One Life To Live Recaps

OLTL Week of May 25, 2009

Monday

Today's episode was a repeat of the March 9, 2009 episode when Cole and Matthew crash Cole's car into Shane and Gigi's.

Tuesday

Todd sat in the hospital waiting for an update on Tea's condition. Blair
showed up and gave him a big hug. "Powell was insane, Todd,"
Blair said. They began to smile when they remembered that their
granddaughter was alive. "I cannot wait to see her," Blair beamed. "I did
deserve to lose her," Todd said berating himself. Blair said he wasn't the
blame for everything. Todd and Blair hugged again after learning that Tea
would be okay.

Schuyler showed up at Gigi's wanting to talk about Stacy. He explained that
Stacy had always been obsessed with this other guy. Gigi was aware that
Stacy was "obsessed with my son's father." Schuyler explained that he had
kicked Stacy out. Schuyler asked Gigi what deal Stacy cut for giving the
stem cells to Shane. "She held your son's life over your head," Schuyler
said. "So what if she did," Gigi replied eyes filling with tears. Gigi tried
to explain her deal with God. Gigi explained that she had to stay away from
Rex until Shane went into remission. "Gigi I am almost 100 percent positive
that Stacy did not save your son," Schuyler declared. Gigi looked stunned.
Schuyler repeated that he didn't think Stacy's stem cells saved Shane.
Gigi's mouth fell open.

Jared and Natalie were very worried about how far Bess would have gone.
Natalie kept beating up on herself for the decisions she had made regarding
Chloe. Charlie comforted Natalie and Jared and Natalie admitted they had
gotten married last night. Charlie had big hugs for them both. Brody, Clint
and Viki returned to the house. Brody was upset that he had lost Jessica
when he had gotten her on the line. "I have to get her back," Brody declared
to Charlie.

Bo, Clint, Brody and Viki brainstormed about places Bess might have gone
with Chloe. Bo thought Brody might be their best bet as he was the only one
who had managed to get Jessica out. Brody placed a call to Jessica. Viki
explained that "We don't know if there are other personalities, one that
could be far more dangerous," she said nervously. Bo said he would send out
another Amber Alert. Bo promised Clint and Viki that he'd make sure his men
would be gentle when and if they found Jessica/Tess/Bess.

Bo watched as Clint and Nora kissed. "It's all good," Nora assured him. Bo
wondered what Nora wasn't saying. "We're engaged," she admitted. Bo
congratulated her rather awkwardly.

Bess, now wearing a black wig, kept driving. "We must make sure no one ever
finds us," Bess said to Chloe. Bess threw Jessica's cell phone out the car
window. She continued to explain her plan to the baby and then saw Tess
sitting in the backseat. "Jessica can't suffer the loss of her baby," Bess
told Tess firmly. Tess tried to get Jessica out. Bess blamed Tess for the
death of Jessica's baby. Tess pointed out that everyone would be looking for
Bess and Chloe and there was no way Bess could support a baby. Bess declared
that Todd Manning (and the entire family) would be looking for Chloe. "Do
you really know how to love this baby?" Tess asked Bess pointedly.

Kyle threatened to blackmail Stacy if she didn't come up with his bail
money. Stacy dove into her suitcase and took out wads of money. A shirtless
Rex asked her where she was going. Stacy lied with the story that she was
going on a job interview. Stan show up for the money that Stacy owed him.
"Stacy Morasco is a liar and a thief," he said. Stan explained that Stacy
had robbed him of $20,000. Rex wanted him to leave. Rex began to call Bo.
"No cops," Stan said and he left

Stacy bailed Kyle out of jail. Stacy came home. Rex told Stacy that Stan had
come by. "He swears that he's your old boss and that you stole money from
him. Does that ring a bell?" Rex asked.

Wednesday

Rex caught Stacy in a lie about Stan. "You do know him," Rex stated. "I
admit it. I lied. I lied about everything," Stacy said. Stacy claimed she
just took back what was rightfully hers. "He's my old boss from Vegas,"
Stacy admitted. Rex wanted to call the police but Stacy stopped him. "This
guy Stan is no joke," Rex tried to convince Stacy. "He's connected," Stacy
explained. Rex thought they could give the money back. Stacy remembered that
she had used the money to bail out Kyle. "It was stolen," Stacy lied. Rex
asked Stacy to explain what happened. Stacy thought the thief had a drug
problem and went on to describe Schuyler to a T.

Schuyler tried to explain to Gigi how Stacy might have switched the stem
cells. "Why are you saying all this?" Gigi asked. Schuyler explained that he
had seen Stacy throw her blood away. Gigi was incredulous, especially when
he explained that he had held on to Stacy's blood. "Prove to me you're not
making this up," Gigi begged. Gigi couldn't process all the information. "If
this is true then I don't have to lie to Rex anymore. Rex is the love of my
life," she said. Gigi told Schuyler that she had made a promise to God. Gigi
explained that Shane had had a few scares which is why she hadn't blown
Stacy's scam to Rex a long time ago. Stacy began to call Rex but Schuyler
said they should have evidence first. "I want my life back," Gigi said to
the heavens. Schuyler thought Stacy's obsession with Rex was bad for Stacy.
Gigi said once they got the evidence, she would go straight to Rex. "If
Stacy wasn't the donor, then who was?" wondered Gigi. "I think we should
take this one step at a time," Schuyler said.

John walked Marty to her room. "I'm glad you got your memory back," John
said. "I remember you, too," Marty said shyly. The two began flirting and
then their hands touched. John and Marty shared a very passionate kiss and
headed into the bedroom. They stopped because John remembered he was
"married to someone else." "You are still a really good kisser," Marty said
with a sly smile.

Langston and Markko returned from their first night together. Dorian asked
them to sit down. Dorian explained that Lola was a disturbed girl. They
couldn't believe that Lola had murdered her own mother. "That's way beyond
disturbed," Langston stated. Dorian didn't know what would happen to Lola
except that she was now at St. Ann's for an evaluation. Dorian thought
Markko was a bit like Ray. Langston wondered what happened because Dorian
used to dislike him.

Kyle returned to Roxy's and demanded he stay there for free or he'd tell
everyone the truth about the stem cells. "The donor is dead and so is the
topic," Roxy barked as Kyle headed upstairs to his free room.

Todd went in to see Téa in her hospital room. Blair didn't want to go home;
in fact she wanted to talk to Téa. Blair hinted that she and Téa had "shared
something." Todd went in to see Téa first and was stunned to see the
condition she was in. He sat by her side and looked at her badly bruised
face. Téa opened her eyes. "Scared you, didn't I?" Téa quipped. Todd told Téa
that Blair and Marty were fine. "You got the worst of it," he said. Todd
assured her that she'd be fine. Todd asked Téa what happened with Blair in
that boiler room, but Blair interrupted. "You look good," Téa observed. Téa
reminded Blair that they both felt Todd was the love of their lives. Téa
refused to tell Blair the one secret she had hinted at before the explosion
happened. Todd offered to take care of Téa. Blair looked a bit upset.

Thursday

Marcie and Michael were puzzled that baby Hope wasn't in Hope's coffin. John
paid them a visit. Marcie wanted to ask John for help in figuring out the
Hope mystery. The funeral home called Michael back. Apparently the only baby
that was buried was the one they received from the hospital, the only one
that week. Michael couldn't believe that a baby could be switched. Marcie
added that she thought their baby might be alive. "We need you to find out
what happened to Hope," Marcie said. John said he needed to make a phone
call. He called Blair and said that he thought they might need to start
telling people the truth about Chloe/Hope now. Blair agreed. "She's [Starr}
a smart kid and she's going to figure it out," John added. "What's going
on?" Starr asked. Blair just told her to stay put.

John told Michael and Marcie to sit down. "It's a long complicated story,
but I'll cut to the chase," John said. "Hope didn't die.”

Marty looked at the photo of Chloe in the paper and thought she looked just
like Cole. Marty was so happy that she remembered everything. Cole asked
what brought her memory back. Cole figured out that she remembered what
happened when Powell had her back at the frat house. Cole told his mother
that Starr thinks the baby might be alive. Marty didn't say anything. Cole
didn't want to think that their baby could be alive. Cole admitted that he
and Starr had thought about what might have happened had their baby not
died.

Starr wanted to call Viki after she read about Jessica and Chloe in the
paper. Blair didn't let her. Starr accused Blair of hiding something.
"You've been acting weird," Starr told her mother. "You can tell me," she
added. Blair changed the subject and wanted to know all about the prom.
Starr shyly told her mother that Cole had told her he loves her but added
that he had told her while he was detoxing. Starr admitted to her mother
that she thought Hope might still be alive. Todd, Cole and Marty showed up
at the house. Starr thought they had news that Hope's body had been found.
Everyone sat down. "Your baby girl is alive," Blair told an incredulous
Starr and Cole.

Viki was quite concerned about how things would go when Jessica returned.
"This Bess," Todd said. "How crazy is this one?" he asked. Charlie left to
make some calls. Viki explained that Bess would protect Jessica and the
baby. "If only I had been there," Viki said and then quickly apologized for
making it about her. Todd pointed out that the baby would still be part of
Viki's extended family. Viki worried about what would happen when Jessica
had to face the fact that her baby was dead.

Bess and Chloe arrived at Nash's parents house. Nash's mom gasped when she
saw Chloe, Nash's "daughter." Bess, as Jessica, told Nash's parents that
Nash was dead. They were stunned and upset.

In Llanview, Viki made a television appearance pleading for Jessica to come
home. Bess was taking care of Chloe, but Nash's parents caught the item on
the news.

Cristian suggested that Layla take him as a roommate, since she couldn't
afford the apartment on her own. Layla reminded him that they had bickered
in the past. Both agreed they didn't want to move back home to their
mothers. "We can make this work, I promise," Cristian said. Layla listed
some of the ground rules.

Friday

Brody asked a car dealer about the car that Jessica had sold him. The dealer
recalled that Jessica had asked for details about I 66. Brody remembered
where Jessica had said Nash's parents were living. He grabbed a map and
headed out.

Nash's parents wondered aloud why Jessica was on the news with "a missing
baby." Bess overheard them. Nash's father was about to call the hot line
when Bess interrupted. "I have to be honest with you about why I'm really
here," Bess said seriously. Bess explained that she was running away and
that her family was trying to control her. Nash's dad, though, believed
Viki's plea to the public. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't go to
that phone?" he asked Bess (thinking she was Jessica). Bess lied and claimed
that her entire family hated Nash. In fact, she added that Viki wanted to
have her committed. Bess added that if they called Viki, she'd take away any
access they would have to their grandchild. Nash's parents believed her.
Tess (in the mirror) reminded Bess that Viki had a whole army of people
looking for her and that Brody was one of them. Bess made a run for it only
to find Brody outside the Brennans' door.

John told Michael and Marcie that Hope was still is alive. Michael didn't
believe it. Marcie was ecstatic. Marcie demanded to know who took her baby.
"Who put us all through hell?" she said. John told them about Jessica.
Michael reminded Marcie that Jessica had been very sick after Nash died.
John left to continue the hunt for Jessica and the baby. Marcie and Michael
were shocked. Michael reminded Marcie that they were together again. "Now
and forever," he repeated.

Cole wondered if it could really be happening. "The miracle that we hoped
for came true," Starr said to Cole. Cole still couldn't believe it. They
hugged themselves in joy. The grandparents looked on happily. "Where has she
been this whole time?" Starr wondered. Everyone was quiet and Todd started
to recount the plan of the night the baby was born.

Separately, John and Todd replayed the story of what had happened. They went
over the details. "Someone took my baby and put a dead one in her place,"
Starr said incredulously. "How can someone do that?" Cole asked. At first
Todd remained cagey about who had taken the baby. Cole reminded Todd that
had Todd not had that plan, they would never have lost Hope. Todd
finally said the dead baby "was Jessica's." Starr couldn't believe Jessica
switched the babies. They tried to explain that the alternate personality
had take over Jessica's. "So what happens now?" Cole asked. Starr panicked
when she realized that that is why Jessica ran away. "I can't believe that
this is happening," Starr said. Michael and Marcie came over and they all
waited together for news about the baby.

Rex gave Stacy $20,000 in cash to pay off Stan. Stacy hugged him in
gratitude. He borrowed it from Ultra Violet. "We had a pretty good year,"
Rex said. Stacy insisted on giving the money to Stan herself. "Bo said you
don't give in to terrorists," Rex said as he announced he was changing his
mind. Stacy panicked. Rex explained that he would go to the park and discuss
things with Stan. Stacy was worried. Rex went to the park. Meanwhile, Stacy
had called Stan to give him the money. Stan came over. Stacy asked him to
punch her in the face before he left.

Gigi and Schuyler tried to get into the lab but Schuyler's id had expired.
Schuyler talked his way through security and the two headed
through to the lab. Kyle showed up minutes later and saw Gigi and Schuyler in the
lab. He ran to another computer and began altering the results they were
looking for. Schuyler explained that he hoped Stacy would be happy once she
got over her obsession with Rex. Schuyler rechecked the file and saw that
Stacy was a match. Kyle had gotten to the database before they had. Schuyler
spotted Kyle and remembered he had come to his place. Gigi asked if Kyle "had
cooked the lab report?" Gigi was disappointed but Schuyler came up with
another plan.

Schuyler and Gigi were walking through the park and ran into Rex, who
wondered why Gigi was with "him."
