One Life To Live Recaps

OLTL Week of February 22, 2010

Monday

At the hospital, John bumped into Todd as he was dictating a sensational headline about the cop. Todd pushed John's buttons by implying that he's planning to sleep with Natalie behind Marty's back. Natalie, on crutches after the car accident, hobbled over to Jessica's hospital room to find out about her sister's condition. Meanwhile, Jess was asking a nurse what year it is. Marty explained to Natalie, Brody, Viki and Clint that Jessica can't remember anything that happened after she was 17. Natalie wanted to talk to Jessica regardless, and it was awkward when Jess brought up in front of Marty that Nat used to date John. Trying to grasp that she has a twin from another father in addition to a dead sister (Megan) and three brothers, Jessica was completely overwhelmed. Viki explained to Jessica that she's survived a traumatic experience and this is natural. When Jessica learned that she has a daughter, she asked if "that cop" is the dad, referring to Brody, who was kicking around the hallway. Nora brought in Bree for a visit and Jessica covered well for the child's sake, then tearfully admitted to her parents that she's scared.

Meanwhile, when the doctor needed consent to perform heart surgery on Sierra Rose, Schuyler was forced to admit that he is Sierra Rose's father. Gigi was confused, and Rex explained that he'd just learned this as well. At the carriage house, Bo tried to distract Shane, who was eager to see his new "sister." Bo phoned Rex and asked if he could put Shane on. Rex told Shane it's not a good idea for him to come to the hospital and that he'd be home soon to tell him everything. Before Rex headed out to see Shane, Gigi asked him to please tell Shane she'll be home as soon as she can. Alone, Gigi wept in the hospital.

Fish took Kyle back to his suite at the Angel Square Hotel and observed that Fish didn't seem very concerned about the baby. Fish told Kyle that it's clear Schuyler's the dad and asked his boyfriend to just let it go. Kyle didn't want to and asked why Fish was being so weird. Kyle pressed Fish to admit that he's really distancing himself from the truth because he doesn't think a gay couple has a chance of raising this baby. When Fish wasn't looking, Kyle sealed Fish's used water bottle in a plastic bag, presumably for a secret DNA test.

Back at the carriage house, Rex explained to Shane that the baby needs an operation and that she was born premature, meaning Rex is not the dad. Shane asked who is, and Rex told Shane that Schuyler is Sierra Rose's dad. After the difficult talk, Bo commended Rex on the poise he'd shown with Shane and told him to call on his pal anytime. Once Bo was gone, Shane asked Rex to stay and expressed his hope that his parents will get back together. Meanwhile, Gigi crossed paths with Schuyler and unleashed her anger on him. Schuyler nervously explained that yes, Stacy did get pregnant by Rex, but she miscarried and embarked on a mission to get pregnant by someone else. Gigi asked just how long Schuyler knew Stacy was carrying someone else's baby. When she realized that Schuyler had been conspiring with Stacy for some time, she made it clear to him that this changes everything between them.

Tuesday

After Téa failed to accompany Danielle to her first day at Llanview High, Danielle and Matthew found a note back at her hotel suite. Dani assumed her mom was busy with Todd. Téa, meanwhile, had responded to Rachel's SOS after finding oxytocin in Schuyler's bag. She advised Rachel that Schuyler would be in big trouble if he did indeed administer the drug to Stacy and something happened to the baby. Téa offered to represent Schuyler as a favor to Rachel. She took the vial off Rachel's hands and recommended that this be the last secret Rachel keeps from Schuyler.

Blair walked in on Todd cursing out an employee over the phone and asked why he is so worked up. Todd revealed that Téa moved out, and wasted no time pulling Blair into a passionate kiss. Blair pushed him away, and Todd wondered if her hesitation has to do with Eli. She admitted that they are having sex, but that's it. Todd wanted to have no-strings-attached sex, too, but Blair told him to move on.

Shane pressured his dad about a possible reunion with Gigi, but Rex wasn't sure that'd be so easy. Roxy came running in with the news about Stacy's baby, but Rex and Shane said they already know Stacy lied about her baby's father. Echoing Shane's request, Roxy urged Rex to get Gigi back pronto.

At the hospital, Schuyler begged Gigi for another chance, but she was livid that he'd lied to her for months. Realizing that his actions had indirectly led to her death on the mountain, she really let loose on Schuyler. He explained that he was scared of losing Gigi and that's why he kept Stacy's secret. Gigi couldn't even look at him and said she just wanted to be with the baby right now.

When Dani no longer wanted to talk about her problems with Matthew, she suggested they make good use of the empty hotel room. Danielle made it clear she wanted to do "it," but Matthew suggested she's not ready. Danielle admitted that someone at school had referred to her as "the rapist's daughter" and she just wants to get Todd's crime out of her head. Matthew didn't think sex was the answer and suggested it will take time for her to be okay with who her father is. Téa interrupted just as they started kissing by the fire, so Danielle showed him the door. She thanked him for being so cool and kissed him once more.

Clint scolded Kim for mistreating Nigel and explained that he's dealing with two daughters in the hospital right now. Kim quietly informed him that Stacy is dead. Clint was sympathetic as she expressed her regret at leaving Stacy alone and curled up in bed with the grieving girl. At the hospital, Gigi and Schuyler each took a moment alone with baby Sierra before her surgery. Rex arrived and told Gigi she's not going to go through this alone. She agreed that she could use a friend, and glanced over in Schuyler's direction before walking off with Rex.

Wednesday

While setting up for the Snoop Dogg concert, Cristian asked Ford if his "new girl" is coming to Capricorn, but Ford said she's not really into commitment. While Langston was thinking about Ford, Markko suddenly came up behind her. She rejected his advances and when he pointed out her odd behavior, she claimed she was distracted by the musical. Langston and Markko walked in on Cole and Starr making out. Upon hearing that their babysitter cancelled, Lang jumped at the chance to babysit. Markko, believing that Langston wanted some quiet time to work on the musical, agreed to go to the concert without her.

Danielle saw Téa trying to hide the vial of oxytocin in their hotel suite and asked why she's hiding drugs. Téa explained that it's an exhibit for a case. Danielle opened the door to face her new brother, Jack, who rudely asked, "Who the hell are you?" Jack explained that he came over to meet his little sister and didn't imagine she'd be a teenager. Téa phoned a concerned Todd to let him know that Jack was at her place and he basically bit her head off. She resumed playing referee between Danielle and Jack, and admitted to Jack that she did take her time telling his dad about Danielle.

At Capricorn, Greg brought up the oxytocin with Rachel, but she wanted to drop the subject. Greg received a call from someone at the hospital and reported that the ethics committee is planning to investigate Schuyler. Rachel defended Schuyler, saying there's no evidence to support that he stole any drugs. Destiny interrupted their argument and started talking about how things didn't work out between her and Matthew. Greg ran into his ex-lover, Dr. Wright, and was stunned to learn that she's dating Shaun now. Destiny, meanwhile, relayed to Rachel that she's sensing a little tension between her and Greg. Mr. and Mrs. Evans showed up and sailed right past Rachel to greet Vivian, calling her "Dr. Right."

Bo and Nora spotted lipstick on Matthew's face. Matt nervously explained that he "hugged" Danielle and her lip gloss must have rubbed off on him. Bo confided to Nora that he knew Dani and Matthew had kissed once before, but he didn't know they were dating. Nora wasn't sure about their son being involved Todd's daughter, pointing out she's prosecuted Todd and Bo's arrested him more times than they can count.

Snoop Dogg chilled out in his limo on the way to Llanview and announced, "The boss is back." He then put on his headphones and rocked out to his special version of the OLTL theme song. Once he was done, he resumed his monologue about his big plans for Llanview, including checking out Blair Cramer's curves. But first, he had to see an old friend. Snoop stopped by the garret with tickets for Bo and his family to his gig at "The Cap." When he saw that Bo and Nora are back together, he cryptically noted that Asa finally got his wish. Matthew walked in and was speechless upon seeing his idol. Snoop explained to Bo that he knows all about the goings-on in Llanview because of his "East Coast protection" — Shaun! Matt quickly phoned Dani to ask her to the show, but Todd didn't want Danielle going anywhere with Matthew. Dani accused Todd of trying to control her and told him her first day at school was awful because of him.

When Starr, Cole and Markko arrived at Capricorn, Ford asked why Langston wasn't with them. When he found out that Langston's home alone, he pretty much headed straight there. Snoop arrived and paid compliments to all of Shaun's family members, including his mom. Téa showed up with Danielle, and Rachel ran right over to Téa to make sure the vial is in a safe place. Starr begged Todd to not focus his energies on keeping Danielle and Matthew apart. Everyone stopped their arguing for five minutes to watch Snoop's rousing performance. Meanwhile, Ford put the moves on Langston.

Thursday

At the hospital, Rex caught up Gigi on his conversation with Shane. Gigi acknowledged that Rex is hurting because he was looking forward to having another child. Rex commended Gigi on delivering Stacy's baby and told her she has the biggest heart of anyone he knows. "Too bad I gave it to the wrong guy," she sighed. Rex asked where the name for the baby came from, and Gigi explained that Sierra was the name of Stacy's doll when they were little. Meanwhile, Rachel confronted Schuyler about the forged signature on the drug requisition form. The look on his face said it all: He stole the oxytocin. He insisted, however, that he did not use the drug. Schuyler returned to the OR waiting room just as Dr. Gangemi emerged from surgery and announced that they now have to wait and see. Rex, Schuyler and Gigi awkwardly sat in silence.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Viki explained to Natalie that she can't forgive Charlie because he tried to kill someone. When Natalie made the point that she attempted to kill Mitch out of grief once, too, Viki tried to say it was different. As Viki talked about how scared Natalie must have been when she was stranded in the blizzard, Natalie flashed back to kissing John. At Capricorn, John was telling Cristian about Jessica's surgery when Marty arrived and informed John about Jessica's partial memory loss. She then admitted to acting kind of weird since she found John with Natalie, and wondered how far they might have taken things had she not walked in. John assured Marty that he wants to be with her and only her.

At the hospital, Brody tried to trigger Jessica's memory with a DVD of their time together. Jessica wasn't affected by the video, but she was surprised by how old she looks. He asked her to kiss him and explained that he knows he's in her memory somewhere. After their kiss, she giggled and said he was good, but that it didn't make her remember anything. Brody left to grab a drink with Natalie, while Jessica admitted to her mom that she does remember something. She looked down at one of the photos Brody gave her and zeroed in on Cristian's face. Brody and Natalie arrived at Capricorn, where Nat was startled to see John and Marty kissing.

Ford planted a kiss on Langston and tried to make her see that she's young and can't be committed to one person. He started to unbutton her shirt and asked if she's really sure she wants him to leave. Meanwhile, Cole and Starr tried to persuade Markko not to go home and distract Langston from writing the musical. Cole introduced his hot new classmate Hannah to Starr, who sheepishly admitted that she's still in high school. Starr couldn't help but be jealous as she watched Cole and Hannah talk and giggle about their school project, but Cole later eased her insecurities.

Back at the apartment, Langston gave in to her desires and locked the door. As things heated up between her and Ford, she suddenly realized they don't have any protection. He produced a condom from his pocket and they moved their make-out session to the sofa. They were thisclose to having sex when Markko suddenly opened the door to find it jammed by the chain. "Langston?" he called out. Langston quickly pushed Ford into the closet and went to open the door for Markko. She complained more about her "writer's block" and Markko noticed that she was a little feverish. While Markko was getting her some aspirin, Langston quickly ushered Ford out the door. Markko wanted to rub Langston's shoulders and go to the bedroom, but she kept pushing him away.

Friday

Dorian excitedly talked about her Cramer woman celebration and was expecting Kelly, Adriana and Cassie to come in from out of town. Blair pointed out that even though Mitch is in prison, he does have some crafty followers. Meanwhile, Kelly and Adriana took a plane together from Paris, while Cassie was on another flight. Menacing music played as she requested a cup of hot water and pulled out the tea that Addie sent her. Later, Blair called the airline for an update and learned that Cassie's flight had been delayed, while a paper cup was sitting next to Cassie's empty seat. Dorian was relieved when she heard the doorbell and found Kelly standing there. She inquired about Adriana, but Kelly said she had some bad news. Dorian's face dropped. Adriana suddenly hobbled in on crutches and explained that she sprained her ankle (proof that flight attendants tell you to stay in your seat for a reason!).

At the prison, Roxy talked to Richard (Shaun and Greg's dad, who is apparently a prison guard) about the bone she's got to pick with Mitch. The guard led her to Mitch's maximum security cell, where he was reading behind plate glass a la Hannibal Lecter (oh, right — because Frankie Faison played faithful guard Barney in Silence of the Lambs!) When she told him he's gonna rot in that cell, Mitch wasn't so sure. Roxy was very unsettled when he suggested he write a memoir. "I think a lot of people would be very interested to know about my life ... Roxanne," he cooed. Roxy literally ran out screaming, and Mitch went back to his bible. A few minutes later, a woman in a similar outfit told a different guard that she's there to see Mitch. Her name? Roxanne Balsom....

Before heading out to the Cramer woman party, Langston was acting very strange toward Markko, and her behavior did not go unnoticed by Starr. She tried to get to the bottom of what was bothering her friend and asked Langston if she's pregnant. Langston assured Starr that she's not in the family way but was vague, saying she's feeling guilty for not being the person she's supposed to be. When she found out that Ford asked about her the night before and Starr told him Lang was home alone, she suddenly ran out. Cole heard Starr shouting after Langston and asked what was bothering their roommate.

Layla walked in on Cristian inquiring about Ford's mystery girl. When he admitted that this girl is a student, Layla was concerned and later mentioned to Cristian that girls are vulnerable at that age. Langston arrived to confront Ford about trying to seduce her the night before, but he insisted that she wanted him, too. Once again, he planted a kiss on her and she kissed him back.

After a chat with Brody, Clint went to check on Jessica, who had a lot of questions about her family. Jessica was devastated to hear that her grandfather is dead. Clint told her about the way he went, and Jessica began to cry. They reminisced about when she went to prom and that seemed to lift her spirits. When Clint was out of the room, she picked up the phone and called Cristian. Her heart clearly skipped a beat when he agreed to visit her in the hospital. Later, Brody was a little taken aback when he saw Cristian show up, but Jessica was overjoyed. Cris went to give her a kiss on the cheek, and Jessica pulled him in for a real smacker.

As the Cramer woman celebration got under way, Kelly and Blair traded barbs and Dorian demanded that they to "hug it out." Starr walked in and was thrilled to see Kelly, who couldn't believe how grown up Starr is. Dorian asked about Langston, and Starr was the third person that day to say, "I have some bad news." She explained that Langston had to make a stop. In the midst of all their chattering, Andrew walked in and somberly said he has — wait for it! — some bad news.
