Just read they are recasting the role of Tucker with Stephen Nicols from Days. There seems to be a bit of an age difference with actors. Was liking the new guy. I wonder why they are doing that or why they didn't offer the role to Stephen to begin with, weird!
I thought so too so I looked it up. William Russ was born in 1950 and Stephen Nichols was born in 1951--only 1 year apart. Nichols just looks MUCH younger.
So let me get this right....an actor that is totally working as a new character on the canvas...great chemisty...storyline...TALENT.. and they drop him to repalce him with a very awsome actor, but we are stuck with Drabby and Ditsey???? Where is the freakin justice for us viewers, REALLY This is NUTS, no in my happy place.....

Wow, not insulting or trying to really thought there was an age difference. I guess the gray hair. Oh well, don't get why they are doing it. If they wanted Stephen why not write a part for him? Replace the new guy already, too bad.
I completely agree with all of you. This guy playing Tucker right now blended in fabulously like he had been there for years and he is so appealing to the viewers - its a shame that they replaced him before he gets his feet wet. I don't know the new actor but he already has big shoes to fill.
Stephen Nichols should do great, and I like him as an actor, but I really liked the current guy. It was a seamless transition, which doesn't happen often on our beloved show.
of course they are thinking or HOPING some Days people or even GH people will start watching. The problem sometimes when you bring in an actor from another show they are still identified as that character such as "Patch"
Fully agree!! I didnt even know who he was until you said Patch and it clicked in.. So true.

Okay, love Stephen Nichols, but really enjoy the guy playing Tucker right now. Why would they bring hi on just to switch, and better yet, a character that can act and is working out well gets replaced and we still end up with Drabby and Ditzy? Go figure.
