One Life To Live Recaps

OLTL Week of February 21, 2011

Monday

Clint refused to apologize to Rex and continued to deny him as his own flesh and blood, claiming that Rex is still after the Buchanan money. Rex proved
he's changed and pointed out that Clint ruined Jessica's happiness, too.
When Rex brought up Shane, Clint admitted that he was a match for Shane's
bone marrow transplant and knew the truth two years ago about Rex's real
paternity via the blood test.

Dorian paid Echo, who was still in her robe, an unexpected visit at the
motel. Echo wasn't amused. Dorian called Echo out on conning Rex and Charlie
about the entire paternity thing. Dorian quickly figured out that Echo and
Charlie had sex when she eyed Charlie's watch. The only way Echo could get
Dorian to leave is to say she saw a cockroach. Meanwhile, Charlie went to
tell Viki he's sorry but Brody interrupted to say that Jessica is still
missing. Viki pleaded with Brody to find her, adding that she wouldn't leave
her baby alone overnight. Charlie realized he'd left his watch at Echo's.
Viki then gave him an update on what happened at the double wedding after he
left. She was miffed at Clint, concerned about the messy Jess/Nat situation
and hurt that Charlie didn't come to her after her rushed out. He tried to
console her, to no avail.

Roxy went to work and was shocked to discover Foxy Roxy's had been destroyed
and robbed. She cried as she saw a message on the broken mirror that read:
"I'm back!" She called the cops. Brody came by but was obviously distracted.
He quickly told her what had gone down between him and Nat. Roxy gave him a
piece of tulle from the break in, which he figured was from Jess's dress.

Starr was excited to hear about Langston's big night with Ford. Langston was
upset that her boyfriend blew her off for another girl. Starr was confused.
She showed Langston the newspaper announcing Ford's the daddy of Jessica's
baby and surmised that's the reason why he split. She figured out from
Lang's description that Ford was probably with Tess.

Tess and Ford arrived in Las Vegas. Tess was eager to start partying; Ford
was annoyed and advised her against harming Jessica's body, for Ryder's
sake. Tess got excited thinking about how much money the baby would net
them. They fought over their plan. Ford fretted about the Buchanan's
wondering about Jessica, which prompted Tess to remind him just how many
cards are stacked against him with regard to getting custody of his son
(including the fact that he slept with Jess when she thought she was 17!)
and that she's the only person who can help him. When Ford wanted to call
Langston, Tess teased him and proved all the reasons why he shouldn't,
adding that when Langston later finds out he did it all for the baby, she
will take him back.

Natalie caught John and towel-clad Kelly together. She was outraged that
John had cheated on her, especially with Kelly. She lashed out. He was still
burned by Nat's lies and all but admitted that his fling with Kelly was out
of revenge. She reminded them that they have a son. "Liam isn't my kid,"
John seethed. Nat refused to give up on their relationship, despite John's
attitude.

Charlie continued to try and explain his actions to Viki, who admitted she
worried that he went to Echo instead. Charlie bit his tongue, especially
when Viki said Rex went to Echo's to look for him. Echo called Charlie to
talk things over, saying every time she looks at his watch she thinks about
their big night together.

Dorian comforted Kelly outside the motel, ready to do damage control
regarding her one-night stand.... Brody reported to Viki that Tess is back.

Tuesday

Rex confronted Clint, who threatened to spill the bean to Bo about what Rex knows regarding David's whereabouts. "I may have put his son behind bars but you are the one who left him there," Clint smirked. Rex was upset to learn that there were never any charges against David and that Bo could've gotten him out months ago. Rex was determined to tell the truth to Bo.

Cutter chided Aubrey for getting caught up in the Clint drama. She told him everything will be fine if he remains calm. Rama arrived to say that Vimal
is getting full immunity from the crimes and that Clint is going to jail, instead. Aubrey pleaded with Rama not to let Vimal take the deal, warning that Clint will make him pay. Rama called Aubrey on her lies, pointing out that Cutter isn't really her brother, and threatened to tell all lest they all work together. Aubrey explained that if Clint goes down, so will BE. Cutter added that's why Vimal needs to take one for the team. They struck a deal.

Shane was teased at school for reading comics. Meanwhile, Todd caught Jack skipping school. Jack gave him attitude and ran off. Starr and Langston surmised that Tess is with Ford. Todd confronted his daughter, assuming that she's helping to hide Dani. He lost his temper, Téa advised him to cool it. Téa was miffed to later find out that Todd lunged after Nate and said she's not surprised Dani ran off. Starr maintained that she doesn't know anything; Todd told her to ask James. He later showed up to say that he does know where Dani and Nate are hiding.

Brody told Viki he fears that Tess is back, explaining that he saw Roxy's place and the message drawn in lipstick announcing, "I'm back!" Viki was distraught. In Las Vegas, Tess advised Ford, who was having bad vibes about being there with her, to man up because they're about to carry out the first part of their big plan by getting hitched. She was insistent that everything would work in their favor. She wasn't worried about Clint and Viki coming after her to take her to St. Ann's, knowing that once they are married, Ford is the only person who can legally have her committed. They continued to bicker. Tess refused to let Ford call Langston. They agreed their union won't be physical or romantic. Tess reminded him that she's the only one who can give him Ryder. Meanwhile, Viki called Jess's doctor. She told Brody not to blame himself for Tess's return.

At Llanview U, James ran into Michelle, who asked about Starr. James said things got too complicated and they're not together right now. Gigi proudly showed off one of Shane's handmade comics to Cristian when she got a call from Shane's school about her son getting into trouble. She called Rex to meet her.

Jack showed up at school late and confronted the kids taunting Shane. "You can't go after Morasco without me!" he snickered. Destiny and Matthew bickered. Des wanted to talk about their kiss; Matt had too many other things on his mind. Jack pinned Shane down. Shane saw Matthew walking by and asked for help but got no sympathy.

Langston went to tell Brody that she thinks she saw Ford with Jessica. He advised her to call Ford. Meanwhile, Viki excoriated Clint for destroying Jessica and told him that Tess has returned. He was devastated and surprisingly guilt-ridden.

Wednesday

Blair saw Tomas at the Buenos Dias. He told her he was leaving town in an hour.

Téa told Starr that she was sorry about Todd’s attitude. Starr told Téa not to worry about Dani. James sneaked into the house to see Starr and told her that he knew where Nate and Dani had gone. Starr was furious with Nate. Nate and Dani arrived at the hiding place (the cabin). Téa lambasted Todd until they were interrupted by Viki, who said she was looking for Tess. Viki told Todd and Téa about the blow-up at the wedding, which Todd found amusing.

Langston, who was with Brody, called Ford, saying she knows that he's with Tess and Brody needs to know what's going on. Tess advised Ford not to spoil their plans. Brody threatened to bring Jess/Tess home. Ford gave Langston a cryptic message about something he has to do; she was worried. Tess ended their lovey-dovey chat by dumping ice on Ford's head. Ford was outraged and said he'll find another way to get what he wants: his son, Ryder. The name of her child made
Jess suddenly reemerge but it was Tess playing a trick. She said she'd use
it on Clint to make Ford look bad.

At Buenos Dias Caf, Blair introduced Tomas to Carlotta's famous flan. They
were sad to say good-bye to each other again, making a point to eat their
flan slowly. Blair admitted she's just looking for something to make her
happy again. When Tomas said he was raised speaking Spanish and that his
parents are Puerto Rican, Blair pointed mentioned the Vega family. His ears
perked up. He also got uncomfortable when Blair brought up Téa and Todd's
marriage and rushed off to the airport. Blair couldn't get Tomas out of her
mind.

Starr was upset at James for getting involved in the Dani/Nate drama by
telling her their whereabouts. He encouraged her to follow her heart. She
made a call.

At Viki's cabin, Dani worried about putting her mom through more hell by
hiding. Nate urged her to call Téa to tell her where she is. Meanwhile, Todd
and Téa fought over Dani in front of Viki. Dani phoned and told her mom
she's safe but asked her not to tell Todd. Téa reluctantly agreed to trust
her daughter, who wanted to make Todd shake in his boots. Todd groused about
his missing daughter and mumbled to himself about what he'll do when he gets
his hands on Nate. After, Téa called Todd out on acting like his old self.
He insisted that he's a "new" Todd and is just trying to protect Dani like a
father should and then called Téa out on not doing the same. Téa refused to
make a missing persons report and asked him to trust Dani. Todd stormed out.

Back at the cabin, Dani and Nate discussed having sex again. Nate worried
about being accused of statutory rape by Todd. They made out and started to
undress. Starr and James showed up. Starr urged her sis to come home, to no
avail. She decided to stay and do damage control.

Brody figured out Tess and Ford are in Vegas. He relayed the news to Viki
and hopped on a plane to retrieve Tess. He told Langston to stay there; she
didn't. In Vegas, Ford and Tess got into their wedding attire. Back in
Llanview, Téa opened her front door and saw Tomas. She knows him!

Thursday

Joey stopped by Natalie's where they discussed John sleeping with another
woman. Joey told her to take it easy on him— until he found out his
one-night stand was with Kelly! Nat was upset by John's cold behavior,
adding that it seemed like he actually enjoyed hurting her. She was mostly
miffed that he'd actually defended Kelly. Joey was also upset by the news
and almost cut off his thumb while making a sandwich. He spilled to his sis
that he married Aubrey, which might've prompted Kelly to act out. Nat was
floored; he explained that he didn't want the entire ceremony to be botched
so they tried to salvage some happiness while the minister was there. She
(surprisingly) understood.

Meanwhile, at Llanfair, Kelly hesitated to tell Blair about what had
happened. Blair couldn't believe that Kelly's fling was with her ex, John.
The women bickered about petty jealousies over the men in their lives. Kelly
was stunned that a man flew across the globe for Blair and she just let him
walk away. Blair couldn't shake the feeling she'd made a mistake and had a
glass of the wine that she and Tomas had shared. Kelly was desperate to make
it up to Nat; Blair said nothing would be able to fix what she'd done. Kelly
wrote Nat a little note; Blair advised against.

At the Minute Man Motel, Echo saw John drinking heavily and encouraged him
to find another way to solve his issues. She chided him for being there
instead of taking care of his son. "He's not my son!" he spat. Echo tried to
get John to open up about his feelings. He was still upset by all of Nat's
lies and the fact that the guy she slept with is his friend. Echo advised
him to buck up lest he make more decisions he's going to regret. She urged
him to fight for his happiness and not do what she did by becoming an
alcoholic.

Téa was rocked to see Tomas — her brother!— at her doorstep. She was upset
that he'd made an effort to come visit her after all the years of being MIA
after he'd gone to Juilliard and traveled the world for his music. She was
especially hurt that her brother couldn't make the effort to show up for
their father's funeral. Tomas didn't know Téa had a daughter. She was even
more outraged when he explained he was in Llanview for something else and
kicked him out.

Dorian saw Viki who was distraught over Tess's return. Dorian hinted around
about Charlie's behavior after the double wedding. She was just happy her
hubby didn't fall off the wagon. Dorian started to interject about him being
with Echo but the phone rang. While Viki stepped out, Dorian eyed a photo
and recognized Charlie's watch (which she spied on Echo earlier). Later,
Dorian told Viki there's something she must know. Viki was on edge and
implored Dorian to wait if it's bad news. Dorian covered. After, Dorian
threatened Echo to back off from Charlie.

Kelly decided to give Nat pie as a peace offering. She dropped it off and
was caught by Joey. Meanwhile, John came by to see Nat.

Friday

Brody arrived in Vegas and muscled his way into Ford and Tess's room at the hotel. He heard someone approach and was shocked to find Langston had followed him to Sin City. They discussed the possibility of Ford and Tess tying the knot but the couple was still MIA. Meanwhile, the groom went to the vampire-themed wedding chapel, where the attendant told him that some people like to pose in front of the tomb but it costs extra. Tess arrived with a hot guy on her arm to be their witness for the ceremony. Ford started to freak out before the ceremony, but was willing to do it for Ryder. Tess walked down the aisle with a bouquet of black roses. For a moment, Tess flashed to Brody's proposal but shook herself out of it.

At the cabin, Dani was upset that Starr and James were intruding on their runaway scheme/standoff with Todd. Starr scoffed at Dani's plan to change Todd's mind about her being with Nate and said she's only making matters worse, especially by letting Téa know where she is. Starr started mother henning her little sis, refusing to let her go off to bed with Nate. Tensions grew while the foursome tried to play a board game. Dani called Starr out on staying at the cabin so she can be with James. Starr told James about seeing him with Michelle and the truth came out that they never hooked up. Starr, in turn, told James that she broke up with Cole.

Tomas was sincere about making up for lost time with his sis, Téa, who was overcome with emotion about her sib being in town. Todd came home, saw another man hugging her crying wife and lunged at him. He jumped to conclusions, asking Téa if the guy is her secret husband. Téa called Todd and idiot and explained her relation to Tomas, who got the scoop on the situation with Dani and accused Todd of messing with his family. The men tangled. Téa was miffed when Todd called Nate a pervert and surmised he'd dump Dani in a ditch somewhere so she finally spilled that she'd heard from their daughter. Tomas glared as Todd ridiculed Téa for her parenting choices. Todd threatened to harm Nate and ran out to find Dani. Téa was outraged. Tomas suggested she leave her hubby.

At Llanfair, Joey chided Kelly for sleeping with Natalie's man, explaining that he just wants to protect his sis. Kelly called it a stupid mistake and blamed Joey's marriage to Aubrey for her getting so wasted in the first place. They bickered. Kelly wondered why Joey would marry someone he barely knows but refused to be there to pick up the pieces for him. When he refused to express his love for her, she threw the pie in his face and ran out.

John showed up at Natalie's. She was hopeful that he wanted to talk things over and reminded him that she's not giving up on their relationship. He had no interest in talking about what happened with Kelly, though; he wanted to see Liam. They shared a nice moment talking about the baby. Nat insisted that the kid misses John, who told Nat to take the child and insisted that Liam's not his.

Back in Vegas, Brody cornered Tess's "witness" who confirmed that she's marrying someone right now at the chapel. Meanwhile, the ceremony began, replete with a vampire minister. Langston and Brody walked in.... John ran into Kelly and comforted her. Nat spied them hugging.
