Monday

Téa walked in on Todd holding a bloody knife next to Lee/Janet's dead body.
"What did you do?" a worried Téa asked. Todd denied murdering Lee/Janet. Téa
asked Todd for the details on what had just happened so they could account
for Todd's whereabouts after leaving the courtroom. "Everyone knows you have
the motive to kill Lee," Téa said. Téa laughed at Todd's suggestion that she
killed Lee. Todd made plans to get rid of Lee/Janet's body. Téa began to
freak but Todd wouldn't listen. Téa called Antonio and told him he needed to
get there right away. "Lee Halpren is here," she said quickly. A furious
Todd grabbed her. Todd tried to force Téa out of his house but she refused
to move. "You are going to listen to exactly what I tell you to do," she
said sternly. Antonio and Talia walked in to find Téa, with blood on her
face, holding the knife.

Starr told Langston that she took the stand and "betrayed Cole." Starr
explained that Jack begged her not to send their father to jail and that
Todd had tried to kill himself. Starr added that she had bonded with Mr. J aka Schuyler over this.
Langston was upset that Starr hadn't turned to her in her moment of crisis.
Starr tried to explain to Langston why she couldn't testify against her
father. Langston reminded Starr that committing perjury is a crime.

Cole and Markko met up in Angel Square. Cole didn't want to go home. "Can't.
Not after what I did," Cole said cryptically. Cole wouldn't offer his pal
any details. Cole did confess that he'd been taking painkillers. "That's why
you were with Asher," Markko realized. Markko hoped that Cole wasn't about
to do anything crazy. Cole admitted that the pills were the only way he gets
through anything these days.

Schuyler visited his mother's grave and vowed to protect her. "I wish you
had told me about this before..." he said to her headstone. Schuyler
realized that Todd was blackmailing her because of Schuyler's past history
with drugs. Starr called Schuyler's cell phone. She apologized for calling
so late but she wanted to thank him for coming to the trial and for
understanding "why I did what I did." "I understand more than you know,"
Schuyler whispered as he burned his mother's letter on her grave.

Marty paid Wes a visit and immediately took a swig of vodka. Wes wondered
where she had been. Marty reported that Starr had lied on the stand for Todd
and that Janet had disappeared. Wes explained that he had known Lee/Janet
when she went by the name of Carol and seduced his father. Wes took the
bottle away from Marty and went in for a kiss.

Tuesday

Blair confirmed to Starr that Dorian had indeed signed over all her wealth
to Moe. Blair assured her daughter that she isn't mad at her for changing
her story on the witness stand. However, Blair asked who convinced Starr to
lie. Starr didn't tell Blair it was Téa. Blair said she was worried that
Starr might now be in some serious legal trouble. Blair thought it was odd
that Starr hadn't heard from Todd. Blair headed out to meet John and
suggested that Starr rest. "Oh what did I do?" Starr asked herself.

Téa tried to convince Antonio and Talia that she had murdered Lee/Janet.
"When are you going to stop doing his dirty work," Antonio asked looking at
Todd. "I don't believe you," he added. Téa continued to claim she had
murdered Lee/Janet. Antonio asked for details so Téa complied. She explained
that Lee/Janet was terrified and furious about what might happen to her when
she took the stand. Antonio listened and smiled in disbelief. "In the
struggle (with the gun) she got stabbed," Téa said. Todd said he wasn't
there because he was thanking Starr for what she did for him on the stand.
Both Talia and Antonio thought someone had "gotten to Starr." Antonio
arrested Téa for murder.

Cole caught Matthew about to smoke a joint. Cole took the joint away from
him. Matthew demanded he give it back or "I'll tell everyone you are on
pills. I'll tell John too." Their conversation was interrupted by Renee who
was looking for Matthew. "You lied to me and I want to know why," Renee said
to a worried Matthew. Renee was angry because Matthew hadn't told her he was
grounded. Renee then asked Cole what was going on. Cole explained that Starr
had lied on the stand. Renee admitted that Lee/Janet was an old friend.

Rex told Jared that he was sure David would sign over the Buchanan fortune
to Dorian, once David learned he was a Buchanan. Jared suggested to Rex
that, after he runs it by Clint and Bo, the family tells David he's a
Buchanan. "Then we need to get David alone, without Cruella," Rex said.

Schuyler bonded with John — who didn't know who he was — at the bar. He explained that his late mother loved delivering babies. He was still in
disbelief that his mother had killed herself. Schuyler hinted that it looked
like Lee/Janet wouldn't be testifying at all. Schuyler recognized John as
the cop who saved Marty. Blair showed up at Rodi's and explained to John
that Schuyler was Dr. Joplin's son. John didn't know that. Schuyler left.
Blair was wondering what would happen when Lee/Janet testified. Blair was
convinced that either Todd or Téa had gotten to Starr. Blair and John left the club and headed back to his apartment. John paused in front of Wes'
room, which Marty sensed as she woke up from her nap.

Marty explained why she pulled away from Wes' kiss. He thought it was
because she still has something for John. Marty made it clear that that was
so NOT the case. "I wish I could so ignore John," Marty said. Wes thought
John saved Todd for Marty's sake. "You are no killer," he added. "Yes I am,"
Marty said as she explained she had gotten Todd to jump from a roof, and
that made her a murderer. Wes apologized for trying to kiss her. Marty made
it clear she was in no condition to trust anyone again, reminding Wes of her
recent disastrous relationship with Todd.

David accused Dorian of not being genuinely interested in Buddhism. Dorian
tried to convince him otherwise. Dorian came on to David but he pushed her
away. Dorian claimed she is still searching for joy and inner peace. "Show
me the way. Show me the path," Dorian pleaded. David demanded that Dorian
come clean with him. "My motives are not pure," Dorian admitted. "I still
love you," she added. Dorian reminded him that they almost married when
Spencer blackmailed him. David and Dorian remembered their happy past.
Dorian got on her knees and asked David to marry her. David was stunned.
Dorian wondered if her path toward enlightenment might be through him. David
pondered that idea and smiled. "I need to meditate on this till the
morning," David said as he left Angel Square. "I'm going to be Mrs. David Buchanan," Dorian chuckled. Rex overheard her.

Wednesday

Rex reported to Clint that Dorian knows that David is a Buchanan but David
still doesn't. Clint wondered if David wants to marry Dorian. Rex wasn't
sure. Renee rushed in, clearly upset that her friend Janet/Lee had been
murdered. Clint tried to keep the discussion focused on the Dorian and David
situation. Rex thought they could neutralize Dorian by telling David first.

David asked Viki for advice regarding Dorian's marriage proposal. David
stunned Viki by listing everything Dorian had done to find true
enlightenment. Viki thought David would be an idiot to marry Dorian.
"That's a mean-spirited comment," David said defensively. Viki rattled off
all the horrible things Dorian had done to her and her family. "She lies
and she cheats to get what she wants. I don't want to see you hurt," Viki
insisted. David pondered Viki's remarks. "She's up to something," Viki said.
David thought he was in love with Dorian. Viki added that David needs to
follow his heart and that she'll love him no matter what he decides. David
left to give Dorian his answer. Rex charged into Viki's kitchen looking for
David. Viki said he'd gone to find Dorian. Rex then learned — from Sven,
Moe's new butler — that David and Dorian had boarded a plane to Vegas.

Dorian left a message for David at the center begging him to say yes.
Dorian walked into her living room to find Moe handing out Mimosas. Moe was
dressed in a morning coat. Noelle wondered if something was wrong. Dorian
assured them nothing was bothering her, but clearly moving to the Zen center
wasn't really what she wanted to do. Moe told Dorian he'd hired a lawyer
because he did eventually want all the Cramers out of his new house. Dorian
was horrified to read Moe's plans to rename La Boulaie to La Maison de Stubbs.
Furious, she called Moe a hillbilly. Moe was insulted. David walked in and
all of a sudden Dorian calmed down and graciously signed over all her
worldly goods to Maurice and Noelle. Dorian handed the paperwork to Moe and
joined David in the foyer. David assumed the traditional bow of acceptance.
"I will marry you," he told a gleeful Dorian.

Téa returned to Todd's house after she had been processed at the police
department. Téa said she'd come up with two dozen names of people who could
have really killed Janet/Lee. John read about Lee's murder in the newspaper.
Marty came in for a cup of coffee and John told her about the murder. Marty
looked surprised as Wes watched her carefully. Marty realized that with
Lee/Janet dead, Todd would be free yet again. John watched as Marty and Wes
grabbed each other's hands. Marty left Rodi's for the courthouse. John
offered her a ride, but she said she didn't need a babysitter. John wondered
if Wes had known Lee/Janet. John told Wes he didn't trust him with anything
but a beer delivery. John called Fish to start investigating Wes.

Bo showed Nora the newspaper. He thought this was the first time he'd ever
heard that a defense attorney killed the lead witness. Bo reported to Nora
and Blair that Téa stuck to her story that she had killed Janet/Lee in
self-defense. Nora said she had a few other ways to put Todd behind bars.

Blair told Starr that Téa had killed Janet/Lee. "What's going to happen to
dad now?" Starr asked. "It looks like your father may get off again," Blair
replied. Starr tried to explain to Cole that she couldn't send her father to
prison. Cole predicted Todd wouldn't be paying for any of his misdeeds
because of what Starr had done. Starr told Cole about Todd's suicide
attempt. Todd and Téa walked up to Cole and Starr. Cole and Starr left. Todd
wondered how Téa would deal with the news of Lee/Janet's death in the
courtroom. Bo told Cole to "try to keep a lid on it." Once the judge came
in, Téa hopped up and asked that all the charges against Todd Manning be
dropped. Nora addressed the courtroom and asked if anyone thought Todd
didn't kill Lee/Janet. The judge demanded order in the court. Nora admitted
she had no further witnesses. The judge asked the attorneys to take their
seats. Todd rose. The judge ruled that Todd was not guilty. Marty and Cole
looked stunned. Todd showed no emotion, though Téa was quite happy. "Todd's
not going to pay for anything he's done," Marty said to her son. Starr tried
to apologize but Cole wouldn't listen to her. Nora told the bailiff to
arrest Starr.

Thursday

Nora arrested Starr for perjury and Starr was handcuffed. Nora and Téa began
arguing. Nora announced that Todd was guilty as sin and everyone in Llanview
knows it. "The judge let him off scott free thanks to you," Nora barked at
Téa. Nora demanded a full admission of guilt. Téa reminded Nora that there
was no evidence against Todd. Nora was amazed that Todd always managed to
beat the legal system. Todd refused to leave with Téa and began to talk. He
started by apologizing to Marty. "I can wipe the slate clean now," he said
as Téa sat down. Todd admitted he had raped Marty when he had first thought
it was love. Todd then said he was planning to steal Starr's baby and would
give it back to Starr when "I thought you would be ready to raise a child.
But then I called the whole thing off." Todd explained everything that had
happened. "But I never expected that the baby might get sick," he added as
he confessed to being responsible for baby Hope's death. Nora had Starr
uncuffed. Starr insisted on being alone. She ran into a lobby and saw Cole
popping a pill. Marty went outside and — when she saw John — ran into his
arms. Todd thanked Téa for his freedom, touched her hair and left the
courtroom. Blair watched coldly, approached Téa and slapped her.

Rex raced into the Buchanan living room with news that Dorian and David were
on an airplane about to elope. Rex was pretty positive that Dorian and David
were heading to Vegas. Clint placed a call to the airport demanding that
they hold the plane. Clint took a call from Dorian. "Wouldn't you like to
know," Dorian said when Clint asked her where she was. David saw that
Dorian had just called Clint. "Why would you be calling your ex?" David
asked. Dorian assured David he was more precious to her than gold. Dorian
imagined herself kicking the Buchanans out of the mansion and just smiled.
Rex and Gigi boarded the plane to Vegas.

Jessica watched Bree color. It annoyed Jessica that Bree paid more attention
to aunt Natalie than her mother. There was a chill between the two grown sisters. Natalie was offended that
Jessica had hired a nanny. Jessica tried to explain that she hired a nanny
because she still had therapy to go to. Natalie assured her sister that she
and Jared weren't going anywhere and were going to keep an eye on the little
girls. She added that they now sleep with their bedroom door locked from the
inside and will never let down their guard when Jessica is around. Jessica
kept apologizing for having tried to kill Natalie and Jared but Natalie
wasn't forgiving. Jessica accused Natalie of using her children against her.
Natalie wondered if Tess was back. Jessica said Tess was gone. Natalie
reminded Jessica that Tess hadn't had any pre-natal care. "You are lucky
that she's (Chloe) alive," Natalie said before she stormed out of the
kitchen. After Jessica whispered that Chloe's her baby and "no one can take
her away from me," she looked up to see Starr at the kitchen door.

Friday

Starr showed up at Viki's looking for her. She only found Jessica in the
kitchen. Jessica explained to Starr that she worried that Chloe might have
thought she (Jessica) had abandoned her. Starr explained that she missed her
baby so much. Starr explained Todd's plan to kidnap her baby and that he may
have been indirectly responsible for Hope's death.

Jessica prepared some heart healthy soup from Campbells for Starr. Jessica
said she shared some of the blame for Todd getting off. Jessica explained
that Tess was aware of what Todd was up to. Starr wondered if perhaps
"that's the way things were supposed to be" — Todd getting off — because
all the witnesses fell through. At the mentioned of Lee/Janet's name,
Jessica remembered overhearing Todd and Lee on the baby intercom at Todd's
house. Jessica told Starr what she heard, which wasn't very much. Jessica
went to get Chloe. Starr reached over and touched Chloe's Minnie Mouse toy.
Jessica came down with Chloe in her arms. Starr mentioned that Hope was in
Dr. Joplin's office when she (Hope) died. Jessica remembered wondering why
the baby wasn't crying after she was born. Jessica looked uncomfortable.
Starr happily held Chloe as she told Jessica what had happened in the
courtroom. Jessica said that she used to be close to Todd. "He saved my life
when I was little," she added. Jessica's eyes filled with tears. "You look
so natural holding that baby," Jessica told Starr.

In the plane flying to Vegas, Gigi wondered how Rex could be so calm. She
worried that Dorian and David might already be married. Rex hinted they
maybe they'd (Rex and Gigi) get married in Vegas. Rex said that looking at
all the chapels in Vegas "got me thinking. What are we waiting for?” Gigi
wanted a proposal. Gigi hinted there was another reason she didn't want to
elope. Gigi explained that she hadn't seen her father since he kicked her
out of the house because she was pregnant. Rex apologized for having left
her pregnant all those years ago. Gigi didn't think Shane would ever get to
know his grandparents. Rex vowed that Shane would have parents he could
depend on. In Vegas, Rex had a clue where Dorian and David might be. Rex saw
a poster from a floor show and was amused that the stripper's name was Gigi.
The stripper appeared and looked stunned to see Rex and Gigi. She admitted
she'd seen something like a ghost to her boss. Rex and Gig headed to the
Temple of Love. "Stop the wedding," Rex said Rex as he burst through the
doors.

Blair slapped Téa for "twisting up my daughter." Blair wondered if Téa had
gotten Todd out of jail so she could get back in bed with him. "You're with
John McBain. What do you care?" Téa asked. Blair made it clear she doesn't
care about Todd. Her concern is her children. "Nobody wants you here," Blair
said to Téa. Téa hinted that John spends a lot of energy on his
ex-girlfriend.

Téa got a call from Ray. "I think Lola's ready to crack," Téa told her
client. Ray asked Téa about Cristian. Téa admitted that when the Vegas find
out "I've been using them, they'll probably never talk to me." Téa hung up
the phone and turned around only to see that Lola had been listening.

Talia, Antonio and Layla talked about the Lee/Janet case. Wes eavesdropped
on their conversation and looked concerned. Lola brought up the fact that
her mother had been stabbed to death like Lee/Janet had. "Your father killed
her," Vanessa screamed. Fish explained he won two tickets to the Go Red Ball
and promptly invited Layla to it. Layla said she was already going. "I'm on
the host committee," she said but promised to save him a dance. Layla
mentioned Sarah's name and Cristian looked uncomfortable. She added that
Sarah was over him. Layla pointed out that Cris dumped Evangeline for Sarah
and then Sarah for Vanessa. Vanessa tried to convince her stepdaughter that
Ray was lying.

John asked Wes how he cut his hand. A broken bottle of wine, Wes explained.
Fish had some information for John about Wes. Wes couldn't find a criminal
record for Wes. John found something interesting in Fish's findings —
Lee/Janet had rented a room from Wes' family, had an affair with his father
and taken all the money.

Marty pulled away from John. "I can't even think straight," she said. "It's
over now. Try to move on," John encouraged. Marty insisted she
wanted Todd dead and asked John why he saved him. "I did it for you," he
explained. Blair overheard Marty and John talking. "When I'm with you I feel
something," Marty told John. "These feelings aren't mine," Marty tried to
clarify as she explained her confusion. "Forget about Blair," John snapped,
"this is about us." Blair winced in the background. As Marty left John, she
ran into Blair. We need to "get a few things straight," Blair said with her
arms crossed. Blair admitted she was looking for Marty and hoped they could
make peace. Blair didn't think Marty had changed. Blair accused Marty of
playing the damsel in distress role. "I don't want John," Marty insisted. "I
think you do," Blair replied, "and you can't have him." Marty reminded Blair
that it takes two to play a game. Marty and Blair continued to argue until
Marty silenced Blair by tossing her off the dock and into the water.
