Monday
Langston was still shocked that Dorian would want to take her in as a foster
child. Starr believed that Dorian likes to feel needed. The girls lamented
no longer being in school together. After, the girls and Markko discussed
Marcie running off with Starr's brother. Michael approached them and asked
Starr if she'd heard from her father.... Michael admitted to Roxy that he
was arrested for perjury. He wondered if Roxy had heard from Marcie. He
regretted that Marcie hadn't accepted joint custody with Todd.. Starr
blasted Langston when Langston said that she felt sorry for Marcie. Starr
explained that she's sick of the adults in her life breaking the law for
their own convenience. Langston apologized and said they were now like sisters. They wondered where Cole was.
Meantime, at home, Cole spied a leftover from the set of Scream, as a shady
figure wearing a skeleton mask approached him. Cole went to call the cops,
but the phone was disconnected. The figure then pointed a gun at Cole and
had Cole answer his cell phone. It was Starr. Cole lied that his computer
crashed and he had to rewrite his history report. Later, the figure injected
Cole with a needle and dragged his unconscious body away.
At Dreamland, Alex told David that Asa had enough money to go "from the
Earth to the moon and back." She then told David that her therapist
instructed her to make amends with David. To do so, she gave him a hundred
dollar bill. David accepted, but was puzzled. Alex then revealed that her
sex addiction began while she was in the Hamptons. She then started coming on
to David, but abruptly stopped. "No more sex," she told herself. "Ever?" a
horrified David replied. He offered to help her deal with her "problem."
David called himself an empty vessel and insisted that they're made for each
other. "You and all that money," he cooed. "Me and my encyclopedic knowledge
of the Kama Sutra." "I musn't," Alex cried. "I can't!" She was determined to
become a virgin again. Yeah, good luck with that! Alex said she won't be
with a man unless she's married to him. David — a little reluctantly mdash; proposed to her. Alex was thrilled.
Todd, John, Blair and Marty continued their hunt for an MIA Marcie.
Meanwhile, Marcie managed to hitch a ride out of New Orleans, coming right
near the foursome who were on the Interstate in a broken down vehicle.
Marcie's driver offered to help fix the vehicle. Todd's interest was piqued
when the driver mentioned that he was with his friend "Penny." Marcie and
Tommy hid in the bushes. Todd showed the driver Marcie's picture. The driver
lied that Penny is his dog and he hadn't seen that woman.... Back in
Llanview, Roxy urged Michael to take care of himself and be strong for
Marcie.... The driver got rid of the foursome by sending them to a gas
station. A shaken Marcie thanked the driver for lying for her. He told her
to do whatever she has to do for her son. After, Marcie found John's cell
phone on the ground. It was Michael. She explained to the driver that the
call was from someone she loves, but she couldn't say where she is or going.
Her new friend held her as she cried.
In the Texas diner, Charlie asked Viki out, but she refused, explaining that
she's enjoying the single life. Gigi arrived late and explained that her son
had had a medical emergency. Viki couldn't believe that Gigi didn't have
health benefits. She offered to give Gigi money, but the waitress turned her
down. Gigi then encouraged Viki to give Charlie a chance. Viki explained
that she might never see the man again. Gigi replied that there's nothing
wrong with having one good evening with a nice man.
Todd, John, Marty and Blair got a room in a seedy motel. Marty was pleased
upon learning they'd have to share beds.
Tuesday
Todd and Co. were not happy to hear that there was only one room available
at the hotel. John offered to sleep on the floor so that the ladies could
sleep in the bed, but Todd successfully bribed another patron to give up his
room. After a brief spat with John, Todd chose to share his room with Blair,
leaving John and Marty alone. As Blair and Todd got settled in their room,
Blair wondered if Todd was even grateful for her coming to bail him out.
Todd was concerned about Jack, who’d sent 10 text messages while in the care
of Dorian, and wondered if this whole trip is even worth the problems it’s
causing at home. Blair urged Todd to stay on the hunt for Marcie so that he
can bring home Starr and Jack’s baby brother. Todd was buoyed by a call from
Starr, encouraging him to have faith. Starr then told Blair that Dorian had
applied to be Langston’s foster mother in her place. Todd asked Blair why
she was talking to Starr about Child Protective Services, so Blair explained
that Langston didn’t have parents and now she wouldn’t have them as parents,
either, thanks to Todd’s bar brawl. Todd was surprised to hear that Blair
had volunteered them as foster parents, but was impressed by her generosity.
Meanwhile, Marty assured a doubtful John that he was doing the right thing
by going on this trip, but he admitted that he’d seen Marcie in Georgia and
didn’t say anything to Todd or the authorities. John explained that he felt
Ramsey’s tactics were dangerous and that Ramsey was involved in the case
only to stick it to John. Turns out Ramsey was once in love with John’s
fiance, Caitlin, and blames John for her death. John feared that Marcie
could be in danger, too, and vowed to let her go if and when they find
Tommy.
At the coffee shop, Starr called Cole and seemed anxious that she hadn’t
heard from him. Dorian arrived and informed Starr that with a new family
member coming to their home, some changes would have to me made, like
enacting a curfew. Starr saw right through Dorian and sensed that something
else troubling her — perhaps Clint? After some prodding on Starr’s
part, Dorian admitted that she and Clint recently had a disagreement because
she was spending so much time worrying about Langston, but it’s nothing she
can’t fix when he returns.
Renee was touched upon seeing the old ranch again, and picked up a nearby
framed photo of her and Asa. “We’re here, Asa. We’re home,” she said aloud.
Meanwhile, Natalie complained about Sarah bringing Jared to join them. Clint
told her to act like a grown-up and respect Renee. Natalie promised she
would, but kept an eye on Jared as he talked to Sarah. Nora and Matthew
looked at a photo of Asa’s old pal and right-hand man, Chuck Wilson, just as
a younger version stepped in and greeted everyone. Renee introduced him as
Chuck Wilson III. Natalie was impressed with the young man’s charm and
looks, and appeared to catch his eye as well. Chuck recognized Nora from a
photo of her and Clint dancing, but she chuckled and corrected him: That was
her and Bo dancing in the photo. Clint introduced Chuck to his
grandchildren, and the ranch hand immediately offered to take Natalie on a
moonlit stroll. Natalie was interested, but said she’d wait until morning.
Everyone was sleepy and decided to retire for the evening. Jessica gave
Renee a hug and told her to keep her chin up. Renee showed Jared to his
room.
After everyone went to bed, Jessica visited Natalie’s room and encouraged
her to come up with an excuse to see Chuck again. When Natalie said she
wasn’t interested, Jessica accused her of having someone else on the brain.
Natalie thought back to Jared kissing her but insisted that her sis was
wrong. Meanwhile, Nora ran into Clint in the living room. Both had stayed up
to do some work. Clint admitted he was working because he needed a
distraction — from missing Asa and battling Sarah and Natalie. When
Clint went off to make a pot of coffee, his cell phone went off, so Nora
answered it and shocked Dorian by telling her that Clint was just making a
pot of coffee for them. Meanwhile, Todd thanked Blair for standing by him.
“That’s what really good wives do,” she told him, and they came together in
a kiss. Across the hall, Marty confided to John that she was keeping a
horrible secret from Cole: Patrick was murdered.
Wednesday
Adriana tried to seduce Rex, but he wanted to go back to sleep. He was
clearly affected by the possibility of Adriana being pregnant. "I can't go
on like it's just business as usual,"he cried, prompting Adriana to ask what
was wrong. "I don't want to hurt the baby,"he admitted. Adriana was shocked
to hear that Rex thought she was pregnant. Rex explained that all the clues
pointed in that direction — the phone call to the gynecologist, her
not drinking at Capricorn and saying that she wasn't feeling well. Adriana
started to laugh and explained that she wasn't pregnant and she was just
researching for a new maternity line. Rex seemed relieved. They agreed that
they wanted to have kids someday but until then, they'd practice. And so
they did.
At Asa's ranch, Nora admitted to Clint that she'd intercepted Dorian's call.
Nora apologized for meddling, but reminded Clint that Dorian should really
be there with him. Clint called Dorian back to clear up the situation, but
Dorian didn't answer. Meanwhile, Jared found Natalie outside her room
— dressed in a black teddy — and said he was right where he
wanted to be. Natalie imagined a steamy make-out session with him against
the wall, but brought herself back to reality and listened as he explained
that he wanted to call a truce. He apologized for upsetting her with their
kiss but pointed out that she wanted him to kiss her. Jared was about to
kiss her again when Chuck came in with a blanket for Natalie, who insisted
that Jared was there because he got lost on his way back to his room. As
Jared whispered that it was her loss, Chuck gave Natalie an up-and-down
glance. Jared wandered downstairs and overheard Clint and Nora talking about
him being a "smooth operator." Nigel caught him eavesdropping and asked if
there was anything he could do for him. He directed Jared toward his room,
just as Natalie asked Chuck if he was sure he wanted to do something.
Alex invited David to join him for a sunset, but he was bitter that she
hadn't yet accepted his marriage proposal. She said she was flattered by his
offer, but she didn't take it seriously and really needed to focus on
recovering from her sex addiction. David insisted that he was great in bed
and gave her a little sugar on the chaise lounge, but stopped, saying he
couldn't go any further until they were married. But Alex was playing him
like a fiddle, pointing out her concern that he just wanted to marry her for
her money. David was "shocked and appalled" to hear her suggest it, but she
reminded him that the women he'd proposed to before her were rich, too. Alex
was surprised to hear that David had extorted $10 million from Clint but
gave it back because of the virtuous Viki. He insisted that his desire to be
with women for their money was cured, then began to tempt her with a little
massage. "Who knows? Maybe you're after my money," he joked, prompting Alex
to recall Nigel spilling the secret about David to Max. David insisted that
he wanted her for her, so Alex suggested a prenuptial agreement, given that
he's a "penniless masseur.” When David scoffed at the prenup, Alex enticed
him with half of her assets.
Marty confessed to John that she hadn't told anyone about Patrick's murder
and needed him to keep her secret. She suggested that their journey to "dark
places" had brought them together. John told her she could be honest, so she
explained that people started making threats toward Patrick when he was
working at the university. When these people started bothering Cole and
Marty, Patrick decided to go to Ireland to deal with the situation. Marty
recalled that they made love the night he left, then he headed to Ireland
and called to say that everything would be all right. While they were on the
phone, she heard a noise on the other end. Patrick had fired a shot at an
attacker, and a friend came to Marty's house the next day to say that
Patrick was dead. She admitted that she never thought she'd love somebody
again but then she met John. They bonded over their respective losses. She
said she wanted to love again. They began to passionately kiss and rolled
onto the bed.
Across the hall, Blair and Todd were devouring each other. "Do we really
want to do this?" she asked him. "I don't know, do we?" he replied. They
continued to kiss but finally parted and laughed at what they were or
weren't doing in a no-tell motel room. She reminded him that he paid her to
help get his son back. He returned from a cold shower still all hot and
bothered. Same for Blair, who was very inviting in a nightie, but they
agreed to hold off on sex. As they fell asleep, he held her hand and said he
was glad she was there.
Thursday
Cristian was surprised to see a glamorous-looking Sarah at his door. She said she missed him and they were soon making out on a nearby table, but a knock at the door roused a dreaming Cristian. In Texas, the Buchanans convened and realized that Natalie, Jared and Sarah are all missing. Meanwhile, Jared was lurking around the halls and found Natalie — rolling around in the sack with Chuck. Sarah joined the others for breakfast and said she enjoyed a walk around the property. Everyone was curious about Asa's will, since there had been some changes close to his death. Jessica told Nash that she was trying to set up Natalie and Chuck, while Jared wasn't too pleased to find them in bed together. Natalie scolded Jared for barging in (the door was open). Jared stormed out, and Chuck responded that if she wanted to make Jared mad, mission accomplished. Natalie was grateful for Chuck's help, but Chuck wanted to know what was really going on. Natalie explained that Jared was always telling her what to do and she just wanted to put him in his place. In the great room, a colorful character named Cleavis aka Beaver arrived and informed everyone that this would be no ordinary will reading.
Over breakfast, Marcie thanked Celia and Wendell for getting her out of a jam when they ran into John and Todd. The best way for her to thank them would be to leave, Wendell suggested. For her own sake, she needs to keep going, he explained. She refused to take their money, and assured them that Eric had given her enough. To thank Celia, Marcie gave her a bracelet that was a gift from Michael. Wendell implied that he might let John and Todd's car take a long time to fix so that Marcie could get a head start. Later, Ramsey and the feds showed up at Wendell's flashing a photo of Marcie.
Todd woke up with Blair's arm across him and announced that it felt like a good day, perhaps the day he'll find his son. Blair wanted Todd to make her a pot of coffee, but he was ready to get going. Meanwhile, John asked a waking Marty if she was okay with everything that happened between them the night before. "I'm more than okay," she answered. After a shower, Marty was enjoying some coffee when Todd and Blair walked in. Blair noted that Marty didn't look like she did much sleeping the night before. Todd made a call to Wendell, just as Ramsey was grilling him and Celia about Marcie. Wendell said he'd bring the car over to the hotel, but something made John insist on picking up the car — by himself. Blair then left Todd alone with Marty and went to get some coffee. Todd gave Marty a creepy look as he said, "Here we are." Meanwhile, John showed up at Wendell's. Ramsey answered the door and told John he was too late.
At St. Ann's, Bo brought a beaming Lindsay flowers and apologized for not visiting sooner. She was grateful for his presence and explained that the details of the last few months are pretty fuzzy. He assured Lindsay he wasn't there to question her and that this was purely a social visit. During their visit, Matthew called to say that Beaver was going to deliver the will reading. Lindsay wondered why Bo isn't in Texas with Matthew and the rest of his family. Bo admitted that he had some issues with Asa before he died and didn't want Asa to jerk his chain one last time. It also wasn't a good time to leave, considering the last time he went to Texas, Lindsay ended up in St. Ann's. Lindsay didn't want to be the reason Bo stayed away from Texas, but he assured her that he was right where he wanted to be.
Cristian asked Antonio, who was the one that woke him, how Jamie was doing. Antonio said she was missing Jessica and the baby, while he was trying not to. Antonio wondered why Cristian was working so hard at Capricorn when he could be painting. Cristian started to complain about all the crap Sarah put him through when she was living there, like playing cool music too loud on the stereo and filling the fridge with food. "You miss her, don't you?" Antonio suggested. Cristian admitted it was nice having someone around. Antonio advised his brother to tell Sarah how he feels if he really likes her, but Cristian confessed that he'd missed his chance. He explained that he'd had some reservations about moving on because of Evangeline's coma, and then sketchy Jared swooped in. Cris changed the subject by asking Antonio about his love life, which sent him running for the door. After Antonio was gone, Cris called Sarah and left her a voicemail, just as Sarah was waiting around with everyone to hear about the will. Beaver explained that an associate was reading the will to Kevin, Cord and Joey, while the Texas will reading would come from Asa himself.

Friday
In Louisiana, Marty and Todd attempted to talk their way through an awkward moment alone in the motel room. "I don't want to be here in your little love nest," Todd sneered. Marty remarked that she didn't want him there either, but since they were they might as well try to be friendly, you know, for Cole and Starr's sake. Todd admitted he wanted to keep Starr happy — and if Cole did the trick, then so be it — but that didn't mean he had to be chummy with Marty. Marty said Todd was a good father; Todd said he was determined to find Tommy because "someone did to me what I did to you." Marty immediately regretted mentioning that she thought Miles might be after her and brushed off Todd's concern when he surmised that Miles was probably going after his family, too.
John arrived at Wendell's place, saying he was there to pick up his car. Ramsey, who'd already arrived to sniff out Marcie, advised John to leave but he wouldn't budge. Wendell was confused that the men knew each other at all. Ramsey and his entourage departed after a veiled threat from John, but warned McBain to back off. Once outside, Ramsey asked one of his men to put a tracking device on John's car, hoping any info he got from the Freeman's would lead them right to Marcie and Tommy. John stuck around for a cup of coffee, then asked them to dish about Penny/Marcie's whereabouts. They played dumb at first but after a little prodding, Celia admitted that Marcie might be on her way to Paris.
At the diner in Paris, Noelle and Gigi excitedly ushered Viki out the door so she could get ready for her big date with Charlie. A while later, Vik returned wearing a dowdy (or rather, very Buchanan-esque) outfit. Gigi and Noelle sighed, told Viki she wasn't dressed sexy enough, then pulled her into the kitchen to slather her face with makeup and unbutton the top button of her shirt. Viki bristled at the fussing, saying it was just a simple date, but then Charlie arrived all gussied up, bearing a bouquet of flowers. Gigi grinned and watched as duo left for their date. Later, Marcie (donning a new Texas-style wig) walked in with little Tommy and took a seat.
At Dreamland, David and Alex stood together in front of the judge/ordained minister, who was excited to marry them later that day. After confirming that the wedding would indeed be legal, Alex pulled out the prenup and David quickly signed. They agreed it was only fair for both of them to split their resources. "If I only had them," David snickered. They kissed, smiled and parted ways, uttering "Sucker!" under their breaths to each other on the way out. Later, David stood at the altar while Alex walked down the aisle to a blazing electric guitar solo of the Wedding March. They happily exchanged vows, promising to love each other in "richer and richer" (ha!) and were pronounced husband and wife. Outfitted in matching Bride and Groom track suits, the newlyweds pondered which exotic places they should visit for their honeymoon. When Alex suggested Llanview David was confused, but smiled when she cooed that it was just on the way....
At the ranch, the Buchanan clan gathered around to watch the DVD of Asa's will. Nora clutched a tearful Renee's hand as Asa (Hello again Phil Carey!) swirled his scotch and smiled, "Everyone's gonna get what's coming to 'em. " The smaller, sentimental gifts were addressed first. For the girls: Renee received the jewel; Jessica was given an old horseshoe; Natalie got a copy of the Buchanan family tree; and Sarah received an old record player. The boys (who Asa deemed both his greatest achievement and biggest disappointment) followed: Clint was given a pair of gold spurs; Bo received sheriff's badge from his great-great grandfather; Matthew got Asa's Stetson hat (which Beaver pointed out wasn't among Asa's personal affects, but Matthew explained Bo'd already given it to him before). Next up were the big ticket items. Asa decided to leave the ranch to Chuck (!) who he deemed a "trusted and loyal member of the family." Chuck refused the offer at first, but the family all agreed that he fully deserved the ranch.
As for the house in Llanview, Nora was both shocked and surprised that Asa gave it to her. "Pack your bags!" Natalie ribbed Jared. Asa explained that Renee and Nigel would stay at the house, too. Renee was understanding, knowing Asa didn't want her to be alone in such a big house. Clint surmised his pop had more surprises to share and they continued watching the DVD. Before getting on to the financial part of the will, Asa gave one last shout out to his son, "The one I didn't know I had until it was too late," he added. Everyone looked at each other quizzically, while Nigel sighed and braced himself for the reveal of the biggest Buchanan family secret yet....
Starr pounded on the door and called Cole's cell phone, but he didn't answer. Markko and Langston tried to reason with her about why Cole hadn't resurfaced but it didn't work. She freaked when she found Cole's phone and realized he'd missed all her calls. Then she found the Scream mask on the floor in the hall. Starr panicked and phoned Marty from Cole's phone, hoping she'd have some answers but someone grabbed Marty from behind before she answered. Marty shrieked in horror and was dragged away.
