OLTL Week of February 15, 2010
Monday
Blair sang a former theme song from ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Todd interrupted her and took a sip of her tea. Blair wondered where he'd been but he wasn't sharing. "How can I make Danielle like me?" he wondered. "You can't make Dani do anything," was Blair's response. Jack stood outside the door eavesdropping and learned all about his new sister. "No one tells me anything," Jack muttered. Blair told Todd not to give up. Todd learned Téa had checked in to the hotel. Blair headed out to Starr's to make sure she and Langston were okay.
John admitted to Natalie that he would always feel something for her. "But we've moved on," Natalie added. Marty walked in as they were kissing. "I was worried. Obviously you are fine," an angry Marty snapped, then informed them that Brody had found Jessica. Marty also told John that she had been arrested for aiding his escape. "I'm sorry," John said. "I thought you were dead," Marty added as she addressed seeing the two of them making out. Natalie tried to explain what had happened and how they had survived the car explosion. "I thought he was Jared," Natalie explained. "It's my
fault. Please don't be mad at John." Natalie assured Marty that John was committed to her, Marty. Marty looked at Natalie's injured leg and said she had sprained it. Marty and John helped Natalie out of the cabin.
Charlie admitted to a shocked Viki that he shot Jessica, meaning to kill Mitch. Charlie assured his wife that he wasn't drunk and that he had been at that bar to get a gun. Viki was dumbfounded. Mitch's arrival angered both of them. Mitch let it slip that Dorian had been involved in Charlie's scheme. "Dorian gave you the gun?" Viki asked as the police took Charlie away.
Dorian demanded to know from Mitch which of her girls he had zeroed in on. "A daughter for a daughter," Mitch said with a smile. Dorian immediately called Cassie in Savannah and begged her to call Blair, Adriana and Kelly and get all the Cramer women somewhere safe.
In Paris, Adriana and Kelly flirted with the cute Frenchman, Emil Moreau. Moreau shared that he worked for a very important man. Emil offered Adriana a ride home. Moments after they left, Kelly got a call from Cassie urging the cousins to stay together. "Be careful of strangers," she warned a now worried Kelly.
Stacy told Kim she had had the baby and kept gushing about how wonderful Gigi had been. Stacy started sounding delusional as she insisted that Rex was the father and that this baby would give them a second chance. Kim kept Stacy from going out into the storm and headed upstairs to get her another blanket. When Kim returned, Stacy was gone.
Rex, Schuyler and Oliver found Gigi standing on the cracking ice. "This is your daughter, Rex," Gigi said. Rex didn't correct her. Oliver and Schuyler threw a rope to Gigi. When she stepped toward it, she fell through the ice. Gigi managed to get Sierra Rose to the men. Rex pulled Gigi out of the freezing water but she appeared unconscious. Rex kept talking while Schuyler administered CPR to a unresponsive Gigi.
Tuesday
Dorian tried to explain to Viki why she wanted to kill Mitch. Dorian apologized for Jessica's accidental shooting and blamed everything on Mitch and his plans. "Take responsibility," Viki barked at Dorian. "You were Mitch's pawn.” Dorian tried to explain that Mitch was after her girls. Viki hoped that someday Dorian's girls would be safe from Dorian; Dorian told Viki that her girls had cut her out of their lives.
Schuyler performed CPR on Gigi, who came to, much to the delight of Schuyler and Rex. Oliver held the baby. Gigi told Rex that his daughter's name was Sierra Rose. Stacy appeared on the ice and wanted her baby. Everyone warned her not to come any closer but she didn't listen and fell through the ice. Gigi didn't want to leave Stacy, but Stacy begged her sister to bring her baby to the hospital. Gigi promised to protect Sierra Rose.
Stacy pleaded with Rex to save her. Oliver and Rex did their best to get a rope to Stacy. "I'm sorry Rex. I'm sorry," Stacy cried as she disappeared into the cold, dark water. Rex went underwater to hunt for her. "Your son needs you," Oliver said as he pulled Rex out of the water. Oliver and Rex looked sadly at the hole in the ice. "She's gone," Oliver said.
Schuyler asked Gigi to remember everything about that night, anxious to find out exactly what Gigi knew about the baby's paternity. He was relieved when he realized Gigi still thought Rex was the father. Gigi shared that she and Stacy rebonded during the delivery of the baby. Gigi asked Schuyler what was so important that he had to see her ASAP. "Don't worry about it. It can wait," Schuyler assured her. Gigi was worried about Sierra. "She'll be fine," Schuyler said. Schuyler said that the ER knew that they were coming. Gigi and Schuyler arrived at the hospital and handed Sierra Rose to a nurse. Schuyler looked alarmed when Gigi said that the baby's parents were on their way.
Brody explained how Jessica was accidentally shot to Clint. "Because of Dorian Lord," Clint said. Lowell had Clint and Brody arrested. Dorian promptly fired Lowell and ordered the police to release Clint and Brody. Dorian and Lowell began to argue and she repeated that she had terminated him. "What grounds do you dare to fire me?" Lowell asked. Lowell gave her his badge and he stormed out. Dorian apologized to Clint "for everything that happened." Viki told Dorian that this recent act did not "square us." "What were you two thinking?" Viki asked Clint and Brody. Viki wept in Clint's arms.
Blair rushed Cole, Starr and Hope out of their apartment and back to Todd's. Starr didn't want to go. "Everyone related to Dorian is in danger," she yelled. Blair told them about the phone call from Cassie. They wondered where Langston was. Markko wanted to call the police but Blair and Cole didn't think that was a good idea. Starr thought she was absolutely fine.
Langston was in Ford's office and began to hit the man she thought attacked her. (She thought he was an intruder.) Ford told her that he makes extra money modeling. They both thought the other one was an burglar. Ford suggested they work there together, but Langston wanted to head to the diner. Langston left ... but not before kissing Ford. Markko called her and asked her where she was. Langston assured him she was okay and ran to get a cab. Langston fell into Markko's arms and she insisted him she was fine, lying about where she had been. Markko wished that she had left a note. Dorian arrived at their door with FBI agents. She told them that she had fired Lowell and she begged them for a chance to explain, then told them about Mitch's threats.
Kelly began leaving messages for Adriana, worried that the Frenchman might have been sent by Mitch to kill her. Trying to stay calm, Kelly called the London house and learned that David was there. As a last resort, she agreed to talk to him. David told her that he was busy but he quickly changed his mind when she offered him a free trip to Paris.
Wednesday
David met Kelly in Paris. "I need help," she said. "Adriana is missing." Kelly told David all about Mitch. David assured Kelly he would be able to find Adriana. Kelly pretended there was a fly in her soup as David found the mystery Frenchman's credit card receipt. David tried to pry information from the credit card company. Kelly managed to get the scoop and the two headed out to locate Adriana.
The police asked Charlie why he shot Jessica. Eli announced he was Charlie's attorney, hired by Dorian. Mitch vowed revenge on Charlie if Jessica died. "Why don't you crawl into a bottle and die," Mitch sneered at Charlie. Dorian charged into the police station and Charlie wondered if they'd have adjourning cells again. Eli told Charlie and Dorian that they would only charge Charlie kidnapping. "He's good," Dorian said. "I don't deserve to get out," Charlie said desperately. Dorian said the gun might as well have been in her hand. Charlie was devastated about what had happened. Dorian suggested they pray. "Do you think that works?" he asked.
John and Marty helped Natalie hobble into the hospital. Kyle was glad to see that she'd survived the car explosion. Natalie told John to leave before he got caught by Lowell. Viki and Clint were glad to see Natalie well. "John took very good care of her," Kyle said as Marty and John were in the exam room. Clint and Viki were about to leave; John offered to stay with Natalie, which made Natalie uncomfortable. Viki thought that John deserved a medal. Natalie was sure that her sister would be fine. John and Natalie talked about those kisses on Llantano Mountain. "It was just a moment," Natalie said. "I still love Jared even though he's gone," she admitted. Natalie added that John has a good thing with Marty. Natalie urged John to go and find Marty and "make things right." Kyle returned to take some of Natalie's blood. John ran into Marty in the hall. Marty wondered if they were going to be fine, and she walked off.
In the waiting room, Brody asked Marty about electroshock therapy and told her that Jessica didn't recognize him. He had seen ECT equipment at the observatory. "Is this permanent?" he wondered. "Will I be a stranger from now on?" Marty said that sometimes the patient would remember everything in 24 hours. Marty told Brody that he saved Jessica. "That's all that matters," she said. Brody confided that Mitch was about to rape Jessica when he found her. "I feel sick," Marty said. Brody hoped they wouldn't have to tell Viki and Clint about the electroshock and the near rape. Marty reminded Brody that there was no use in speculating, and suggested that Brody tell Clint and Viki everything. Alone with Clint and Viki, Brody hesitated. "I don't think I could take any more bad news now," Viki said. The nurse announced that Jessica was in recovery so Brody, Viki and Clint ran off to be with her.
Dorian explained the whole sordid Mitch situation to her Cramer girls. She said it had hurt her deeply when they all moved out. Markko worried about Langston. When the police came to arrest Dorian, she danced around the remark that Charlie was about to shoot Mitch. The police revealed that Charlie had mistakenly shot Jessica. "I tried to do the right thing for your sake," she said as she left the apartment. Blair said that Mitch Laurence was the most dangerous man she had ever met. Starr wanted to call Aunt Dorian and find out about Jessica's condition. Langston wondered if Dorian would go to jail. Langston told Blair about meeting Ford in his office. "I ended up kissing him again," Langston said guiltily. Blair didn't want Langston to get hurt.
Ford thought of Langston as he held her scarf in his hands. Cris told Ford that the heat in the apartment was back on. Cris warned Ford not to date a student. Ford remained cagey on the topic of who he was interested in. Markko and Cole were outside of Ford's office. "Ford, got a minute?" Markko asked. Ford managed to ditch the scarf and headed out with Markko.
Thursday
John escorted Mitch to his cell. "Charlie and Dorian must pay for what they did," Mitch muttered as he touched the bible. "What goes around comes around," he added.
Brody, Viki and Clint hovered outside of the operating room. "Jessica came through like a champ," Greg said. Viki cried tears of joy. Brody worried that Jessica might not recognize her family after the electroshock treatment Mitch had given her. Greg let the family into Jess’s room. Jessica opened her eyes and asked where she was and what had happened. "Honey, do you know who we are?" Viki asked. Clint and Viki were relieved when she said they were her parents. However when Brody went to see Jessica she asked, "Who are you?"
In Paris, Kelly and David tried to locate Adriana. They found the hotel she was allegedly in but they didn't know the room. David tried to bribe a maid into telling them were Adriana was. Kelly kicked open the door and found driana tied up to a bed. Apparently she and Emil (the French man) were about to have sex, then it didn’t happen. It became clear that Emil didn't work for Mitch Laurence. Adriana reported to Dorian that she was fine. "I was tied up," she admitted. Dorian was relieved.
Rex and Oliver watched the divers search for Stacy's body. They said they couldn't find a body until the ice melts. "I'm making it official that Stacy Morasco is dead," said one of the searchers. Oliver and Rex realized that little Sierra would not have a mother. "She'll have a father," Rex declared. Oliver headed to the hospital. Rex needed some time to think.
Rex told Kim about how Stacy died. Kim couldn't believe that Stacy was dead. "Where's the body?" she asked. Kim insisted that they still look for her. "They might not be able to find her until next spring," he said as Kim collapsed into tears crying out Stacy's name. "She's not my baby," Rex told Kim. Kim confirmed that, which infuriated him. "Was it fun watching the baby tear me and Gigi apart? How could you do this?" he demanded. Rex was stunned to learn that Stacy had miscarried and kept mum. "You don't know what you are talking about," Kim revealed. "Schuyler isn't the father anymore than you are," she told a stunned Rex.
At the hospital, Gigi and Schuyler got ready to see little Sierra Rose in the incubator. Kyle looked through the nursery window at what could be Oliver's child.
Oliver told Dorian about Stacy's fate before heading to the hospital. At the hospital, Schuyler brought Kyle up to speed on everything. Schuyler told him that Rex knows the truth about the baby, or at least what Schuyler thinks is the truth. Schuyler went to look for a pediatrician while Kyle looked in on the baby again. Oliver and Kyle embraced. Oliver told Kyle that Stacy was dead. Schuyler overheard that and was stunned. He realized he had to tell Gigi.
Gigi talked to little Sierra and told her about her mother Stacy and how her birth had brought the two sisters back together. Schuyler heard Gigi talking about Stacy and that she (Gigi) loves Schuyler. "I have something to tell you about Stacy," he said seriously and broke the news. Gigi fell into Schuyler's arms. The doctor told Kyle and Oliver that he has some additional bad news for Gigi.
Eli informed Dorian and Charlie that they were released on their own recognizance. Eli tried to keep Dorian from leaving the jurisdiction.... Charlie found Viki and Clint outside of Jessica's room. He asked how Jessica was and told Viki that he'd always love her.
Friday
Todd harassed the nurse for information about Jessica. Natalie told him Jessica was fine. Todd began poking around about how John saved Natalie. Natalie insisted that John didn't have the hots for her. Natalie headed to X-ray but not after the two made eye contact.
John called Bo on the plane; "Stacy didn't make it," he reported. John brought him up to speed on Jessica's condition as well. John thought that Dorian might re-hire Bo as commissioner. Nora wondered if they should tell Shane about Stacy. Shane asked if his aunt Stacy had the baby yet. Bo told him that Stacy had a girl. "She was born last night," Bo explained. Shane wondered why Bo seemed sad. Bo told him that Stacy had an accident and that
she wasn't okay. "Your aunt Stacy drowned," he said. Bo said it was okay for Shane to cry. Shane explained that there was a time he hated Stacy. He blamed her for Rex and Gigi's breakup. Bo admitted he felt the same way. "I didn't want her to die," Shane added, then started to cry. Bo and Shane exchanged phone numbers. Bo asked if it was okay if he called or texted Shane
sometime. "That would be okay," Shane said.
John visited Marty in her office and informed her that Dorian had fired Lowell. An icy Marty replied that she has a lot of paperwork. John wanted to talk about the kiss Marty walked in on. Marty didn't look at him but claimed she wasn't angry. John apologized for everything and tried to explain that he hoped Natalie could deal with the loss of Jared; he also asked Marty to let him back into her life. The two started to kiss. "I want to make this work," John said.
Natalie ran into John and asked if he had patched things up with Marty. John told her that Marty didn't want to talk about the situation. Natalie wondered exactly what Marty saw when she walked in on their kiss. Nat asked him what the kiss meant to him, then encouraged John to hang in there. "I want you to be happy," she added.
Todd called the newspaper with the headline for tomorrow's issue; it was all about Marty, John and Natalie. John crashed into Todd in the hospital hall.
Kim told Rex that Schuyler wasn't the father of Sierra Rose. "Who is the father?" Rex demanded to know. Kim told Rex that Stacy would have done anything for him. Rex made it clear that Stacy put Gigi through hell. "Who loved you more?" Kim wondered. Rex again asked about the paternity. Kim blamed Stacy's death on Rex and hoped Rex and Gigi would be miserable. Kim refused to leave the icy lake. "Why did you leave me?" she sobbed. Kim promised to take care of Sierra Rose and left her new boots behind for Stacy. Moments later the boots were gone and there were footprints in the snow.
In the nursery, Gigi wanted details about how Stacy died. Schuyler hugged her. The pediatrician came in with news about Sierra: The baby has a congenital heart defect. Schuyler helped the pediatrician explain what that condition meant. Gigi consented to the baby's surgery but the doctor said they would also need the father's consent. Rex showed up in the hospital and said he did everything to save Stacy. Gigi told Rex about Sierra's heart. "I can't give permission," Rex told a stunned Gigi. "Why not?" she asked. "Rex isn't the baby's father. I am," Schuyler declared.
Kyle told Oliver that Sierra needed heart surgery. Oliver wondered why they couldn't wait till Sierra was a little bigger. "They are going to need permission from the father," Kyle reminded him. Kyle wondered if Oliver wanted to know if the baby was his. Oliver refused to be tested to see if there was a DNA match. Kyle was stunned. Oliver wondered why Stacy had told Schuyler the baby was his and that Schuyler was listed in Stacy's will.
Jessica wondered who Brody was. "You are that guy who helped me with that weird man who says he's my father," she said. Jessica thanked him for saving her, but clearly didn't remember their romantic relationship. Jessica asked Clint and Viki to make Brody leave. Clint thought Jessica needed time to recover. "Why am I the only one she doesn't remember?" Brody asked. Jessica looked blank when Viki mentioned Bree. "Who is Bree?" Viki had Marty paged. When Marty arrived, Brody told her Jessica didn't remember him or Bree. Marty wanted to talk to Jessica and explained that the electroshock therapy could have caused memory loss. Marty added that she knew exactly what that was like. Jessica didn't know that Marty had a son and thought Patrick was still in the picture. She didn't know who Natalie was, or who John McBain was. Jessica grew anxious. Marty then reported to told Clint, Viki and Brody that Jessica doesn't remember anything past her senior year in high school.
