One Life To Live Recaps

OLTL Week of January 11, 2010

Monday

Kim came home from a successful day at BE to discover that Stacy was nearly abducted by Mitch. Stacy proudly explained how she was able to fend off Mitch and his shady nurse with her self-defense skills, and beamed as she described Rex's concerned reaction to finding her in peril.

At Llanfair, Bo informed Viki and Charlie that Lowell is now the police commissioner and had John arrested. Natalie walked in and announced that she stabbed Mitch. Meanwhile, Elijah warned John that the new commish has it out for John. Nora waltzed into Lowell's new office and informed him that she can't prosecute John. Lowell wanted to know why. Jessica walked in and offered her "confession" to Mitch's stabbing. Marty then arrived and claimed that she killed John, followed by Cole with the same statement. John knew something was up when he saw Cole, Marty and Jessica outside Lowell's office. Nora asked her new boss how she should proceed and Lowell realized that he couldn't prosecute McBain, so he fired the chief of detectives instead.

Over at La Boulaie, Dorian reluctantly waited on Mitch hand and foot. Mitch accused her of poisoning his eggs and said he couldn't promise not to hurt Starr, pointing out that he knows she's staying at Todd's. Dorian took his food away, and when her back was turned, he dumped his coffee in a potted plant. Mitch demanded that she give him some cash to fund his big plans, but the doorbell interrupted their conversation. Dorian answered the door to a very angry Charlie, who began to ream her out for Lowell's appointment. Meanwhile, Mitch spoke with Lowell and admonished him for letting John out of custody. Mitch reminded him that "the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away." Lowell was clearly spooked. John and Nora went to Llanfair to give Natalie the good news. Natalie thanked John with a tender hug. It was the first time Nora and Clint had crossed paths since the ball, and Clint was cold toward Nora. She asked if they could be more civil toward one another, but Clint just said his lawyer would be in touch.

Starr griped to her mom and dad that sharing a room with Langston is not exactly restful, thanks to her pal's snoring. Once Starr was gone, Blair advised Todd to find a "simple pleasure" to get his mind off Téa. He assumed she meant sex with her, but Blair had Elijah on her mind. When she ran into him at the PD later, they ended up going at it in Lowell's new office. Meanwhile, Cole and Todd crossed hairs at Todd's and Cole suggested that Starr move out since she's about to turn 18. Starr loved the idea, but Todd whined, "I'm gonna lose another daughter," which gave Starr pause.

In Tahiti, Danielle was still mourning her "father," Ross, who happened to be standing outside. Téa tried to make her feel better by suggesting they say a prayer in a spot that Ross loved. Ross sneaked into the bungalow while they were out, and started going through Téa's wallet. When they returned, Danielle found Ross's necklace — the one he was wearing when he went off the bridge — resting on a framed photo of them. Dani tucked the necklace away so her mom wouldn't see. Just as they were packing up to leave, Danielle came face to face with Ross.

Clint dropped in on Stacy and Kim to inform Kim that he needs her help jumpstarting the divorce. Kim claimed she has to find a new place to live first, so Clint kindly offered her a room at the mansion. Kim acted like she couldn't possibly put him out, but ultimately accepted the invite. Meanwhile, Mitch gratefully took a handout from Dorian, who pulled out a small bottle (presumably poison) once he was gone.

Tuesday

As he gazed at a photo of Danielle on his phone, Matthew told Bo he can't believe former mayor Lowell took his dad's job. Bo asked if Matthew is having "girl trouble," which made Matt squirm. Nevertheless, Matthew admitted that he kissed Dani and can't stop thinking about her.

In Tahiti, Danielle was thrilled to see her "father" back from the dead and ran into his arms. Ross explained how he survived the fall and said they can get back to being a family again if she leaves with him. Téa walked in and shielded Dani from Ross, telling him she's not going anywhere. Danielle said she couldn't go with Ross because she'd miss Téa too much and asked that they try all living together. Téa reminded Danielle that Ross is dangerous, but Dani knew he was just acting out of desperation. She pleaded with her mom to try to work things out with Ross, who pointed out that her mother is in love with someone else. When Ross realized that Danielle tried to shoot Todd, he finally admitted that he's not her father and Todd is.

Starr asked Todd what he meant when he said he didn't want to lose "another daughter," but he backtracked and explained he doesn't want to lose her again. Cole told Todd he's serious about living with Starr and Hope, and said he wants to keep his own daughter close. Todd advised Starr that she's just not ready for this, but Starr insisted she's old and mature enough to make her own decisions. Unbeknownst to Cole and Starr, however, Markko offered to let Langston stay with him because he doesn't like her staying at Todd's.

Clint escorted Kim to the mansion and introduced their new houseguest to Renee, who was not pleased. His attorney called to let Clint know that the divorce papers were on their way to Nora. Clint couldn't wait to see his wife fume.

After a romp with Blair — which David interrupted — Eli told Blair to call him anytime, then ran into Nora at the PD. She'd just received her divorce papers and dragged Eli over to the Buchanan mansion, which is really Nora's home, to confront Clint about the $42 million he wants in pain and suffering. Eli suggested that they just put the mansion on the market. Kim pulled Clint aside and pointed out that there are plenty of other ways to burn Nora, so why not keep the house in exchange for dropping the lawsuit? He decided that she was right and announced to Nora that he's ready to make a deal, then coldly told her to get out.

David ran over to Bo's suite at the Palace and told Bo he wants Ford arrested for stealing his reality show and putting it on the Internet. Nora walked in and David tried to hug "Stepmommy Dearest." "I'm not your stepmommy," Nora barked, then informed Bo that there's a tramp living with Clint. David did a double take when he heard the name Kimberly Andrews and headed to the mansion. Nora pointed out to Bo how stupid it is that they're still living separately and haven't made love yet. Bo assured her that he wants to make love when it's right. David, meanwhile, arrived at the mansion to find Kim doing a celebratory dance in the living room and told her he knows all about her.

Blair returned to Todd's to find him in the midst of an argument with Starr. Todd told her that Starr wants to live with Cole, so Blair pulled Todd aside and said they have to let her go. Todd reluctantly agreed that she's right. Starr was thrilled, and ran upstairs with Cole to grab Hope's things. Starr and Todd shared a surprisingly sweet good-bye and she assured her parents that she's happy with her choice. Blair fought back tears as she watched her daughter leave, then hightailed it to the Palace for some sexual healing with Elijah. Cole and Starr, meanwhile, arrived at their apartment to find Langston and Markko getting in on in the next room. They began to dress and announced that they're moving in together. Uh-oh. So are Starr and Cole, Starr told their new roommates.

Wednesday

When Rex asked if Stacy made Kim move out on account of him, she said Kim got an offer she couldn't refuse. Jessica arrived and Stacy caught her up on the threat Mitch and Nurse Charles posed to her the other day. Jessica was sympathetic as Stacy explained how Mitch basically considers her a "human incubator" and wants to take Rex's baby. When Jessica asked about Stacy's due date, she thought back to Kim coaching her on fast-tracking the pregnancy and claimed it was February 14. While Stacy was supposedly in the bathroom, Jessica suggested to Rex that he and Gigi might still be together if it weren't for Stacy, but Rex wasn't so sure. Jess suggested he hire a cop to moonlight as a bodyguard to protect Stacy and the baby.

At the Buchanan mansion, David confronted Kim about the "secret" she's been keeping. Kim pretended not to know who Nevil is, but David knew that Kim conned Nevil into impersonating Nigel to tell Clint about his "cheating" wife. Kim accused David of feigning concern for Clint when he's really worried about her getting his due fortune. David told her to get out of Clint's life ASAP or he'll tell Clint the truth about her. Kim stepped forward and admitted to Clint that she overheard Nevil tell Nigel about Bo and Nora and persuaded Nevil to pose as Nigel. To David's dismay, Clint thanked Kim for helping him learn the truth and kicked David to the curb! Once David was gone, Clint warned Kim that he knows she wasn't looking out for his best interests when she conned Nevil.

Ross confessed to Danielle that he's not her biological father, and Téa backed up his claim, explaining that she slept with Todd just once before she and Ross got together. Dani refused to believe it, so Téa produced the DNA test results. She went on to explain that she was very much in love with Todd when Danielle was conceived but let him go because he was in love with someone else. Danielle was dumbfounded, and even more shocked to hear that Todd knows she is his daughter, complaining that he creeps her out. Ross beseeched Dani to give her real father a chance. Danielle asked if he'sgoing to keep running from the law, but Ross said that depends on Téa. Téa agreed not to give up Ross to the authorities if Dani comes back to Llanview with her and tries to get to know Todd.

Meanwhile, Todd was startled by a visit from Mitch, who quietly slipped into his house. Mitch marveled at how much Todd looks like his late brother, Walker, and announced that Todd owes him a favor. Todd knew Mitch wasn't messing around when he started talking about Starr and Danielle. Mitch indirectly threatened to eliminate Cole if it would help Todd get Starr back. Todd refused to take part in Mitch's plan to reunite with Jessica and Rex and asked Mitch to leave. On his way out, Mitch grumbled to himself that Todd would regret his decision.

At Cole's apartment, Starr and Cole explained to Markko and Langston that Starr's not a little girl anymore and left her dad's house whether he was cool with it or not. Meanwhile, Ford stopped by Cristian and Layla's apartment to pick Cris up for the gym. When he got a call letting him know that there's no graduate student housing available, Layla suggested he rent one of the empty apartments in their building. Fish, Cris and Layla then put their heads together and decided that Ford could just stay with them, pointing out that Fish spends most of his time at Kyle's, and Cris and Layla are sharing a room anyway.

Thursday

Dorian stopped by Todd's with a birthday gift for Starr and was surprised to hear that she and Langston are no longer staying there. Blair refused to be caught in the middle of Dorian's feud with Langston. Dorian berated Blair for letting the girls go off and live with their boyfriends, then announced that she appointed Lowell because of her love for her family. Blair's stance on Dorian's decision didn't change. David, meanwhile, stopped by Cole's apartment to tell Markko about the huge lawsuit they're going to bring against The Coward Robert Ford (a.k.a Ford). He and lawyer Elijah popped in the DVD they have as evidence against him and Markko was appalled to see Ford making out with a young actress who looked suspiciously like Langston. "I think her name is Brittany something," muttered David. Eli started "sexting" with Blair and hardly paid attention as David raved about how much money they're going to win from the suit.

After Ford's first night at Fish's apartment, the hunky grad student asked Fish to "crack" his stiff back when Kyle walked in on the compromising position. Fish introduced the shirtless stud to Kyle, who wasn't amused by their chiropractic explanation. Fish got defensive, but Kyle assured his BF that he was just pretending to be jealous. In an apartment in the same building, Greg helped Schuyler move in with Rachel and seemed a bit threatened by his girlfriend's living situation. Greg and Gigi stepped out for coffee, and Rachel commented on how cool Gigi is about him moving in with a girl. Langston showed up to look at the apartment, but Schuyler informed her that he'd just signed the lease. Langston was clearly disappointed, then walked down the hall to Layla and Fish's place and was shocked to see Ford there sans shirt. He asked how her musical was going and offered to help. When Langston mentioned that she and Markko are looking for an apartment together, he asked if she's sure that Markko's the "one."

Rex accompanied a nervous Stacy to her latest ob/gyn appointment. The doctor did a double take when she heard Stacy tell another patient that her due date is Valentine's Day. The woman asked how Stacy could stay so petite, and Stacy accused the woman of "eating like a horse." Rex wondered why Stacy was acting so strange but still left at her request without batting an eyelash. The doc, however, guessed that her baby isn't Rex's and noted that when Valentine's Day rolls around, Stacy won't even be close to giving birth.

Rex rounded a corner in the hallway of Fish's apartment building and ran right into Schuyler and Gigi kissing. They broke from their kiss, and Rex explained that he's there to find Fish because he needs a bodyguard for Stacy. When Schuyler heard that Stacy's in trouble, he ran right over to the hospital and interrupted Stacy's appointment to ask why she didn't tell him that their baby is in danger. Fellow med student Kyle walked in and overheard Schuyler saying that the baby she's carrying is his. Uh-oh!

Dorian arrived at Cole's apartment in search of Langston and came face to face with David. He asked how he could have fired his father and replaced him with Lowell, and told her that they have nothing to say to each other. Markko found out where Ford is staying, then marched over to Fish's apartment. He was stunned to walk in on Langston and a (still) shirtless Ford sitting on the couch together. Meanwhile, Eli answered Blair's booty call and made his way to Todd's. While he was tempted by her sexy outfit, he expressed reservations about going at it in her ex-husband's home.

Friday

Mitch ran into Natalie, Jessica, Charlie and Viki at the Buenos Dias and did his best to ruffle their feathers with Bible quotes and veiled threats. He goaded Charlie into grabbing him by the collar, but Viki persuaded him to let Mitch go. Mitch was pleased with himself as each of them delivered a few harsh words before storming out. Viki found Charlie tossing garbage cans around outside and urged him to calm down, but Charlie ran off in a rage. Viki glanced inside the window of the restaurant and made eye contact with Mitch.

John and Brody tied up Dorian at Rodi's and tried to force her to admit why she appointed Lowell. She balked at their suggestion that Mitch is blackmailing her, but inadvertently revealed that she's trying to protect her family. John warned her to be careful. Dorian suggested that the only way to stop Mitch is to kill him and she wasn't sure John was about to do that. Natalie and Jessica arrived just after they let Dorian go. Brody told Jessica that he thinks they got through to Dorian, while Natalie lamented to John how much she hates that he was fired.

Markko asked Langston why she's spending time with shirtless Ford and told her about the girl in Ford's TV show who looks just like Langston. Lang seemed slightly flattered, to Markko's dismay. While Langston tried to explain herself to her jealous boyfriend, David and Ford managed to come to an agreement about the residuals from their TV show. Before leaving with Langston, Markko told Ford that his Internet show is terrible.

After Kyle overheard Schuyler say that he's the dad of Stacy's baby, Stacy pleaded with Kyle to keep their secret. Kyle was shocked when Schuyler defended Stacy, but Schuyler reminded his fellow med student not to compromise patient privacy. To Rex's great relief, Fish agreed to put in some hours outside of his police work to watch over Stacy. Fish phoned Kyle in the middle of his confrontation with Schuyler and said he has to run something by Kyle. Schuyler was relieved when Kyle agreed not to blab that Stacy's baby isn't really Rex's.

Dorian wandered into a roadside bar wearing sunglasses and a hat and ordered a dry martini. Viki left a message for Charlie, who ignored her call and approached the same bar. Mitch, meanwhile, read aloud Bible passages at the Lord Mausoleum. Charlie took at a seat at the bar and ordered a double vodka, unaware that Dorian was at a table nearby.
