I've never watched Days so I can't comment on it & haven't watched AMC in years but USED to watch the Bold & the Beautiful & recently stopped b/c I'm so tired of the same old same old between Brooke/Ridge/Taylor, we've been there, done that, let's move on already. I tuned in the other day ONLY to see Don Diamont's first day but even he isn't enough to make me continue to watch.An Emmy nomination.....seriously? Now I think I will stop watching the daytime Emmy awards as well as The Bold & The Beautiful.

The major networks are not broadcasting them and the nomination process is crazy. The B&B re uses the same story like you said over and over again. The acting is good but the best soap on, no way. Days I had heard went down hill and they got rid of a lot of major characters. Weird. And I know everyone is unhappy with it.

Honey, the awards have been a joke for a long time. I only watch to see whos with who and who's wearing what? That's the only reason to watch really. And with this year's nominations, OMG...puppets, somebody somewhere is pulling some strings....jmo and it's probably right.

I haven't watched one of the shows since it was on NBC one year and Days was played at night for one episode as a lead in. Probably around the time Marlena was possessed. What was that? Late '90's maybe? It used to be a honor to be nominated and now it's a cringe-worthy joke. I can't even watch for the fashion because you'll see them in SoWeekly and OK! magazine.

I agree, the Nominations have been a joke. I am still in shock that Y&R didn't get nominated for best show. AMC & Days has been barely watchable this past year. Ive almost given up on AMC & Days, Im so tired of everything being centered around Ryan,Annie, Zach and Kendall. I am a huge Days fan, but they got rid of their best actors/actresses just to bring in a bunch of newbies. It has gotten a little bit more tolerable lately, but not enough to get best show, which Im sad to say. Bo & Hope are hardly ever on and Peter Reckell being nominated this time, is the Best part about the nominations for Days, Im just upset that Kristian Alfonso (Hope), Stephen Nichols(Steve) and Mary Beth Evans(Kayla), didn't get nominated, they were ripped off. I know that some of the SL for Y&R have been badly written, (the chipmunk, tyra/ana, billy/mac, drabby and nick flip flopping back in forth between sharon and phyllis), enough already. And I must have missed something, does anyone know why Adam is gaslighting Ashley. Is it to get back at Victor or some other reason. I know I am happy that Melody Thomas Scott(Nikki) is staying. I looked it up and the Daytime Emmys will be broadcast on the CW television network on Sunday, August 30 at 8pm. Good luck to all the nominees.

Adam feels that he is a second class citizen next to Nick, Vicki, Abby, and the "baby". He didn't start gaslighting her until she became pregnant. Don't know why he feels that Victor doesn't care about him. It was his mother who didn't want Victor to have any contact with him. I like that we have a villian on the show.I believe that ATWT, GH, and Y&R had better storylines than AMC and B&B. The voting is just biased it is just silly.
