Markko noticed that things were tense between Langston and Starr. Markko reported that Hannah told him Ford had dumped her for Langston. Markko wondered where Hannah would get an idea that Langston and Ford were sleeping together. Langston's eyes grew wide as she tried to figure out what to say. Langston danced around his questions as Starr just listened. "You think I'm sleeping with Ford?" Langston asked pointedly. Markko asked Langston to steer clear of Ford. Langston nodded her head. Markko left. Starr promised not to tell Markko or Cole anything. Later, Markko told Langston they could use some alone time.
Marty collapsed in the lobby of the Angel Square Hotel. When she came to, she immediately asked about the baby. John tried to stay calm but noticed that there was blood on the blanket. She saw the blood and began to panic. The medics arrived. Marty told them she was 10 weeks pregnant. The medics said that her blood pressure was a little high. John got a call from Natalie but didn't answer it and accompanied Marty to the emergency room.
Dorian called Viki in London and implored Viki to give Charlie a second chance. "This has nothing to do with you," Viki replied. Dorian told her that Allison Perkins was on the loose. Viki assured Dorian that Jessica and Natalie had police protection. Dorian hinted that Mitch may have had something to do with Melinda's death. Viki said she'd be back in Llanview if her family needed her. Dorian got some satisfaction when she hung up on Viki first.
Gigi was frustrated that Schuyler didn't let her see Sierra Rose. "He wasn't himself," she told Rex. Gigi didn't think he was back to using drugs. "Something else is going on," she added. Gigi said she had to be prepared for the possibility that Schuyler might get custody. Rex didn't think Mitch would go after Shane. Gigi thanked Rex for the beer and she headed home to make dinner for Shane.
Schuyler locked Mitch in the infirmary. He wasn't going to let him out until he had his daughter. Bo showed up, asking to speak to Mitch. Todd and Kelly were there, too, sniffing out a newspaper story. Schuyler demanded that Mitch call Allison and get his baby back. Bo pounded on the door, but Schuyler wouldn't let him in. Schuyler injected Mitch with something that would stop Mitch's heart for real. Bo asked Schuyler what he wanted. "Got it covered Commissioner," Schuyler said. Schuyler revealed Mitch would get the antidote when his baby was returned.
Roxy and Kyle were tied up in Kyle's room. He saw that Allison had Sierra Rose. Kyle told Allison that there was a good chance that Schuyler was not Sierra's father, but Allison was convinced that Schuyler was the dad. "Who is the father?" she asked. Oliver knocked on the door, but Kyle couldn’t answer. Then, Allison got a call from Mitch. At the infirmary, Schuyler grabbed the phone. He told her she needed to come to Statesville with the baby. Schuyler added that Mitch would be a dead man. "Come now," Mitch implored. Allison headed out with the baby. Oliver got the extra key and let himself into the apartment. He untied Roxy and Kyle. Kyle told Oliver that Allison went out the window with the infant. Roxy bolted out of the apartment. Oliver called Bo and told him that Allison has Sierra Rose. Before leaving the apartment, Oliver grabbed the envelope that had the paternity results in it. Oliver read the results; he is Sierra Rose's father.
Natalie pounded on Schuyler's door. Téa suggested they find the super. Natalie charged into the apartment but Schuyler wasn't there. Natalie revealed that Allison had Sierra. Téa asked Natalie to tell her everything she knew and Nat explained that she had no choice but to keep Allison's secret for the safety of the baby. Téa called Schuyler but he said everything was under control and he hung up.... Natalie arrived at Rex's loft and told him that Allison took Roxy. Roxy rushed in next and fell into Natalie's arms.
Kelly refused to leave Statesville. Bo said he couldn't have civilians around the hostage situation. Bo put Kelly and Todd in a holding area where they were in protective custody.
Schuyler begged the warden to let Allison bring him his baby. Allison held the guard at gunpoint. "Mitch, I've come," Allison said excitedly. "Give me my daughter," Schuyler ordered. "Not until you've given the messenger the antidote," Allison countered, pointing the gun at Schuyler.
Tuesday
Jessica helped Cris paint the scenery for the musical, but couldn't take her eyes off of Cris's biceps. The two then chased each other with paint brushes. Layla walked in on that bit of flirting. "I came by to pick up my boyfriend," Layla said firmly. Cris got a call from Brody saying that Allison was caught and consequently Jessica was safe. Cris told Layla there was a perfectly good explanation, which was that Brody had asked Cris to keep an eye on Jessica. Cris assured Layla that she was the one he comes home to. Cris took off his shirt and pulled Layla into a passionate kiss as Jessica watched. Jessica left the auditorium to catch a ride with her father. She tore down the sign-up sheet for the scenery crew and threw it away.
Kyle congratulated Oliver on learning he was Sierra's father. Oliver felt bad that he hadn't stepped up for his daughter earlier. "I'm a father of a gorgeous little girl and now she's in trouble because of me," Oliver pointed out.
Marty was rushed to the emergency room. John and Marty told the ob/gyn that she had been spotting. John waited nervously and took a call from Bo. Bo brought John up to speed about what was going on at Statesville. Marty told John that the baby was fine and promised she'd take care of herself. The ob/gyn told them that Marty's blood pressure had spiked. "This is a high risk pregnancy," she added. The doctor said Marty would need eight hours sleep and a nap every day. Marty promised she'd do what ever it took for the sake of the baby. John assured her she would be okay. John told Marty that he wants this baby and that she was moving in with him. Marty smiled.
Brody showed up at Statesville to help Bo with the hostage situation. Oliver arrived to assist them and requested to lead the unit. "I'm that baby's father," he announced. Bo looked confused.
Allison said she'd kill little Sierra Rose if Schuyler didn't administer the life-saving antidote to Mitch. Mitch grabbed his chest in pain. Allison tried to explain that Sierra Rose was Mitch's grandchild even though Rex was not the baby's father. Allison then told Schuyler that Mitch was his father. "You are out of your mind," Schuyler replied. Allison went on to say that Leah Joplin wasn't Schuyler's mother. Mitch was equally confused by Allison's ramblings. Schuyler learned that Allison was his aunt.
In flashbacks, Allison remembered that a little baby boy been left at the hospital at the same time that Roxy had given birth to Mitch's child, a rather sickly baby boy. Allison had brought Roxy's baby to her sister, Dr. Leah Perkins Joplin, and grabbed the abandoned baby, claimed he was hers and handed him to Roxy. Allison added that Leah then helped the sickly baby recover. But by then, Allison couldn't undo the baby switch. Allison lied
and said that she had given birth to the sickly boy and promptly asked Leah to raise him. "That's how Leah Joplin became the mother of your biological child, Mitch," Allison added. "This is your son, Mitch, and his daughter is your grandchild," Allison pronounced.
Roxy started to cry in front of Rex and Natalie. Roxy was clearly talking about another baby when she said "I lost him." Rex and Natalie didn't know what she was talking about. "Mitch Laurence is not your father," Roxy told a stunned Rex. Roxy started to tell the story of how she carried Mitch's child for nine months. Roxy admitted she drank a lot through the pregnancy. She recalled how Allison took her sickly baby and then returned with a healthy baby boy. Later Roxy showed the baby to Mitch (in a flashback), who named him Rex. "Who am I?" Rex asked Roxy.
Kim was confident she and Clint would be Sierra Rose's parents. Clint surprised her with gifts. Jessica called Clint and asked
him to pick her up from school because she had missed the bus. Kim lounged on the couch when the doorbell rang. It was David Vickers.
Wednesday
Kim was not pleased to see David at the front door. David worried that Kim was "frittering away” his inheritance. David called her a Junior Varsity Gold Digger and referred to himself as a Varsity Gold Digger and insisted she divorce Clint ASAP. Kim refused. David threatened to tell Clint all the bad things she had done. Kim thought David was bluffing. David showed her a document. "Read it and weep," David declared.
Starr saw Cole comforting Hannah in the diner. Hannah wondered if she should get back at Ford for trashing her reputation. Hannah apologized to Starr for monopolizing Cole. Cole asked Starr if something was wrong. He then admitted that he had lied to Starr and he had been in Hannah's dorm room. Starr wondered why he had lied. Cole revealed that Hannah had overdosed. Starr thought Hannah needed help and Cole apologized for keeping the secret from Starr. Starr forgave Cole for temporarily lying to her.
Langston showed up at Ford's door and told him that Starr knows about them. Ford couldn't believe she had told Starr the truth. "Everything is out of control," Langston blurted out. Ford admitted that he had slept with Hannah, but insisted that it was just sex. Langston hinted that she might break up with Markko. Hannah knocked on Ford's door. He went outside to talk to her in the hallway, where he called her a stalker. She was furious and left. Back in his room, Ford told Langston she should stay with Markko. "Are you dumping me?" a stunned Langston asked. Ford didn't think it was the right time for them and didn't want her to hurt Markko.
At Statesville, Oliver stunned Bo and Brody with news that he was Sierra Rose's father. In the prison infirmary, Allison made it clear that Mitch was Schuyler's father. Schuyler was horrified by that bit of news. Allison pointed the gun at Schuyler and demanded that he give Mitch the antidote. Schuyler refused. Allison pointed her gun at the baby. Schuyler panicked but insisted on getting the baby back before giving the antidote. Allison gave in and handed Sierra Rose to him. Schuyler threw the syringe on the floor and said "die." He walked out of the infirmary, past Bo and Oliver with the baby. Brody handcuffed Allison. Mitch had a heart attack. Brody found the antidote on the floor but refused to administer it. Oliver looked at Schuyler comforting Sierra Rose. "You are not taking Sierra," Oliver said. "She's not your daughter," Oliver said.
Cris and Layla came home. Layla admitted she was jealous of Cris's relationship with Jess. Cris kissed her. Layla then found a note that Cris had written Jessica. He explained he wrote it in high school. Layla wondered why he had it with him. Cris explained that Jessica had given it to him. "Maybe she wanted to jog my memory," Cris tried to explain. Layla went to throw it away but Cris didn't want her to. Layla asked what Cris would do if her ex Vincent returned to town. Cris ripped up the letter, stormed out and slammed the door. Layla began to put the letter back together.
Rex realized Roxy didn't know who his parents were. A half-crazed Roxy explained that she always knew the baby she gave birth to had been switched by Allison. Roxy tried to get Rex to look on the brighter side of things: He wasn't Mitch's son. Roxy cried that she was a rotten mother. Natalie assured Roxy that she loved her. Rex stood up and admitted he was confused, upset and a little pissed off. He added that this didn't change how he felt about Roxy. There was a group hug. Roxy smiled at her "kids" before she headed home. Natalie knew that Rex wasn't really okay.
Clint and Jessica sat at the diner. Clint thought it was odd that just Cris and Jessica were building the sets for the high school musical. Jessica was upset with her father for keeping his marriage to Kim a secret, but wished her father well. Clint was happy that Jessica had agreed to go out with Brody, but Jessica didn't want her father to get his hopes up about her future with Brody. Clint had to go to the office. Cris charged into the diner looking for his mother. Jessica lied and said her ride ditched her. Cris offered to take her home....
Thursday
Kim wondered how David found out all about her past. As she tore them up, Kim said she wasn't that person described in those papers. Leave Clint and Llanview, ordered David, explaining there was
only room for one gold digger in the family, "and that's me." Unwilling to hurt Clint, Kim she decided she had to go.
Blair arranged a fancy dinner out on the patio for Eli. Dorian walked in on them smooching and asked Eli about his intentions with Blair, warning him not to hurt her. Markko rang Dorian's doorbell as he was looking for Langston. Markko was confused to learn she wasn’t there. "I haven't seen Langston all day long," Dorian claimed, then panicked at the thought that Langston was missing, jumping to the conclusion that Mitch was involved. Markko found out that Langston was at the diner. Dorian asked if he and Langston were having problems; Markko said they just needed some more time together.
Blair explained to Eli that Dorian was "part of the package with me," and asked if he could handle her kids. "They are my heart and my soul," she said. "I come with a lot of baggage. Can you deal with that?" Eli began to tell Blair that he could handle her whole family.
Kelly and Todd were still locked in an office at Statesville. As Todd wished that Mitch would die a slow death, Kelly wondered if Allison would kill Melinda Cramer. She wanted to look Allison in the eye and have her tell her how her mother died. Todd reminded her that Allison was a little nutty. Kelly and Todd ran into Allison in the hall.
Brody held the antidote for Mitch. "I can't think of one reason to save this bastard's life," Brody said as he looked at Mitch. Allison fell to her knees and began to pray. Bo told Brody he wasn't a killer and with that, Brody injected Mitch with the serum. Mitch came to life and demanded they take Allison away. Bo wondered where the gun was. (Schuyler was hiding it.) Bo punched Mitch and told him he didn't deserve to have Rex as a son.
Schuyler didn't want to hear that Sierra Rose wasn't his, and told
Oliver that he’d just learned Roxy and Mitch were his parents. Oliver informed Schuyler that Sierra was his (not Schuyler's) daughter. After showing Schuyler the DNA test to prove it, Oliver took Sierra Rose in his arms and kissed her.
Rex was upset about Roxy's recent reveal that he wasn't her son. Natalie urged Rex to talk to Gigi, who rushed in, in a panic about Allison and the baby. Natalie assured her that the baby was fine, then insisted that Rex spill the truth to Gigi about his parents. Rex told Gigi that Mitch wasn't his father and that Roxy wasn't his mother. "I don't know who I am," he said. Gigi hugged him. Gigi asked how Mitch's stem cells matched Shane's, but Rex didn't know.
Schuyler — the missing gun in stashed in his pocket — showed up at Rex's and made eye contact with Gigi.
Langston showed up before Starr could spill the beans to Cole and Langston and Ford. Alone with Starr, Langston reminded her that Starr had promised to keep her secret. Starr didn't think that Langston could ask Starr to lie to Cole, but Langston was convinced that Cole would tell Markko. "I can't be a part of this," Starr declared, growing angry at Starr. Cole interrupted them and asked what was going on. Markko showed up at the diner and asked Langston why she had lied to him.
Friday
Cole interrogated Starr about whatever secret she was keeping about
Langston. Starr didn't spill about Langston's affair with Ford, but
acknowledged that Langston was going in a "horrible" direction. Markko
tracked down Langston, who acted indignant when he questioned her behavior.
"I should have known you'd never lie to me," said Markko, but later asked
Cole to find out what Langston was hiding. After thanking an angry Starr for
lying for her, Langston placed a call to Ford.
"Tell me what you know about my mother's death," Kelly demanded of Allison
as the wacko was being led into prison. Allison explained that she had to
kill one of the Cramer women for "the Messenger." She went to Kelly's
mother's clinic intent on offing her, only to learn she was already dead!
"Find me a bible and I'll swear on it," smirked Allison. Roxy showed up and
wanted to know where her baby boy was buried. "Why would he be buried?"
asked Allison — Roxy's baby didn't die!
Clint came home to surprise Kim, who informed him (as blackmailer David
eavesdropped) that she was leaving him. Kim explained that she'd done
something really bad, and described the way she and Stacy passed off Sierra
as Rex's. The marriage doesn't have to be over, Clint told a surprised Kim.
She hadn't done anything that affected him, reasoned Clint, so as far as he
could see, her scam was not a deal breaker. "I'm still willing to give this
marriage a shot," Clint said. Spying David waving the incriminating papers,
Kim said she'd cheated on Clint. That is a deal breaker, said Clint sadly.
As a hidden David rolled his eyes, a teary Kim kissed Clint goodbye. After
her soon-to-be ex-husband went upstairs, Kim picked up her bags and warned
David, "I'll get my husband back. And when I do, I'll destroy you."
Natalie dropped by John's and learned pregnant Marty had some complications,
and was moving in. Natalie filled John in on Rex's identity situation.
Sympathetic John pointed out Rex not being Roxy's son must be tough on
Natalie, too, and gave her a hug. Natalie regretted crying on John's
shoulder. Maybe she needs to find a new friend, said Natalie, and left.
Rex arrived home shortly after Schuyler whisked Gigi off, supposedly to find
baby Sierra. Frantic that Gigi was missing, Rex summoned Bo. Brody showed up
soon after and announced Schuyler had escaped; then Bo filled Rex in about
Sierra not being his daughter. "Finding out your dad's not who you thought
seems to be going around," noted Rex. There's a lot worse things than
finding out you're not Mitch Laurence's son, pointed out Bo. He doesn't have
a mother, either, Rex informed Bo.
Meanwhile, an unhinged Schuyler whisked Gigi to the cabin "where it all
started," and explained how Stacy lied about Sierra's paternity. Gigi was
stunned to learn Oliver was Sierra's father. That makes everything
different, said Schuyler, since the thing that broke them up — him sleeping
with Stacy — never happened. He still lied, snapped an angry Gigi, who tried
to call Rex from the phone Schuyler had unplugged. "You're all I have
left," Schulyer said. When an alarmed Gigi tried to leave, Schuyler pulled
out a gun!
