her sleeve. Marty approached John's door. She got a call from the prison. Cole had been in a fight. Marty ran off. John Told Natalie that he's not afraid of what Marty might do.

Charlie suggested that he, Echo and Rex have lunch. When Viki told Dorian that Rex was Charlie's son, Dorian didn't believe her. Dorian warned Viki not to let Echo get close to Charlie. "No one is going to come between Charlie and me," Viki vowed.

Matthew told his parents he was going to BE; he'd do his history paper later. When Bo complained he didn't want an internship to turn into a full time job, Nora thought Bo didn't like Matthew spending all this time with Clint.

At the diner, Rex introduced his new parents Echo and Charlie to Bo and Nora. Rex asked Bo if Echo was really as bad as everyone said. (Cue Bo/Echo vintage flashback.) Echo was embarrassed that the restaurant turned down her credit card. Charlie stepped in and paid for coffee. Roxy showed up and Rex told her that Echo and Charlie are his parents. Rex pulled Roxy away and tried to explain that Lily was a scam. "My head is spinning," Rex added, promising that Roxy was still his mother. Roxy stormed off.

Vimal entered the diner and made eye contact with Matthew, who recalled a conversation with Vimal about the Llanview Hospital key card. Putting 2 and 2 together, Matthew asked Vimal about the key card and the lab. Vimal told Matthew to forget all about that. Matthew showed up in Clint's office and brought up Rex being Charlie's son. "One less Buchanan to share the family fortune," Clint said. Matthew had lots of questions about DNA testing and wondered if there could ever be a mistake in the results. Clint suggested that Matthew do some DNA research online.

Roxy confronted Echo about the Rex situation, and kicked her out of the motel when she couldn't cough up the fee. Echo arrived at Viki's door with her suitcase. "Chuckles, I'm homeless," Echo said.

Brody poked around in the fireplace, where Natalie had burned her paternity report.

Wednesday

Nevil welcomed Kelly and Kevin home to the house in London and told a delighted Kelly that "Master Joseph was on his way home." Kelly admitted to Kevin she had never gotten over Joey. Nevil clarified that the "home" Joey was returning to was Llanview.

As Dorian rushed into Viki's living room with news that Echo had been kicked out of the hotel, a robe clad Echo descended the stairs. "What's going on?" Dorian demanded to know, and told Viki they needed to find out about Rex...just as he entered with Gigi and Shane. Charlie introduced Echo all around. Echo chatted with Gigi and the two exchanged barbs. Viki was stunned at Charlie's suggestion that Echo move in with them permanently, then filled with joy when Joey walked in.

Back from a fundraising race, Brody asked Natalie what was wrong. She got off the phone with John, who was in Seattle with Marcie and Michael, and told Brody that she just feels tired.

Ford and James also returned from the same 10K race to find Eddie, who and asked James about the 50K they still owe him and wanted to know where they were taking him for dinner. Ford and James split for Dorian's. Uninvited Eddie crashed the party and started insulting the Cramer women. When Ford offered to toss him out, he punched James. Dorian called the police.

Cris reminded Blair that she still had Eli's box to open.

Inez and Nate arrived at Clint's for Thanksgiving. Bo and Nora came with Matthew, who wasn't happy Nate was there. Clint asked Nora if she was worried about "Bo and his assistant," but Nora insisted nothing was going on between them. Matthew and Nate got into a scuffle and Nate stormed out. Bo offered to talk to Nate, which made Nora to wonder what was going on.

Clint demanded to know why Inez wasn't accepting his necklace. Inez explained she wasn't ready to sleep with him. It's his brother she's supposed to sleep with, clarified Clint.

When Bo and Brody showed up at Dorian's to arrest Eddie, Dorian accused Eddie of brutally attacking James. Bo arrested Eddie, whowarned James, "You are going to pay for this." Ford said he would never forgive himself for leaving James with Eddie. James worried to Starr that Eddie would never let him go. "It's useless," he said sadly. "You are wonderful," she replied with a hug.

Dani was thrilled when Destiny showed up at Todd's door. Destiny wanted Téa's help in divorcing her from her lying parents. Nate also showed up, much to Dani's delight.

Téa asked Todd to explain a restraining order against Marty Saybrooke, and was horrified to learn that Todd had tricked Starr into signing it. Todd explained that he wanted "that idiot Nate" to be out of Dani's life ...at the exact moment that Nate, Destiny and Dani entered the room. "Nice, dad," said Dani. Todd apologized for being a possessive father. "Don't make me regret coming back from the dead," Téa quipped. Nate accepted Todd's apology.
