Schuyler confessed to Rachel that he did something really stupid: He kissed Gigi. Heartsick, he admitted to thinking the outcome might have been different if Rex wasn't in the picture. Schuyler tested Rachel on her own romantic entanglements, pointing out that she seems to care a lot about what Greg thinks of her relationship with Shaun. When Rachel referred to Shaun as a "nice guy," Schuyler laughed that off as the kiss of death. Nevertheless, they headed over to Rodi's, knowing they ran the risk of seeing Gigi.
Greg and Shaun chatted about Matthew's trial over a game of pool, and Shaun was surprised to hear that Greg and Rachel had discussed it the night before. Shaun recalled his last crack at romance, when Talia lied that they were dating, and said women often say one thing when they mean another. Greg thought back to Rachel throwing a drink in his face.
Gigi blabbed the news to Rex, who was upset that his girlfriend was "making out" with another man. She was just trying to be honest with Rex and turn over a new leaf, but he hit the roof and accused Schuyler of trying to break them up. He even asked Gigi to promise him that she will have nothing more to do with Schuyler. Gigi declared that if she has to put up with "pregnant" Stacy being in their lives, then she can have Schuyler in hers.
Dorian returned home to La Boulaie and was furious that she'd spent the night at St. James after passing out at Viki's wedding. Blair explained that she took her drunken self to the reception and caught the bouquet ... as did Téa. At Dorian's prodding, Blair insisted that she doesn't want Todd but she doesn't want Téa to have him either.
Over Viki and Charlie's pre-honeymoon breakfast with Todd, Viki advised Todd to be careful with Téa but Todd was adamant that he is a changed man and really will do right by Téa. She suggested he take it slow and not push Téa. Charlie reminded Todd that it'll be worth the wait, if he and Viki are any example.
Before the trial, Téa met with her competition, Elijah Clarke, and taunted him by mentioning that she's got a secret. But something Elijah said rattled the lady lawyer. During the hearing's opening statements, Elijah requested that the trial be thrown out altogether. After the judge's decision to proceed with the case, Téa approached Elijah and asked who he's really working for. "I'm a lawyer, just like you," he smiled. She later jumped when she thought she was alone and Todd came up behind her. She was clearly nervous as she looked back at Elijah, who was holding a dossier labeled "Téa Delgado." Meanwhile, Blair showed up at the carriage house and instructed Rex to find out Téa's secret.
After changing into a more suitable costume for the day, Dorian inched her way down the stairs in sunglasses in response to a very persistent doorbell. "Hello, Dorian," David mugged.
Tuesday
David arrived at La Boulaie claiming to have realized what's really important. After explaining that he hasn't been fired from his hemorrhoid cr&eecute;me campaign, David sat Dorian down in the garden and announced that he's there to win her back. He said he'd be there for 13 weeks or longer, if she'll have him, and went on to describe a little bit of their history and their friends. When she began to talk about the "graduation day debacle," he curiously told her to speak up. She went on to recap Ray's exit brought on by his daughter's madness. David seemed disappointed that they weren't around and even more dismayed that he'd missed out on all the baby drama. Dorian wasn't fazed by all his questioning and loud gesturing — such as a heroic promise to always protect her followed by a steamy kiss — until she found the tiny microphone under his lapel. After being doused by Dorian's garden hose, a TV crew listened hopefully as David pitched a reality show based on Dorian's houseguests and suggested the title CRAMER VS. CRAMER VS. CRAMER. But Dorian wasn't having it and refused to let him use her family to further his career.
Elijah explained to Bo and Nora that the defense would have to prove that Bo and Nora aren't fit to make a decision about their child's well-being. He also mentioned that Téa and Matthew seem to have something on them. Meanwhile, Téa was nervous around Todd as she thought back to Elijah's assumption that she has something to hide. He sat her down on the bed and said he likes their chances at a real relationship, but Téa pointed out that there's always Blair. He suggested that he try to get his court mandate reversed and move out of Dorian's. When he considered calling Elijah Clarke, Téa shot down the idea immediately. After persuading him to leave, Todd reluctantly took off, promising to return. Meanwhile, Blair offered Rex the job of digging up dirt on Téa, specifically her "big secret." Rex wanted to know why she was so set on ruining Téa's life and wanted a better reason than that she's seeing Todd, but Blair managed to talk him into it.
Over at Rodi's, Matthew reported to Greg that they have a shot at the surgery now that he's been granted trial. Greg admitted that he's not totally comfortable with doing the surgery without Matthew's parents' consent. Rachel looked skeptical, and Matt asked if she would approve of him having the surgery. She explained that she doesn't feel too good about the risk and tried to make him see that he can have a full life the way he is now. After a pep talk from Destiny, Greg returned and volunteered to testify for Matthew since Rachel wouldn't.
Langston showed up at the diner excited for a sailing date with Markko, but her boyfriend had to work another shift to make some money. The stress was clearly getting to him as he snapped at Langston and dropped a plate. Langston offered to loan him some money.
Todd returned to La Boulaie and told Blair it wouldn't be long before he could move out. "It won't be long now, Téa," she whispered to herself afterward. Téa, meanwhile, opened up a mysterious briefcase and looked dismayed upon reviewing its contents.
Wednesday
Over lunch at the Buenos Dias, David told his disappointed TV crew that
their original plan just wasn't going to work. But Markko, thanks to
Langston's eavesdropping, impressed them with his knowledge of the moving
camera and offered to be their new cameraman. David was confused when he
heard that Viki had already married Charlie, and suddenly got a brainstorm.
"Llanfair, here we come!" he declared. When David began talking about all
the unsavory characters he could expose at Viki's, Markko wasn't so sure he
wanted to work on this project. David reminded him and Langston that Markko
once used Langston to make David look like a pervert when they tried to
catch him seducing an underage Langston on videotape.
At Rodi's, John coached Brody on the "pickup" they were scheduled for. When
Mayor Lowell walked in, John threw Brody up against the wall for the mayor's
benefit and chastised him for coming to work high. The mayor publicly
scolded the cop/part-time bar owner for failing to clean up the city's drug
problem.
While picking up trash as part of his "community service," Cole ran into
Starr, who was conveniently having a picnic on the side of the road while
creepy Serge pretended to read a newspaper nearby. Cole pulled his girlfriend
close and explained that he's being watched. Serge approached and made a
creepy remark about accidents happening, then commented on how cute Hope is.
He walked away, but while he was still within earshot, Starr yelled at Cole
about their money problems so that Serge would overhear. Cole sent Starr on
her way and confronted Serge about bothering his girlfriend. They were
promptly interrupted by Brody, who was trying his best to look strung-out
and demanded more drugs from Cole. When Cole tossed Brody aside, Serge
didn't seem impressed, but Cole pointed out that he'd already sold so much
to Brody that he wondered if Brody was selling, too, and cutting them out on
the profit. Serge agreed to let Cole speak to his elusive boss and later
made a call on the teen's behalf.
Jessica was looking at a photo of Nash from an old news article when Marty
wandered and anxiously explained that she's up for reinstatement. Meanwhile,
Dorian and Viki came face-to-face at the hospital board meeting. When Viki
pried into Dorian's public intoxication, Dorian assured her she'd never
again let a man drive her to drink. The meeting commenced and Viki made the
case to reinstate Marty, noting that her mental problems are due to injuries
from a car wreck from which she has recovered. The mayor was the last member
to arrive and announced that he in no way supports Marty working at the
hospital. When it came time to vote, it was 4-4 and Dorian hadn't yet voted.
She raised her hand and shared her personal dislike of Marty, but offered
her support. Afterward, Dorian slyly approached another board member about
having herself reinstated as chief of staff.
Just as Jessica was telling Marty how much she missed Nash, someone was
watching Jared outside the Buchanan offices. Things quickly turned
passionate when Jared found Natalie draped over his desk. While they were
busy having sex, the person dropped an envelope labeled for Jared and
Natalie in a mail tray. Jessica confided to Marty about the weird things
she'd experienced recently and her feeling that she'd seen Nash more than
once. Viki arrived with the joyous news of Marty's reinstatement and
revealed that Lowell was opposed. Marty headed to Rodi's to
share the good news with John but mentioned the setback with the mayor. John
wondered why Lowell was pushing his war on drugs so hard.
Jared and Natalie wrapped up their lovemaking and found the envelope. Inside
was a DVD, so they promptly hit play and were horrified to see a slideshow
of photos illustrating Nash's fatal accident. They realized they were being
watched and Jared nearly caught the guy as he slipped into the elevator.
Jared demanded that the head of security review that day's surveillance
tapes. Natalie wondered who would do something like this, and Jared said he
had an idea: Maybe it's Tess! Natalie acknowledged that Jessica had been
acting strange but is certainly still integrated. David arrived at Viki's
front door, just as Jessica chased down a figure on the terrace.
Thursday
Jessica ran into David's producer lurking on the terrace and accused him of being her stalker. Ford explained that he was just checking camera angles and David backed up his story that they'd just flown in that day. Viki was shocked to hear that her daughter was being stalked. Brody arrived and Jess asked to speak to him alone. Inside, David tried to get Viki on camera but she didn't want to be a part of his reality show. Ford had reached his limit with David.
Layla and Fish returned home from their date and were surprised to see Cristian still at home. While Layla was in the shower, Cris beseeched Fish to come clean with Layla about his sexuality. Fish insisted to Cristian that he's not gay and accused Cristian of using what he saw to get Layla for himself. He just didn't want to see his friend hurt, Cris argued. Cristian finally left for work, and Layla couldn't wait to be alone with her boyfriend.
Greg met Rachel and Shaun for a double date at Capricorn. Shaun and Greg's date, Dr. Wright, were pretty much bystanders as Greg and Rachel argued about Matthew's case. Finally, Greg's date piped up and asked what's going on, then followed Rachel to the ladies' room after she threw a fit. Dr. Wright assured Rachel that she and Greg are purely casual and insinuated that she doesn't mean to stand between her and Greg if they're interested in each other. Rachel insisted that she's not into Greg and is dating his brother. When Rachel and Shaun later headed to the bar, Greg checked her out as she walked away. Meanwhile, Roxy grilled Kyle for details on his steamy kiss with Fish and said no matter what Oliver says he's still as "queer as a three-dollar bill." Cristian arrived for work and revealed to Roxy and Kyle that he had just confronted Fish and threatened to tell Layla the truth. Kyle later explained to Roxy that Mr. and Mrs. Fish are pretty conservative and that may be why Oliver is still in the closet. Greg watched Rachel dancing with Shaun and Dr. Wright pointed out that something is going on between Greg and Rachel.
Layla tried to get frisky with Fish and suggested he keep his uniform on, but Fish was in the mood for a shower ... alone. After his shower, Layla sat Fish down and asked what it was he wanted to tell her earlier. He began to explain that in college he was seeing someone, but was interrupteddom Rodi's bartender poured shots for Marty and John and congratulated "Dr. Saybrooke" on her reinstatement. Brody reported back to John that Serge was watching Cole like a hawk at the park but assured John that Cole knows what he's doing. John found Marty perusing the jukebox selections and noticed that she was upset by one of the songs. She sadly recalled her keyboard-playing days in captivity at Todd's house and wondered just how long John would stick around before he gives up on her. John made a valiant move by opening up the jukebox and announcing his plans to ban that song from the jukebox.
Over at Llanfair, David caught up with Viki, where there were no cameras to be seen. Jessica found Ford, David's pr by a phone call from his parents. Layla was shocked when Fish's parents (on the phone together, apparently) asked to speak with her. Awkward! She giggled her way through the conversation, and they liked her so much they wanted to come for a visit. Layla wondered what the problem was when she saw Oliver's glum face. He lied that there was no problem, and led her to the bedroom. When they began kissing, Oliver couldn't help but think of Kyle. He pulled away and Layla asked what was wrong. He assured her it was nothing and they began kissing on the bed. Cristian called but Layla ignored the call, as things were becoming more passionate. Speaking of passionate, John and Marty enjoyed a romantic dance at Rodi's and began to kiss, but Marty had to stop herself. Marty left and John rested his lonely head on that darn jukebox.
Friday
Fearing that Tea knows about their kiss, Bo and Nora tried to appeal to Matthew's lawyer on a human level before their next hearing. Tea advised the former spouses that Matthew knows about their kiss and might just use it against them in court. Nora noted that Tea might not want her own dirty laundry hanging out. There's none to speak of, Tea argued, and advised her opponents to figure out exactly what they are to each other before they start making threats. Just then, Elijah walked and asked Tea if she's sure she really wants to play like that. Outside the courtroom, Bo reminded Nora that she did kiss him back that night, but she insisted that she's very happy with his brother ... even though for a moment before the wedding she wasn't sure that was possible. She revealed that she even considered stopping the wedding, as did Bo.
At Capricorn, Blair caught Rex up on the Todd/Tea/Ross history on the island, noting that that was the last time anyone had heard from Tea before last fall. She wanted to find out exactly happened between now and then but Rex said all he'd learned was that Tea had "ceased to exist" in that time period. Blair offered to pay Rex anything he wants to get to the bottom of this so she can bring down Tea -- and Todd right along with her. Rex asked Blair if this was what she really wanted, but Blair tried to appeal to Rex as a parent. Rex got where she was coming from, and Blair asked him not to try to talk her out of this again.
Gigi told Roxy that Rex is going to be a dad. Roxy was thrilled to hear that she was going to be a grandma a second time but was disgusted to hear that crazy Stacy was the baby mama. Gigi expressed her fear that Stacy's going to milk this baby for all it's worth with Rex. Roxy asked Gigi if she thinks Rex is still mad at her, just as Rex walked in and told Roxy to ask him herself.
Meanwhile, Stacy's stripper friend Kimberly drank her airplane bottle of liquor as she listened to Stacy's sob story about losing Rex's baby. "No baby, no Rex," Stacy lamented. Kim didn't think it was that big a deal that Stacy wasn't pregnant, but Stacy filled her in on what happened after she lost the baby, that Rex came over that morning and sweetly declared that he would take care of her and the baby. Kim asked if anyone else knows about the miscarriage, and when Stacy revealed that no one else did, Kim suggested they keep it that way. Stacy thought Kim meant she'd have to fake the pregnancy, but Kim had something else in mind: Just get pregnant again.
The morning after making love to Fish, Layla was beaming but Cristian warned her not to get hurt. Fish walked in and asked what was going on, but Cris backed off. Once they were alone, Fish told Cris to stay out of their business and insisted that what Cristian saw does not mean he is gay. Cristian inquired as to why he's hiding who he is. Layla returned and asked Fish once again if there's something she needs to know before they take things any further. "There is something you need to know and it's probably going to freak you out," he began. But, he chickened out and just said she means a lot to him. Layla was none the wiser.
Over lunch at Rodi's, Todd explained to Mini Todd that he may be moving out of La Boulaie. Jack wasn't too happy to hear this and asked what exactly his dad has planned. Todd announced that he's going to sue for joint-custody. "Since when do you know how to share?" Jack barked. Todd looked distressed when Jack brought up what happened in the cabana with Blair but tried to use it as an example of what not to do. Jack advised his dad to "make it work" with Tea, because he likes his dad better when he's with her.
