OLTL Week of March 1, 2010
Monday
Allison, disguised as Roxy, paid Mitch a visit. "You were my first and my most loyal," he said with a big smile. Allison reported that Jessica was still in the hospital. "All her recent memories are gone," Allison added. "A Cramer women is dead." Mitch smiled.
Roxy took some swigs from her flask. Brody joined her at the diner. Layla popped in and learned that Jessica had asked Cris
to come by. She was stunned to learn that Jessica didn't remember Brody. "This Jessica doesn't love me. She doesn't even like me that much," he said sadly. Brody went into Jessica's room and saw that she had written Jessica Buchanan-Vega on her notebook.
Jessica pulled Christina into a big kiss. "Whoa," he said. Jessica explained that's how she feels and added that she only remembers up to high school. "It's 13 years later," Cris explained. "You are the love of my life," she said with a smile. "Don't you still love me?" Cris wasn’t sure how to respond. "A lot has changed," Cris stammered. She wondered how they broke up, and was stunned that she had cheated on him. Cris told Jessica about Layla. "I do love her," he admitted. Jessica said she feels like crying. "First love never lasts," he said gently.
Langston pulled away from a towel-clad Ford. She should
explore her wild side, Ford urged. Langston grew defensive. "I love Markko," she insisted. Ford accused her of missing out on life and being afraid of being abandoned. (Like her parents had left her.) Langston opened up about living alone for all those months. Ford was amazed to hear her story, and convinced that she had come to him because she "wanted to break free." Langston and Ford began kissing passionately and had sex. Langston ignored her phone ringing; later, she read the texts and learned that Dorian's sister had died. She ran off to La Boulaie.
Andrew had bad news for the Cramer women. "Where is Cassie?"
a panicked Dorian cried out. Cassie showed up and announced, "There's been a death. At first they thought it was Addie, but it was Melinda. "She died last night," Cassie reported. Everyone was teary. Dorian knew that Melinda had been in perfect health. Kelly was starting to wonder if she had told Melinda she loved her. Blair assured her that she had done right by her mother.
Cole told Hannah about his 16-month-old daughter, Hope. "We're raising Hope together," he explained. "Do you ever feel like you are missing out?" she asked him. Hannah thought that Cole was very settled and responsible, but left because Hope kept making noises and they couldn't get their work done.
Cris brought Layla up to speed on his hour with Jessica. Langston arrived at La Boulaie and started crying, sorry about Dorian's sister. Dorian told Andrew that Mitch was behind her sister's death. Ford bragged to Markko that he just had a killer workout. Allison reported to Mitch that she was following Roxy, who had just left the diner....
Tuesday
Rex told Gigi he felt that Sierra Rose would make it. Gigi asked him to help her plan a memorial service for Stacy, then asked Schuyler why he didn't claim Sierra as his daughter until after Stacy's death. Things were tense between them but Schuyler said he wouldn't let Sierra down. When Greg told Schuyler they needed answers about that missing drug, Schuyler hemmed and hawed, admitting to Gigi that he had stolen the drug by forging a signature of an OB/GYN. He explained (as Kim eavesdropped) that Stacy and Kim had hounded him for the drug. "If Sierra doesn't make it, it's your fault," she said. Schuyler insisted he didn't give them the drugs. "I saw my pathetic self," he said. Unsure she could believe him, Gigi left. Schuyler ran into Kim and was angry that she hadn’t backed him up.
Jessica asked Viki how to get Cris back. Viki tried to explain that
they can't ignore the years that have gone by, and was stunned when Jessica admitted she had kissed Cris. Greg said that he and Marty wanted to do some more tests. Jessica pouted. "She doesn't sound like herself," Viki told Clint. Jessica remembered kissing Cris and smiled. Kevin visited Jessica and she clearly didn't know the latest details on the Buchanan family.
Ford wanted to brag to Cristian about his conquest. Cris wasn't interested but Ford rambled on about bedding Langston (though he didn't mention her name). Cris told him about his interaction with Jessica. "She's stuck in senior year in high school," he explained.
At La Boulaie, Dorian wanted everyone to stay home with Kelly, but Adriana had an appointment. Kelly wondered how Melinda's heart gave out. Blair wanted to know why Langston kept checking her cell phone for messages, and wondered if Langston had been with Ford. "I did it. I slept with Ford, and I'm so sorry," she said as she fell into Blair's arms. "Markko trusted me. How could I cheat on him?" she asked. Blair told Langston that she was probably just going to be a roll in the hay for Ford. Langston's phone rang. It was Ford, who flirted with Langston and asked her to come over. Blair encouraged her hang up. Blair told Langston to end the relationship with Ford. Blair called Ford and invited him over "to put me out of my misery." Moments later the doorbell rang.
Kevin arrived at the door and told Kelly that he and Zane miss her. Kelly cried as she looked at pictures of her mother.
Rex came home to the loft and found Adriana waiting for him. Adriana asked how he was. "The baby was born but it turns out that she isn't mine. She's somebody else's," he said. Adriana wondered if he and Gigi were getting back together...then she and Rex kissed.
Brody visited Mitch in jail. Mitch suggested that he and Brody could give Jessica the years she had lost, vowing to get Jessica's memory back if Brody would help him escape from his cell. Brody wasn't budging.
Dorian came by to visit Mitch at Statesville. While there, she crossed paths with Brody, who blamed everything on Dorian. Brody said he and John and the police could have protected her family. Dorian didn't think so. Mitch offered her his condolences. Dorian asked Mitch how he killed her sister, and asked if they were now even. Mitch said he might leave her girls alone... but he might not.
Jessica showed up at Cris' door and he opened it wearing nothing but a towel. Gigi told Rex that she had made Sierra a promise never to let Schuyler near her again. Kim wept as she looked at pictures of Stacy. Then Stacy came up behind Kim. Kim couldn't believe her eyes.
Wednesday
Todd ran into Kelly at the chapel. He thought she was a nun at first, and handed her a check to give to Andrew. The two bantered. Kelly made it clear that she knew everything there was to know about Todd, who said he wanted Dani to learn that he was giving a big donation to the church. "She just knows bad stuff about me," he explained. Todd asked Kelly questions about her life in London with Kevin and Zane. "So you are one big happy family now?" he asked. "Kevin and I have made a life together even though we are not a couple," Kelly explained. Todd said that things were over with Téa, but he wasn't going to give up on Dani. Kevin found Kelly and church and took out a little velvet box. "Will you
marry me?" he asked.
Langston wouldn't listen when Blair called Ford a dog. Blair answered the door, expecting Ford, but it was Eli. Langston headed out and ran into Ford. "What are you doing here?" she wondered, then realized, "you were here to see Starr's mom.” Eli figured out Blair was waiting for another guy. "I'm not up for a three-way," he said. Blair reminded him that they were in a no-strings attached relationship. Eli
surprised her by confessing that he had only been with her. When Blair admitted that she had only been with him, the two headed upstairs.
Langston told Ford that she was there when Blair called him. "You set me up to test me?" Ford asked. "I was going to tell her to leave me alone," he claimed. Annoyed by all the questions, Ford left. Upset, Langston showed up at Ford's. The two started kissing, then headed to the bedroom.
Brody shared his frustrations with Marty, who said that perhaps Jessica wanted to be "right where she is." Marty urged him to be patient because Jessica wanted to escape the present ,because in the present Mitch had almost raped her.
Jessica surprised Cristian (wearing just a towel) at his apartment door. She told him she had been thinking about their first time. She was upset when he told her that all Jessica did was raise a child. Jessica threw a fit. and was devastated when she learned that Cris and Layla lived together. Cris brought Jessica back to the hospital, where they found Marty and Brody in Jess' room. Cris told Brody
that Jessica had shown up at his door. Jessica wondered if Marty could give her back "everything she missed out on."
Gigi told Rex that Schuyler had stolen a drug to induce labor. "Schuyler could be directly responsible for my sister's death," she said. Rex knew about the drug theft, and believed Schuyler when he said that he
hadn't used the drugs on Stacy. Gigi was less certain. Rex brought her Stacy's dolls, Sierra and Rose. Gigi started to cry that they had just started to get close before Stacy died. Gigi promised baby Sierra that she would take care of her. "I'm going to raise Sierra Rose," Gigi announced. Rex said he'd help her get a lawyer.
Stacy came up behind Kim, who wasn't sure if Stacy was real, but they had a conversation anyway. Kim told her that Sierra was in the hospital and admitted seeing the baby "all sick." Kim explained that Schuyler had put all the blame on her. Stacy urged Kim to be Sierra's mom. Kim didn't think she had the stuff to be a mother. "There's something in it for you, too," Stacy said. Kim thought about it and decided to be the baby’s mom. At the nursery, she began crying when she saw Sierra Rose. She
promised to keep her promise to Stacy. Clint found her and gave her a pair of gorgeous new boots. "Will you marry me?" she asked a surprised Clint.
Kevin asked Clint about Kim, "his assistant," wondering about her motives. He was surprised to learn she was actually living with Clint. Clint refused to tell Kevin if he was sleeping with Kim, then asked Kevin about his relationship with Kelly. Kevin refused to offer up details about their sex life.
Thursday
Dorian offered Bo his job back and Dorian wondered why Nora was there. It was because Nora had a stack of charges against Dorian. Dorian told Bo that Mitch killed her sister. Nora then said she wouldn't arrest Dorian because that would implicate Charlie. "Dorian don't look a gift horse in the mouth," Bo warned. Bo said he'd take his job back and they left La Boulaie.
Kevin proposed to Kelly, who looked flabbergasted. Kevin said he regretted
how he had treated her in the past. He took the blame for the failure of
their marriage, but Kelly was quick to take some of the responsibility. "We've
made a life together for years now," he explained. "Have you forgiven me
fully?" Kelly wondered. Kevin remembered a kiss they shared last August. "I can't," she said apologetically. "I can't marry you." Kelly added that she has to go through grieving for her mother and Kevin can't help her do that. Kevin said good-bye. Dorian came in and saw a teary-eyed Kelly. "You've got a beautiful future ahead of you," Dorian said. "I hope so," Kelly replied.
Kim proposed to Clint. Clint didn't know why they should get married. "Where
is this coming from," Clint asked. Kim explained the situation with Sierra's
custody and that she needed his help. Kim said that Gigi couldn't support
the baby and Schuyler wasn't father material. "He's a lost cause," Kim said
as she rattled off everything awful Schuyler had done. "I can't let her
[Stacy] down," she said desperately. Stacy said that as Mrs. Clint Buchanan
she could get custody. Clint wondered if Kim just wanted a ring on her
finger. Kim listed all the reasons why she needed Clint by her side. "What's
in it for me?" he asked. Kim looked at the baby and Clint said he understood
her commitment to the baby and Stacy. "You've got yourself a deal," Clint
said. "I'll marry you Kimberly. Why not?" he smiled, adding. "My pa was married 14 times."
Todd showed up in Dani's classroom. Moments later, Téa arrived and they met the principal. Dani was being accused of breaking into her math teacher's desk and stealing the answers to tomorrow's test. Apparently, Danielle was seen leaving the classroom before the break in. He asked for permission to search her bag. Téa went into lawyer mode and forbid the principal from searching Dani's backpack unless he had a search warrant. The principal said Dani would be suspended. Todd interrupted and agreed to let the principal search her bag. "I know she didn't do this" he declared. Todd
made it clear that he trusted her. Dani was about to turn over her bag when
Matthew burst in and said that he had stolen the answers to the exam. Nora
and Bo rushed in and were surprised that their son had confessed. "Mom, I
took the answers," Matthew explained, adding that he threw them away. Nora
questioned her son. Dani jumped up and took the answers out of her bag.
Nora and Bo were all over Matthew for lying. Todd told the principal that he
couldn't expel her, then wrote a check for $1 million dollars which got Dani out of trouble. Dani thanked Todd for standing up for her.
Charlie surprised Viki by showing up in her living room. Charlie asked about
Bree and Jessica. A chilly Viki told Charlie she didn't think they'd ever
recover from Jessica's shooting, and that subtly meant her relationship with
Charlie. Viki told Charlie all about Jessica's memory loss. "She thinks
she's 17 years old," Viki said. Charlie then asked how Viki was doing. "You haven't lost me," Charlie said, then begged for one more chance. Viki said she couldn't, pointing out that he had shut her out and turned to Dorian. Viki rattled
off all the bad things Dorian had done to him, to them. "I am horrified that
you would use Jared's memory to kill Mitch Laurence," Viki said and added
that Mitch would have raped Jessica. "I am furious," Viki exploded at him.
"I made a bad choice," Charlie admitted. "I can't afford to give you another chance," Viki said as she asked him for a divorce.
Natalie was shocked that Marty knew all about the two kisses with John. "You knew what you were doing," Marty said. Things got a little prickly between the two women. Marty explained that she and John talked it through but wondered if Natalie still had feelings for John. Marty stood up and was a little dizzy.
She went to get some water. John arrived and asked about Jessica. He and Nat talked about the kiss. "You told her it was a mistake," Natalie said
sharply. Marty joined them. Natalie headed into Jessica's room. After, the pharmacist brought Marty a pregnancy test, which she carefully kept from John.
Friday
John woke up to find Natalie next to him in bed. They started to kiss but he
soon realized it was a dream. Marty stood by the bathroom and looked at her
pregnancy test. He didn't tell her about his dream. John was worried that
Marty didn't eat anything. He almost grabbed the bag with the pregnancy
test but she managed to get it from him and threw the test away. John
suggested she take the morning off, then got ready for work and headed out.
Marty returned to the bathroom and retrieved the test. She was nervous about
taking it. Moments later, she learned she was pregnant.
Clint and Viki brought Jessica home. She noticed everything that had changed
since high school. Natalie had a big hug for her sister. Jessica said she
needed time to catch up. "She's acting like a houseguest," Clint observed.
Natalie began to Jessica the story of her life. Alison lurked outside in the
garden. Jessica gushed over Cris and told her sister about how she threw
herself at him the other day. Jessica asked Natalie about Natalie's
relationship with Cris. (Natalie was uncomfortable because she had been
married to Cris.)
Layla brought Cris his lunch at school. It was his first day as teacher.
Cristian explained that Jessica had broken the framed picture of Cris and
Jessica. Layla asked for details. Cris didn't think they needed to hide
their relationship from the world, or Jessica. Later, Jessica showed up in
Cris's classroom, saying she was his student.
Viki told Clint that she and Charlie were finished. Viki and Clint agreed
that they were each other's best friend. Viki wished Clint well on his
upcoming marriage to Kim. Viki hugged Natalie. She thought things would get
a lot tougher with Jessica before it got any easier. Viki shut the patio
door. Natalie opened the front door. She smiled when she saw John standing
there.
Charlie urged Brody to call Jessica. Brody urged her friend not to give up
on Viki and didn't think Viki really wanted a divorce. Brody said he wasn't
giving up on Jessica. Clint ran into Brody at the diner. Clint told him he
could call him anytime. Brody then bumped into to Layla. Layla told Brody
about Jessica's visit to Cris.
Clint wanted to make one thing clear with Kim before they got married or
adopted a baby: He wanted her to sign a pre-nuptial agreement.
Schuyler met with Téa and Rachel and said he didn't care about his career; he was
just worried about his daughter. Téa reminded him that stealing a controlled
substance might put him in Statesville. Schuyler told the women that Kim,
Rex and Gigi knew about the drug theft. That didn't make Téa happy. She
suggested he deny ever saying anything about the drug. Schuyler didn't want
to call Gigi a liar.
Kim brought a plant to Oliver and Kyle. She apologized for being rude to them. She then announced she was marrying Clint and they would be raising
Sierra Rose together. Kim tried to prove her case that she should be the
baby's mom. "Not if we have anything to say about it," Kyle said firmly. Kim
threatened to crush Kyle like a cockroach. Oliver stood there with his mouth
wide open. Kyle accused Oliver of being a coward, as he didn't want to raise
his child. In fact, Oliver thought it was a good idea that Clint and Kim
raised the baby. Oliver didn't think Sierra was his daughter. Kyle held the
test results in his hand. "The answers are right here in this envelope,"
Kyle said.
Rex noticed that Sierra was holding her own. Gigi just wanted to take Sierra
home. Eli arrived and discussed their legal options. "We can make sure
Sierra comes home with you," Rex said. They brought Eli up to speed on the
whole Schuyler fraud situation. "He's the reason she's dead," Rex said. Eli
thought it would be a tough case to make. "Was he ever convicted of a
crime?" Eli asked. Eli said they needed evidence that Schuyler wouldn't be a
good father. Rex rattled off all of Schuyler bad past deeds (stealing drugs,
the relationship with the teacher). Gigi jumped up and said that Schuyler
was clean from drugs. Rex asked Gigi if she would be able to hurt Schuyler
if it meant she could keep the baby. Rex said he had Gigi's back. Schuyler,
Téa and Rachel showed up in the waiting room. Tension! Gigi told Eli that
she wanted custody of Sierra Rose.
