Monday
Todd watched as Cole began to propose to Starr. "That's a joke right?" Todd
smirked. Cole told Todd he wanted to marry Starr. Todd assured Cole that
"We'll work something out." "Mr. Manning I'm going to prison and before I go
I want to marry Starr," Cole explained. Starr begged her father not to freak
out. Cole said that he had been arrested for drug possession. Starr tried to
explain that Cole was set up. Starr insisted that Cole wasn't back on drugs.
Cole explained the scenario on the docks with Asher. Starr jumped to his
defense. Todd gave his consent to the wedding. A shocked Starr wondered what
her father was up to. Todd said they'd review the details in the morning and
left. "Who was that?" Starr asked. The teens were stunned that Todd had
consented to their marriage. They tried to figure out what had caused Todd's
odd behavior. Starr reminded Cole that she hadn't said yes. Moments later
Cole proposed again and Starr happily accepted.
Schuyler tried to convince Gigi that Roxy might know more than she's letting
on. Schuyler added that he had seen Roxy with Stacy. Gigi said that Roxy had
said some strange things. Gigi explained that Roxy had made a remark about
Stacy's blood. Schuyler couldn't believe that Gigi had any doubt that Roxy
knows something. "How could she?" Gigi wondered. Schuyler thought that Stacy
might be blackmailing Roxy as well. Schuyler stopped Gigi from rushing over
to question Roxy. Schuyler and Gigi agreed that Stacy must have something
pretty big on Roxy. Gigi approached Roxy. "What's with the fish eye?" Roxy
asked. "It's about Rex and Stacy," Gigi said seriously. Gigi wished out
loud "if only Stacy wasn't a match." Gigi begged Roxy to tell her if Stacy
was threatening her. "What is she holding over your head?" Gigi asked. Roxy
refused to tell her anything. Gigi reported to Schuyler that Roxy was
definitely keeping something from her. Schuyler promised her that it would
eventually all fall into place. Gigi and Schuyler left to watch Shane's
concert.
Rex and Stacy kissed passionately, though Rex kept trying to stop. He took
off her bathing suit top with his teeth. However, this was interrupted by a
representative of the club. Stacy and Rex were arrested.
Now at the police station, Bo wondered where "Mr. Balsom's pants were." The
representative from the club rattled off all the crimes Rex had committed.
"Mr. Balsom will pay in full everything he has taken but I would appreciate you
not file specific charges," Bo asked. Bo told the cops to uncuff Rex. Rex
pulled on his pants. Bo dragged him into his office and slammed the door.
"What the hell were you thinking. Trespassing, identity theft....well, were
you doing 'it'?" Bo demanded. "Well almost," Rex said sheepishly. Bo pointed
out that this behavior was "old school Rex." Rex tried to explain that he
wanted to celebrate and be irresponsible. "Do you want to be with Stacy?" Bo
asked. "No. I don't know," Rex replied. Bo reminded Rex that he helped him
last year when he was so depressed. "You weren't the guy you were a few
years ago," Bo reminded him. Bo added that Rex would always have Shane to
look after. "Get out of here," Bo said with a serious look on is face. Rex
exited and told Stacy that the police wouldn't press charges. Stacy hoped to
continue where they had left off, but Rex was very brisk with her and rushed
off. Stacy looked puzzled, even a little hurt.
Téa accused Blair of trying to orchestrate getting Todd back into her life.
Blair told Téa she was deranged. Téa asked about the whereabouts of Blair's
"husband" John. Blair explained that there had been something between her
and John, but it wasn't there anymore because of "Marty Saybrooke." Blair
snapped. Téa reminded Blair of her death bed confession. Blair happily gave
Todd to Téa. She added that Todd would do anything for his kids but "he'd
never drop anything for me. It's over. Past tense," Blair said sadly. She
reminded Téa that Todd's feelings for Téa were "present tense."
"Are you going to fight me for Todd or go after Marty for John?" Téa asked.
"Neither," Blair said. Blair pushed Téa about "the secret she'd never told
another soul." Téa wasn't talking.
Todd interrupted the ladies. Téa wondered where everyone would live. Blair
announced that everyone would be living at LaBoulaie. Todd just smiled. Todd
offered to hire someone to watch Téa 24/7. Todd went off to pack. Todd's
parting words were that Cole was going to prison for 2 years and that he'd
given his blessing for Cole to marry Starr in one day.
Marty paid Viki a visit with a huge bouquet of flowers for Jessica. "It's a
monstrous thing to bury your own child," Viki explained. Marty told Viki
that Hope was back with Starr. She went on to explain that Cole was going to
prison. Viki was understandably shocked. Over tea and cookies, the women
discussed Cole's predicament. Marty was worried about Cole's experience in
prison. Viki didn't know what to say. Viki said Hope had been her
granddaughter for a few months and now was "my grand niece." Viki assured
Marty that everything would be okay.
Tuesday
Mo told Viki and Charlie that Dorian fired him. Moe explained that everything was fine until Ray left town. Markko's dad overheard Moe badmouthing Dorian. Charlie recounted the time Dorian poured liquor down his throat. "This woman is a monster. Why is she not in prison?" he asked. "Good question," Viki replied
Langston told Dorian that Markko's dad called her a tramp at the country club. Dorian wanted his number. Langston begged Dorian to talk to Markko's dad. Dorian suggested Langston tone down her look. "Pretty much not being me," Langston said. Dorian thought they should work on the mom not the dad. "She loves the boy. She wants him to be happy," Dorian exclaimed. Dorian invited Mrs. Rivera over for tea. Dorian tried to explain that the kitchen was the center of her home. Dorian apologized for her behavior at the graduation party. Aurelia pointed out that Dorian had been drinking. Dorian agreed and said that she was upset. Langston showed up wearing a very demure dress. Dorian gushed over Langston. Aurelia remembered what it felt like to be in love, but she added that she and her husband waited (for sex) until they got married. "And I want no less for my son," she added. Dorian kept Langston from exploding. Dorian tried to explain that you have to "respect your children's beliefs." Aurelia reminded them that pre-martial sex was a sin. Dorian and Langston got through to her and she agreed to talk to Markko's dad. However, he wouldn't listen to his wife after he had learned all the awful things about Dorian from his new friends at the diner.
Rachel helped Shaun look for a job. Shaun mentioned being a personal trainer. Rachel thought that was a good idea and the two made plans to work out later.
Bo, Clint, Nora and Matthew had lunch at the country club. Clint wanted to celebrate with his family. Clint presented Nora with an engagement ring. "It took my breath away," she said. Bo watched them kiss and looked somewhat uncomfortable. Bo gave a toast to the engaged couple. Clint told them he had found a doctor for Matthew. "A neurosurgeon who thinks Matthew can walk again," Clint told the stunned parents. Bo and Nora held hands as Clint
explained. Matthew didn't want to talk about doctors and he didn't need another pep talk.
Rachel arrived at the club and bumped into a handsome, well-dressed man. He was looking for Clint. She brought him to the table and we learned he was Dr. Greg Evans.
Rex took Shane for a check up. Shane told the doctor he didn't like living with his mom. The doctor said that Shane was still in remission but asked if Rex was still in touch with the donor. "He lives with her," Shane offered. Shane called his mom a bad name and Rex immediately jumped to Gigi's defense.
Natalie and Jared grumpily agreed to meet with Gigi. She asked them to dump the charges against Kyle. "No way," snapped Natalie. "My brother is so lucky to be rid of you," Natalie said, pointing her finger at Gigi. Natalie reminded her that Rex broke Adriana's heart for Gigi. Jared and Natalie rattled off all the bad things that Kyle had done. Natalie didn't understand why Gigi would want to drop the charges. Gigi said it had to do with Shane but she couldn't give up any details. "You'll just have to trust me," Gigi begged. "I still love him," Gigi explained. Schuyler told
Gigi that she'd have to tell them the truth. Natalie and Jared listened intently and were furious to learn that Schuyler knew "the secret." Schuyler told them that Gigi hadn't slept with him, Kyle or Brody. Natalie was surprised to hear that.
Schuyler had a face off with Kyle at the gym and demanded he tell him the name of the real donor. Kyle said he'd spill only if Natalie and Jared dropped the charges again him. Kyle wouldn't tell him anything. Fish showed up at the gym and told a surprised Kyle that he was dating and living with Layla.
Fish asked Cristian if he was interested in Layla. Cristian assured him he was not but was concerned for Layla's happiness. Fish suggested Layla look into the police force as a possible career option. Cristian laughed and Layla pretended to hit him. Cristian then apologized and said Layla could do anything she put her mind to.
Wednesday
The Buchanans were pleased to meet Dr. Greg. He didn't want to talk about
his family's dirty laundry. Greg was convinced that he could "absolutely
help your son." Rachel and Greg started to argue. Rachel didn't want Greg
to "play" her family. Destiny ran into Greg's arms. The Buchanans were
uncomfortably quiet because of the tension between Greg, Shaun and Destiny.
Destiny thought Greg had come because she asked him too. Shaun immediately
pointed out that it was because there was a nice big Buchanan check for him.
Destiny asked her big brother if that was true. Greg told his sister that he
came because of her. Shaun still didn't believe him, but she did. Greg
thought he could help Matthew and Matthew thanked Destiny. Later, Destiny
agreed with Nora that it didn't matter why Greg came to Llanview, it was
just great that he could help Matthew.
Rex ran into Brody in the steam room. Rex asked Brody how it felt to be
dumped by Gigi. Rex continued to berate him. Brody said it was now his turn
to tell Rex something he didn't know. He hinted that there might be another
explanation for what happened. Rex asked Brody to explain it to him. "Just
trust her," Brody said. Rex said he could take his advice and shove it. Rex
said there was only one person he trusted now and that was Stacy. Brody
thought that was a bad choice, but added he couldn't break Gigi's
confidence. "Screw Gigi's confidence and screw you," Rex said.
Stacy held her first ballet class at Rex's club. Jessica brought Bree to her
first dance class and learned that Stacy, yes THAT Stacy, was the teacher.
The women exchanged barbs. Stacy thought that Jessica had hurt more people
than she did. "I was mentally ill. What's your excuse?" Jessica took Bree
out of the class. Jessica told Stacy that Gigi and Rex would find their way
back to each other and stormed out. Stacy remembered that Rex had just
given her the brush-off and she told the little girls that they wouldn't be
dancing at Lincoln Center. They would become strippers in Vegas. "I want to go home," one of the girls said. Stacy told them they could have all of their dreams if they worked hard. Rex showed up and listened to Stacy. Later, as he sipped a beer, he told Stacy he wanted her. She was very happy.
Schuyler tried to defend Gigi's honor but Natalie would hear none of it.
Natalie called Gigi a slut. Schuyler begged Gigi to tell Natalie and Jared
the truth. She called them back and tried to explain that dropping the
charges against Kyle was a life and death matter for her son. Gigi began to
tell them all about Stacy and her blackmailing. Schuyler assisted in
recounting. Gigi made it clear that it was all about Stacy. Gigi made it
clear that she was pretending to have an affair so "I could break Rex's
heart." Natalie was very upset about the whole scenario. Schuyler explained
that Kyle was their only option. Jared thought Rex was another option. "If
Stacy lost Rex, she would burn him," Gigi added. Jared was stunned that
Stacy could be that cruel. "I need to know the name of the real donor," Gigi
said. Natalie said she would do anything but couldn't keep another secret.
She would drop the charges against Kyle if Gigi would tell Rex the truth
immediately.
Dorian and Langston celebrated their victory with Aurelia with ice tea. "I
hope it works," Langston said crossing her fingers. At the diner, Aurelia
tried to convince Ernesto that Dr. Lord was a fine woman. Ernesto simply
said that Langston had corrupted their son. Markko stood and shook his head.
Markko tried to convince his father that Dorian and Langston are two
separate people.
Markko brought a delivery to Langston's and gave her a big kiss. Dorian
apologized to Markko for having spilled the beans about them having sex.
Markko said that Ernesto now knows all about the bad things Dorian had done
in the past. Dorian was convinced she could fix everything with
Ernesto by inviting all the people she had wronged over for dinner. "I
intend to charm the pants off your father," Dorian proclaimed. Markko and
Langston didn't think that dinner would happen. Dorian would ask Shaun first
and began making calls.
Thursday
Todd introduced Téa to her staff, which included Moe and Shaun. They would
take care of Téa, as she lived alone in Todd's house. "You'll have the
best of everything," Todd said. Téa wanted nothing to do with the staff.
Todd ignored Téa's request to dump them. "Why are you so adamant about me
staying here?" Téa asked. "I like having you around," Todd admitted. Todd
then said that there was no way Cole "that drug addict" would marry his
daughter. Téa changed her mind and decided to keep the staff as she was
unemployed and uninsured. Todd kissed Téa goodbye and left. Téa replayed (on
her handy dandy recorder) the conversation Todd had had saying that Cole
would never ever marry Starr.
Blair asked Starr if there was something she needed to tell her. She first
said no but then said that she and Cole would be getting married before he
goes to prison. Starr insisted that Blair wasn't going to change her mind.
"If I can raise my baby, why can't I marry her father?" Starr asked. "You
are throwing away your youth," Blair said trying to convince her daughter to
wait. Blair asked Starr what she would do if Hope were 17 asking for
permission to marry her boyfriend who was heading "to the slammer." Starr
had to think about that one. Starr hoped that Hope wouldn't have to go
through what she did at 17. "I know what I want," Starr said. "Like you
knew what you wanted when you gave up your baby for adoption," Blair
countered. Blair made it clear she wants Starr to wait to marry Cole. Cole
entered the kitchen and said Hope had fallen asleep. Todd arrived and called
dibs on the big guest room. Blair told her ex she was stunned he had given
his approval to the Starr and Cole wedding.
Cole and Marty pushed Hope in her carriage in the park. "You are too young
to be a grandma," Cole said before he broke the news to Marty about the
marriage and stunned her with the news that Todd was "on board with this."
Marty tried to get him to change his mind. "I wish you didn't have to go to
prison," Marty said wistfully. Cole played with Hope's little hand. Marty
called someone on her asking for help.
Natalie told Gigi she'd drop the charges against Kyle if and only if Gigi
would tell Rex the truth. Gigi didn't want to until she learned the real
name of the donor. Jared reminded them they were talking about Rex who still
loves Gigi. "I never stopped loving him. I'm going to get back the man I
love," Gigi vowed. Roxy called Natalie and demanded she come over right way.
Jared and Natalie headed out to drop the charges. Gigi wondered what might
happen if Rex didn't believe her. Schuyler gave Gigi a good luck hug as she
hurried out to tell Rex the truth. Stacy ran into Rodi's and told Schuyler
that she and Rex had just made love. Uh-oh.
Rex and Stacy had sex on the mats at Ultraviolet. "It was everything I
imagined it would be," Stacy beamed. Rex's face immediately showed regret.
Rex remembered when Stacy drugged him. "How long were you thinking about us
getting together?" Rex asked Stacy, who was busy toasting their new
relationship with champagne. Stacy lied and said it was since they almost
made love in the cabana. Stacy kissed him goodbye. Rex wiped his mouth and
found his phone under one of the mats. Gigi had left a message. Rex winced.
Gigi arrived at Ultra Violet. "Morasco, I'm glad you are here. I have
something to tell you," Rex said. Gigi looked apprehensive.
Kyle asked Roxy for a favor. He took out his phone and threatened to call
the cops etc. about the identity of the name of Shane's donor. Roxy agreed to
convince Natalie and Jared to drop the charges against Kyle. Natalie figured
out that Kyle knows who the real donor is. Roxy's reaction made it clear
that Natalie was right. "We want to know who Shane's donor is and we want to
know now," Natalie insisted.
Friday
Marty asked John if he could help her and Cole disappear. "The idea of him
going to Statesville makes me physically sick," Marty said. "He could be an
easy mark in there," John agreed. Marty refused to let Cole go to prison.
John didn't think that running away was an option. Marty thought Cole and
Starr were too young to marry. Marty was furious that Asher was getting off
scot free. "I doesn't make any sense to me," she said. John began to think
and headed off somewhere. John showed up in Bo's office and said he'd take
his job back under one condition.
Téa listened to Todd's threats against Cole on her little recording device.
Shaun walked in. "Are you sure you want to cross Todd Manning?" Shaun asked.
"I've been dealing with Todd since Clinton was in office, Bill Clinton," Téa
said. Téa claimed that she can handle Todd better than anyone, even his
ex-wife. Shaun pointed out that Todd does care about Téa but immediately
began to rave about how great Blair was as a person and how fab she looked,
much to Téa's annoyance. "It's like they are meant to be together," Shaun
observed.
Blair and Todd began arguing about Starr's future. Blair told the teens she
understood and would give them her consent. Starr and Cole were very happy.
Blair signed the paperwork and shoved the paperwork to Todd. "I thought you
wanted Cole and Starr to get married?" Blair asked. "I can answer that,"
said Téa who entered the kitchen dressed to kill. Téa assured Todd that she
was fine. Téa played the recording and everyone heard Todd's desire to kill
Cole. Starr asked Todd why he lied to her. "I'm trying to look out for you,"
Todd tried to explain. Starr and Cole stormed out. Todd was furious with
Téa. Todd did his best to convince Starr he loved her. Starr wasn't buying
anything her father said.
Roxy lied to Natalie that Stacy was a match for Shane. Natalie demanded that
Roxy tell her the truth. Roxy dodged the question. "I know you know who [the
donor] is," Jared yelled. Natalie screamed at her mother that Roxy had known
what Stacy was up to and didn't tell Rex the truth. Natalie stormed out and
Jared followed. Kyle got a call and learned that the charges were dropped.
Roxy took full credit, but it was actually Gigi who convinced Natalie and
Jared to drop them. Kyle signed the papers. Kyle thanked Natalie and Jared
but they made it clear they wanted something in return: the name of the real
donor of Shane's stem cells.
Stacy gloated as she told Schuyler she and Rex had made love. "That's your
good news? That you had sex with Rex?" Schuyler asked. He begged her not to
tell Gigi. Schuyler wondered why Stacy and Rex weren't basking in the
afterglow. "You know damn well that Rex still wants her," Schuyler said.
Gigi needs to know "I won" Stacy insisted. Schuyler refused to tell Stacy
where Gigi was. "You are going to get caught," Schuyler assured his
ex-girlfriend.
Gigi began to tell Rex the truth about what Stacy had done. "Why is everyone
so hell-bent on warning me against Stacy?" Rex asked. Gigi begged Rex to
listen. "She's evil. She used our son to break us up," Gigi added. "She
saved our son's life," Rex said. "Stacy is not his donor," Gigi told a
stunned Rex. Rex didn't believe her and accused her of making up the story.
Gigi tried to explain that Stacy had been obsessed with Rex since high
school. Stacy didn't care that Shane was sick. "She was going to let him die
if she couldn't have you," Gigi added. Rex's eyes grew huge. Gigi continued
to tell Rex the whole story, including her deal with God. Rex asked Gigi why
she hadn't told him the truth from the beginning. "It was all lies to save
Shane. I have never stopped loving you," Gigi admitted. "I didn't cheat on
you ever," she added. "Like hell you didn't," Rex replied as he walked away.
Gigi swore she never slept with Brody, Schuyler or anyone else. "I love
you," she repeated. Rex wished she had told him earlier. "Oh my god," Rex
kept saying as he remembered having sex with Stacy. Gigi explained that
Schuyler had had tests proving that Stacy didn't donate the stem cells. "I
know it's crazy," Gigi said. "It's more than crazy," Rex agreed. Gigi was so
relieved that she had told him everything. "Now all I want is you," she
added holding Rex's hands. Stacy showed up. "What's going on?" she asked as
she walked in on Gigi telling Rex she still loved him.
Nora visited Bo at the police station. He said they were short handed. Nora
asked how he was doing. Matthew was apparently very excited about what Dr.
Evans could do for him. Bo was less convinced. Nora thought Bo might jealous
that Clint found the doctor. Natalie and Jared entered the police station
and said they decided to drop the charges against Kyle. Nora reminded them
that was her decision as the DA. "Why would you do that?" both Nora and Bo
wondered. Natalie and Jared thought testifying against Kyle would bring
things back for Jessica. Bo and Nora understood where they were coming from.
