One Life To Live Recaps

OLTL Week of April 5, 2010

Monday

After Cristian gave Jessica a ride home, she had a question about her homework assignment and he had to explain the Internet to her. Natalie walked in to find Cristian sitting close to Jess on the couch and asked what was going on. Jessica jumped all over Natalie and told her not to take out her unrequited feelings for John on them. Jessica stormed out, leaving Natalie flabbergasted. Cristian and Natalie sat down for a heart-to-heart, and Nat admitted to Cris that it does hurt to see John and Marty happy together. She recalled the accident that led to her and John getting stranded and reconnecting in the woods.

Roxy became emotional as she told Allison that she confessed the truth to Rex about his parentage. She was astonished when Allison mentioned that the baby Roxy gave birth to didn't die. Allison informed her that her son is very much alive ... and she hates his guts for what he did to Rex. Roxy couldn't believe it: Schuyler Joplin is her son!

Upon arriving at Viki's cabin, it became clear to Gigi that Sierra Rose wasn't there and she might be in danger. She wanted to leave, but he shakily held out a gun, telling her there's no way she's leaving. "We belong together," he argued, then proceeded to explain his faulty reasoning for why. He even threw down a pillow on the floor and pleaded with her to make love to him like they did a few months ago. She tried to make him see that this is crazy, but he was too far gone. "I'll put the gun down if we make love," he said, getting down on one knee.

Kelly stopped by John's to share her theory that her mother was murdered, but he was distracted by Marty's situation. He was about to head out to see her when he received a call from Marty saying she was too tired for a visit. Kelly suggested they talk now about Melinda's possible murder. She told him about the weird phone calls she's been getting and how Todd is helping her. John furrowed his brow when she mentioned Todd, and she explained that she's working at The Sun. Meanwhile, Todd ran into Ta at Statesville and tried to comfort her over her worry for Schuyler.

Over lunch at Rodi's, Destiny shook her head when Matthew had to remind Danielle about the casting announcements for the school musical. At the bar, Rex and Bo caught Nora up on all the Mitch/Sierra/Schuyler drama of the last few days and Nora realized that they're looking for Gigi because she might be in danger. Rex deduced that if Schuyler did run off with Gigi, he probably took her to Viki's cabin because that's where they made love. They rushed over to the cabin with a team of cops and saw that Schuyler's car was parked nearby. They quietly surrounded the place while Schuyler cried to Gigi that he has nothing left. When Gigi thought he was going to kill himself, she let out a scream, which alarmed Rex and Bo.

Tuesday

Roxy overheard Todd and Téa discussing Schuyler and said she needs to know what's happening with her son. Téa and Todd were understandably confused, but Roxy explained that Allison lied to her and only just revealed the truth. Meanwhile, Rex rushed in to the cabin after hearing Gigi scream and found Schuyler poised to shoot himself. He was aiming a gun at Rex when Bo walked in and pleaded with Schuyler to put the gun down. Schuyler hesitated, then shakily lowered the gun only to raise it back up suddenly. Bo, having stepped in front of Rex and Gigi, took the bullet. Schuyler couldn't believe what he'd just done as he watched Rex and Gigi tend to a bleeding, unconscious Bo. Brody forced a barely lucid Schuyler onto the ground and cuffed him. Bo writhed in pain and groaned to Rex, "You owe me one, buddy."

Destiny and Danielle tried to involve Matthew in their musical debate, but he was distracted by Nora, who was unable to reach Bo. Growing more concerned, Nora tried him again and this time Gigi picked up. Gigi had no choice but to tell Nora that Bo had been shot. Matthew watched with concern as Nora clearly heard some bad news. Destiny and Danielle put their squabbling aside for their friend.

Layla apologized to Cristian for overreacting to him spending time with Jessica, which made him hesitate to tell her that he'd just come from Jessica's. Meanwhile, Jessica quarreled with Natalie, who was trying to advise her sister to give up on Cristian.

John ran into Kyle and Oliver, who was beaming as he held baby Sierra Rose. He figured out that Oliver suspected he was a dad a few weeks ago when he'd spoken with John about kids. John congratulated the new father, leaving him and Kyle to sort out what happens next. Oliver was nervous about raising a newborn, but Kyle assured him they'd figure it out one day at a time. They brought the baby over to Cristian and Layla's, and Layla immediately wanted to plan a baby shower. Roxy soon arrived to see Kyle, and was surprised to find Sierra Rose there. After learning that Schuyler's not even Sierra's father, she handed the baby back to Fish and headed to Rodi's for a drink. When she got there, Todd was happy to report that Schuyler's in the clink.

Bo was rushed to the hospital, while Schuyler was taken to the police station, where Brody angrily interrogated him. Téa arrived to find Brody yelling at Schuyler and told him to back off of her client. Schuyler revealed to Téa that he's not Sierra Rose's father, and as he rambled on about the events of the day, she realized how far gone he really is. She went to tell an officer to put her client on suicide watch, then returned to Schuyler and instructed him not to talk to anyone. Meanwhile, Nora and Matthew arrived as Bo was admitted to the ER. John comforted a distraught Nora, who wanted to be present when Greg examined Bo. Matthew chose this time to apologize for suing his parents last year, and told his mom how much he cares about her and Bo. Natalie arrived at the hospital and ran into John, who informed her about her uncle's condition. John wrapped his arms around her when he saw how upset she was. Rex was about to tell Nora something important when Bo's condition suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Wednesday

Gigi stopped by Fish's place to check in on the baby. She was relieved to
see that Sierra Rose was okay. When Gigi told Fish about Bo's shooting Fish
wanted to head to the hospital, but Gigi replied that his place is with his
daughter. Kyle asked Gigi if she wanted to hold the baby. Gigi nodded, then asked Fish how long he'd known he was Sierra Rose's father.
Fish answered that he suspected for a while, but he also knew that Rex
definitely was not. Gigi appreciated his honesty and said that Sierra Rose
resembled her daddy.

At their apartment, Markko anxiously awaited Langston's return. He was
disappointed to see it was Cole who came through the door. "Thanks," Cole
replied. Cole then warned his pal not to act jealous. Just then, Langston
entered. "Where have you been?" Markko exclaimed. Hannah called Cole and he
left. Afterward, Langston supplied a legitimate alibi and Markko apologized.

In the hospital hall, Marty caught John and Natalie's embrace. Nat saw her
and quickly excused herself. As the doctors worked on Bo, he began to crash.
Nora and Matthew were frantic. John, Marty and Rex arrived to offer her
comfort. Nora asked Rex why Schuyler would shoot Bo. Rex admitted that Bo
took the bullet meant for him. Nora hugged Rex. John assured Matthew that Bo
would be okay, and Jessica approached Natalie and hugged her sister.

Starr went to see Ford at his office and advised him to stop seeing
Langston. Ford told her to back off and pointed out that Starr, "was just
some little slut who got pregnant in high school." Moreover, Starr may not know her best friend as well as she thinks she does, he snarked.
Starr asked Ford if he had real feelings for Langston. Kids her age don't know what they want, he replied, and he wouldn't be surprised if Cole
was fooling around with Hannah. Starr insisted her and Cole's relationship
was solid. Starr had enough but before leaving, told Ford that one day soon
Langston will come to her senses, and he will never know what true love is
like. Ford called Langston and asked her to come over, an offer she refused. With a sigh, Ford ordered a pizza, and asked if Karen was
delivering.

Roxy showed up at the police station and told Schuyler that she's his
mother. "I know," he replied. "And you must hate my guts." He ordered her to
turn around and forget that he's her son. After Schuyler pointed out he's
the worst possible candidate to be her son, she countered that he could do
better in the mother department, too, and said she'd stand by Schuyler. She
hugged Schuyler and a moment later, he hugged back.

Cole met Hannah at the hospital and she calmed him when he couldn't find
Marty. Hannah thanked Cole for keeping her problems a secret with Starr.
John returned Marty to her room, where she assured Cole that she was fine.
She did tell her son that she has a high-risk pregnancy. John then informed
Cole that Schuyler shot Bo. In the hall, Hannah hugged an upset Cole,
which Starr witnessed.

Bo survived his surgery but Greg told Nora that his condition was still
touch and go. As he regained consciousness, Nora told him
that she loved him. Bo then told Matthew not to worry about him. Rex thanked
Bo, who replied that if he had to do it over, he'd still take the bullet for
him.

Thursday

Greg explained to Nora and Bo's family that he's out of surgery but not necessarily out of the woods. Clint arrived, thanks to Natalie, and asked how Bo got himself shot. When she said she had a hard time reaching her dad, Clint confessed that he and Kim split up the night before. He said it was all right, so long as he still has his brother, and looked over in the direction of Bo's room. Nora went to see Bo and saw that he was unconscious and hooked up to a respirator. Clint walked in and shared an awkward glance with Nora, who stood silently by as he told Bo he can't imagine a world without his brother. Nora wept with joy upon hearing those words.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Gigi and Rex ran into Roxy, who confirmed that Rex is definitely not her son. Rex wanted to know who her real son is, and she explained about the baby switch and how Schuyler is actually her son. Rex couldn't believe his ears, especially when she said she wants to be there for Schuyler because she wants a second chance at being a mom. Later, Gigi reminded Rex that she has to go to the custody hearing the next day, and Rex was surprised to hear that she still plans to sue now that Sierra Rose has Oliver. Meanwhile, Schuyler showed up for his arraignment, where Téa announced that he pleads not guilty by reason of insanity.

Todd gave Langston a hard time about her musical and how he's perceived in it, as if he didn't have a company to run or something else to do with his time. Starr appeared and told her dad that everything in that script is true and managed to send him packing. Todd decided to go to La Boulaie to rain on someone else's parade. After, Starr recounted her conversation with Ford for Langston, who said she feels like Markko is trying to trap her into staying with him. Starr advised Langston to end things now with Ford, but Langston said she planned to break up with Markko.

Kelly walked in to the La Boulaie kitchen to find a shirtless Elijah prepping breakfast. They began fighting over the spatula, which Blair wasn't too pleased to walk in on. She told Kelly to keep her hands off her man, and Kelly backed off, saying she wasn't interested. Todd arrived, gave a dirty look to Eli and announced he was there to see Kelly. He helped himself to some food and explained that his P.I. figured out that the mysterious calls she received came from the sanitarium. When she said she had to tell John, Todd was clearly jealous and bragged that he can get answers faster than John can. Blair paled when Kelly mentioned that Marty is having John's baby, then told Eli she's only upset because she hates Marty.

John brought a newly released Marty back to his place. They kissed but were interrupted by a call about Kelly's case. He explained that he's got a lead but will ask someone else to pursue it, since he has to stay and care for Marty. She told him not to worry so much and to do his job. At La Boulaie, Todd was telling Kelly that there's not enough room two men in this investigation just as McBain arrived.

Rex visited Bo and told his unconscious friend how much he values Bo. After, Natalie reminded him of a prayer they said when they were little. They said the prayer together as Nora sat vigil by Bo, who finally opened his eyes. Meanwhile, Schuyler stood to enter his plea and locked eyes with Gigi.

Friday

After Gigi's arrival in the courtroom, Schuyler shocked the judge by saying
he doesn't want to enter a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. He made an honest plea regarding his actions, saying he wants to take full responsibility. The
judge made it clear that this most likely means prison time, but Schuyler wanted to pay for what he did to Gigi and Bo.

John reported to Kelly that he's got a lead in her mother's case. Todd grumbled about John's inability to prevent disaster, but Kelly told him to shut his trap. John said he plans to go to California to check out the lead, so Kelly offered to go with him. Todd told her she can't, or she's fired! Kelly reminded him that her contract includes paid time off, and she's taking it. Blair giggled with delight as Kelly further informed him that she's taking the company jet to California.

Greg examined Bo as Nora excitedly told Bo's loved ones that he had regained
consciousness. When Greg returned, he was happy to announce that Bo is
expected to make a full recovery. Matthew visited his dad and recalled what
it was like to be in the hospital. At school, Destiny and Danielle plotted how to sneak in to the hospital to see Matt. Danielle was just saying their friendship is more important than the play when Mr. G arrived with the cast list. Destiny was not pleased to hear that she's been cast as Langston, while Dani has the lead role of Starr. Matthew returned to school and found the girls arguing about the play. They looked over the cast list and discovered that Matthew will be playing Markko. Meanwhile, Langston tearfully told Starr that she can't be Markko's girlfriend anymore because he deserves better. Starr cleared out of the loft so that Lang and Markko could have some space. Markko arrived bearing gifts, but Langston interrupted him and said they needed to talk.

Rex sat with Bo at the hospital and told him he can never get shot again.
After, Natalie advised Rex to spend some time with Roxy. Brody told Natalie
about his bet with Jessica and his plan to win her back. Looking over in
Jessica's direction, Natalie urged Brody to kick things up a notch. Nat then
ran into John and threw herself into another hug. John told her he's heading
out of town for a few days, so she asked him to be careful. Meanwhile, Clint
went to see Bo and admitted that the shooting made him realize that they need to fix things between them to honor their late father. Clint then promised they'd work on that as soon as Bo heals from his injury. Finally, Nora returned and the first thing Bo had to say to her was: "Will you marry me?" Nora was speechless.

Kyle and Oliver arrived at the courthouse with Sierra Rose. Schuyler emerged
from the courtroom just as he was saying to Gigi how he thinks she'll be a
great mother. He asked Kyle if he could have a moment with Oliver and Sierra
Rose, and told the baby that he knows Oliver will take good care of her. Oliver wished him luck. Roxy and the guard escorted Schuyler back to holding and came face-to-face with Rex. Before he was led away by the guard, Schuyler told Rex he never stood a chance with Gigi. Rex tiptoed into courtroom as the custody hearing got underway.
