Tess and Ford watched ACCESS LLANVIEW as Phyllis Rose was about to drop her big Buchanan bombshell. Tess took full credit for what was going down, saying that it will ruin Viki's chances of getting custody of Ryder for good. Ford lashed out, saying that Viki's a good person. Matthew and Nora were also watching. Matthew was freaking out that Phyllis is going to reveal that he's the killer, especially after she said she's got some serious scoop from inside the Buchanan family.

Charlie called Rex about Shane and lent his support. Meanwhile, Echo listened to Clint's voicemail, assuring her that he kept her secret and is trying his best to act "like a human being." Echo was pleased. Later, Charlie and Echo prepared to make their public debut as a couple. Meanwhile, at Llanfair, Viki and Nat also turned on ACCESS and were floored to see the pic of Echo and Charlie kissing. Nat was floored; Viki said she already knew about it and scoffed as she said that Charlie and Echo are "in love." Natalie was miffed when she found out Tess was responsible and left to go confront her.

At Buenos Dias Café, Destiny and Dorian turned on Phyllis. Dorian was outraged when she saw the photo of Echo and Charlie and called her a "slutty cow" ‹ just as Echo walked in with Charlie. Dorian was happy rub their now public scandal in Echo's face. After, Dorian lashed out at Charlie for not ending the affair when she warned him to. Charlie explained that Viki already knows and the marriage is over. Dorian didn't buy any of it and said that Echo was in with Clint from the get-go and that she knew about Rex's real paternity all along! Charlie called Dorian's bluff.

Back on ACCESS LLANVIEW, Phyllis revealed she had another lead on the Minute Man Motel murderer, then surmised that Bo might have been covering for Nora considering they dropped the charges so fast on Clint. Destiny met a new reporter, Blanca Morales, who was eager to beat Phyllis to the scoop on Eddie's murder story. She gave Des her card and said to call her if she finds out anything more regarding the murder.

Bo confronted Clint for his role in covering up Matthew's crime. Clint claimed he was just trying to protect his nephew but Bo called his bluff, saying that Clint's only purpose was to manipulate and turn Matthew against his parents. "You knew when everything blew up that Eddie would be dead and my son would have blood on his hands," Bo seethed. Clint urged Bo to let Matthew go, lest he spend the rest of his life in jail. Bo explained he doesn't want Matthew to turn out just like his uncle. Oh, snap! Bo refused to ever forgive Clint for what he'd done. Clint, meanwhile, got sweaty and gripped a chair. Much to Bo's surprise, he seemed to actually be affected by Bo's words. Bo left in a fit of rage.

Meanwhile, Nora asked Matthew what he thinks they should do about his situation. She was emotional and wracked with guilt for all the suffering they inadvertently caused innocent people during it all, including Nate Salinger. Matthew was frustrated and said he understands if his parents want to turn him in and said he's ready to confess. He then started crying as he recalled again what happened the night of the crime, saying he never meant for Eddie to actually die. Nora asked her son if he can face the truth that he killed a man. Matthew said he can't blame Clint for his own actions and it's not right for him to walk around free after what he did. Nora wondered if her son is asking her to turn him into the authorities. Later, Bo returned and told Matthew and Nora about his encounter with Clint. "He'll get what's coming to him," Nora spat.

Rex admitted to Gigi that he's worried that he wasn't a good enough father to Shane. They talked about what to do to mend their shattered family. He said they need to do more than just take Shane to counseling. Then he got down on one knee and asked Gigi to marry him. She was floored.

Back at the Ford apartment, Tess explained to Ford that the reason she's there is because Jessica's childhood was traumatic and Jess created Tess as a defense mechanism when she was molested after Viki (as Niki) left her alone with creeps at a bar. Ford was sympathetic and concerned. Later, Nat paid Ford a visit and implored him to realize that Tess is trying to sabotage everyone.

Tess went to visit Viki and called her a hypocrite. She demanded Viki drop her plea for Ryder's custody and needled her about Echo and Charlie's relationship being public, suggesting that Viki is the laughing stock of Llanview. Viki refused but was rattled. Tess continued to berate Viki for what she (or rather Niki) did to her all those years ago. Viki broke down and sobbed. She said she's not feeling well. Tess wondered if Viki was having a heart attack and laughed at the thought. Then, Viki suddenly regained her composure and snapped, "God, you're annoying!" and announced to Tess that "Niki Smith is back!"

Clint tried to pour himself a drink but couldn't. He clutched his heart and yelled for help, but no one came. Then he hit the floor, passing out from a sudden heart attack.

Gigi was stunned by Rex's proposal. She feared that Rex was doing it for the wrong reasons. He explained that a lot has changed in their lives and they're not in the right place to move forward in their relationship and rebuild their shattered family. Gigi fretted about focusing on Shane instead of a wedding. Rex explained he wants to stop taking her for granted and gave a passionate plea and declaration of love, saying that he wants to prove that he's half as good as she is. She was touched and accepted.

Téa and Blair had lunch at Buenos Dias and discussed how ridiculous it is that John thinks Tomas is involved in Todd's shooting. Blair wondered why Téa had to ask her brother if he's innocent if she was so sure he didn't do it. Blair also said that Tomas's file on Todd is weird and suggested that Téa knows her brother about as well as she knew crazy Eli. Blair said she wouldn't date Tomas until she knows who he is; Téa said it would be better anyway. Blair took it as a challenge. Meanwhile, John questioned Tomas at the police station and asked about his heated argument with Todd before the shooting. Tomas handed over his passport and wondered if he's being fingered for the crime. John asked what he was doing with the wedding photo of Todd and Blair, saying his story sounds made up. Later, Tomas stopped by the café and Blair wasted no time asking him out, which irked Téa. Blair used the opportunity to find out what she can about Tomas.

Echo promised Charlie, still reeling from his encounter with Dorian, that she'd never do something to hurt him and was certain that Dorian wouldn't find out anything in going to Clint. Charlie surmised that Tess is the only person cruel enough to want to hurt Viki by leaking the photo. Dorian, meanwhile, headed to the mansion, where she stumbled upon Clint suffering from a heart attack and used his weakened situation to her full advantage. She refused to help him at first, saying that Karma's a bitch. He begged her for mercy. Clint finally relented and gave Dorian the tape of Echo confessing that she's known all along about Rex's paternity and begging him to keep quiet.

At Llanfair, Niki reemerged ‹ much to Tess's dismay. Niki was eager to find a drink and told Tess that she's responsible for bringing her back. "The photo of Echo kissing Charlie was a five-alarmer!" Niki explained. The alters bickered but Niki was too excited to finally be free and said she owes Tess for helping her emerge. When Niki found a bottle of booze, Tess swiped it from her and was desperate to control Niki's wild behavior.

Concerned that James was getting a little too close with his ex at the apartment, Starr suggested Deanna come to live with her and the Cramer clan at La Bouliae. James was hesitant, but agreed. He told Starr to stop worrying and they shared a kiss, much to Deanna's chagrin. Starr happily made arrangements to have Deanna stay in Langston's room and they departed together. James was wary.

John ran prints on Tomas but they came up classified.... Rex and Gigi celebrated their engagement with couch sex and beers.... Niki and Tess both received calls from the judge about Ryder's custody hearing.... Dorian finally called 911 for Clint.

As Dorian called 911 for ailing Clint, Rama walked in and screamed when she saw Buchanan having a heart attack. Aubrey and Joey rushed in. Clint was unconscious; the ambulance was on its way.

Starr showed Deanna her new room and got choked up when she saw some of Langston's items got left behind. Deanna sensed that Starr's only being nice because she doesn't want Deanna spending time with James. Starr was confident that James had moved on. Starr asked why Deanna and James broke up. Deanna was defensive. The girls bickered but agreed to get along for James.

At the Ford pad, James interrogated Ford about how long Tess will be living there. Ford defended his wife, saying she has a plan to get Ryder, adding that she's a survivor ands smart. James was surprised by his brother's new attitude toward Tess. He explained how Jess was abused, which brought out Tess; James was stunned, then asked if Bobby has developed real feelings for Tess. Ford was shocked that Langston moved to L.A. and didn't say good-bye. James caught his bro up on the Deanna situation; Ford offered to pay for Deanna to go back to Ohio and warned James not to ruin what he has with Starr.

At Llanfair, Natalie arrived and was outraged that Tess brought Niki out. "Tell me what's going on or I will make you pay," Nat spat. She threatened to call St. Ann's, saying Tess is officially a danger to others. Tess tried to play it cool and got Niki to pretend to be Viki and claim that she was faking the Niki nonsense just to get a rise out of her. Tess convinced Nat that she's telling the truth. Niki stepped up and played Viki to a hilt, reassuring Nat that Niki hadn't in fact returned. Joey called Nat about Clint, who'd been rushed to the hospital. Meanwhile, Niki and Tess agreed to stay in cahoots. Nat was thrown when Viki (really Niki) said she'd stay at home instead of going with her to the hospital.

At Capricorn, Kelly had a drink and caught up with Cutter, who was there to meet Tess. Kelly questioned Cutter about what Aubrey thinks about him seeing Tess and called him out on sleeping with his "sister" and said she knows about Clint's tape, adding that he should be worried. She said she won't say anything to hurt Joey but warned Cutter that the truth will come out. She tried to piece together why Aubrey and Joey were still together and what part of the plan Cutter was in on. Tess showed up and traded barbs with Kelly and smooched Cutter, who said Joey has given his blessing for them to be together. Tess later confided to Cutter that her big plan is coming together tomorrow.

Rama told Aubrey that if Clint dies, there's no one to expose Aubrey and Cutter. Aubrey was forced to say that Tess knows about the plan, too. Rama wondered what would happen if Cutter fell for Tess and Aubrey started to love Joey.

At the hospital, Joey was shaken and thanked Dorian for being there to save Clint's life. Dorian recalled the real reason why she went to the mansion in the first place. "There's something I have to tell you about your wife," Dorian explained but was interrupted by frantic Nat's arrival. The doctor explained that there was extensive damage to Clint's heart because the attack went on for so long; he's still unconscious.

Dorian went to Llanfair and saw Niki (playing Viki) throwing booze down the drain. Dorian confessed that she's known about Charlie and Echo all along, saying she wanted Viki to be spared. Then she presented Niki with the tape of Echo's confession, saying they now have the power to destroy her. Dorian played the tape and said they should use it to bring Echo down.

Cutter was miffed when Rama informed him that Aubrey wanted to be with Joey at the hospital.... Joey was emotional at Clint's bedside; Aubrey seemed to genuinely care about his grief. Distraught Nat called Niki, who was annoyed that her plan to go out and party was put on hold so she could pretend to care as Viki.... Tess informed Ford that she's finally come up with a plan that will secure Ryder's custody and get them money.

Gigi and Rex happily informed Shane that they are engaged. He wasn't as thrilled. Later, during the family's therapy session, Gigi was miffed when Dr. Buhari wanted private session with her son. Rex told her it's the best thing to help Shane's recovery. After, Dr. Buhari asked Shane about his parents engagement. He surmised they're getting married just to make things better, but admitted that some things will never be fixed. Shane still thought he was a loser. Gigi was upset when the Buhari cited patient/doc confidentiality and refused to tell her what Shane said in his session. Gigi was still wracked with guilt for not helping Shane sooner.

At the hospital, Tomas paid comatose Todd a visit and revealed a mysterious syringe. He was about to inject Todd when Nate and Dani suddenly entered. He dropped the syringe, which Dani later discovered and passed off to a nurse, who said they don't use that type at the hospital. Nate pointed out that it was weird and wondered if Tomas may have dropped the syringe. Dani got defensive. Shaun urged them to tell the cops. Brody brought little Liam to Natalie to help console her as she waited for an update on Clint's condition; Nat was touched by the gesture. Brody comforted and supported her as she grappled with her family issues. She told him he is amazing and gave him a tight hug. Rex arrived, much to Nat's surprise. He didn't know about Clint's heart attack. Rex was unaffected, saying that he doesn't consider Clint part of his family.

At Capricorn, Blair shot down Jack's request to go to Aruba with his friend's family during spring break and forced him to do some chores. The teen copped an attitude, which prompted Blair to warn her son that she's being easy on him compared to the wrath Todd will bring when he wakes up. Later, a thug roughed up Jack when he was alone and told him to stop messing with Shane. Tomas came to the teen's rescue and chased the thugs away, just as Blair walked in. She tended to Jack's busted head and was stunned that Jack's attacker warned him to stay way from Shane. A rattled Blair took Jack to the ER. Tomas pleaded with her not to call the cops.

At LPD, Kelly called John to say she wants to cook him dinner that night. Marty overheard and also asked John to have dinner with her; he said he had other plans. John later presented Bo with the classified prints he found that belong to Tomas and they discussed why the CIA would have a file on Delgado. Bo wondered if Tomas could be an international criminal who is using his musician story as a cover. Bo said he'd talk to his contacts at the agency. Later, Brody informed Bo of his brother's heart attack.

Kelly was surprised when Marty showed up to say that John is only using Kelly to hurt Nat. Kelly realized that Marty was asking her to back off so she can be with John herself. Marty then hinted that she had a hand in ending John and Nat's relationship. Kelly called Marty deluded and later reported the odd encounter to John, who decided to pay Marty's doc a visit.

Blair dropped Jack off at the hospital, then fetched her insurance card at Todd's office. There, she discovered a curious file taped to the bottom of his desk. Jack, meanwhile, confronted Shane and accused Rex of sending the Thugs. Rex told Gigi about Clint and was clearly upset.

Marty freaked out to Dr. Buhari about John "ditching" her for Kelly and hinted that she did something big to keep him from Nat. She then pulled out the DNA test and revealed that baby Liam is really John's, not Brody's.

Rex told Gigi that Clint had had a heart attack. "I'm numb right how," he claimed when she asked how he felt about it.

Shane was stunned to know that Jack knew about his suicide attempt. Gigi interrupted an argument between Shane and Jack. Jack accused Rex of being behind his facial bruises. Gigi wondered if Rex had hired "muscle" to hurt Jack but then decided that Clint must have behind the attack. Jack had been impressed that Tomas has gone "ninja" on his attackers. Blair begged Jack to leave Shane alone. Jack headed to the police station and demanded that they arrest Rex for assault.

Blair opened the mysterious envelope she found near Todd's desk. She and Kelly wondered why Todd was hiding a photo of himself, pre-surgery. Both women tried to decipher the papers. Blair shared that John suspects Tomas in Todd's shooting. Kelly tried to run a decoder program on the papers.

Tomas' pal Claude showed up in Llanview to help him. He suggested to Tomas that "someone else take the job." Tomas assured his friend that he covered up his tracks with John. Tomas smiled at the thought of his date with Blair even though Claude wondered if Blair might be on to him. Tomas was sure there was no way Blair would find out anything. Blair entered the bar while the men were still talking.

Dani jumped to Tomas' defense when Shaun and Nate wondered if Tomas had dropped the mysterious syringe by Todd's bed.

Natalie told John about Clint's heart attack. Shaun brought Dani and Nate to John so they tell him about the syringe. Natalie volunteered to do some forensic work on the crime and handed over Liam to John for safekeeping. Natalie found the syringe and Shaun reported that Todd hadn't been injected with anything. Natalie took back Liam, who had just been treated to John's rendition of "Oh Danny Boy."

Marty told her doctor that Natalie actually had given birth to John's baby. Marty confessed to a stunned doctor that she changed Natalie's DNA test. "Such a relief to say that out loud," Marty smiled. The doctor told Marty she had to tell John and Natalie the truth. Marty reminded Dr. Buhari that because of client/patient privilege Dr. Buhari couldn't tell anyone the truth. She added that John belongs to her, not Natalie. Dr. Buhari labeled her tape of the session with Marty and asked her assistant to file the tapes (Shane's and Marty's). John and Gigi both rushed in to see Dr. Buhari. Gigi saw the tape of Shane's appointment on the assistant's desk. John wanted to talk to the doctor about Marty.
