Must say as always Murphy & Kay just melt my heart.....It was nice to see Brock in there as well, but did he spend anytime with his daughter? I know he mentioned it but nothing more..Back to Murph it was nice to see him have scenes with KAy. Wish they'd have more scenes together, and not just when there's trouble of some sort, or they need him for window dressing. How realistic a couple discussing end of life plans. Even though they had vastly different ways of looking and HOW they wanted life to go on or end. Love how he took charge of the Tucker situation, but do you think that he and Brock needed to keep him away from Kay like that? I realize that Kay never asked for Tucker, but at least he was concermed about her.....and wanted to see her. Do you think that is was for Murph & Brock to decide not to let him see Kay, reguardless of the reasons behind it? What if something HAD happened to Kay, and that was the last time Tucker got to see her? He'd have been far more resentful towards the both of them. Liked or not he IS Kay's son........for now anyway...look at Jill.
and all of this drama in part for something that's a lie. That's the real rub. The ppl that are suffering the most need to be let in on the secret. And I too think that somehow Tuc will turn this around and use it against Kay....Yes there were quite a few ppl in the room. BTW costume dept. No more bows on Nikki's head.
I thought I'd never say this but dear lord, woman I agree with alot of what you said. But.. Murphy, feeling that tucker was behind the collapse of Kay, even told him so, as he saw them 'squabling" just before the collapse, and he and brock have no clue what they discussed, so I can fully see WHY he felt the need to keep tucker out. Personally, if I had witnessed her talking to tucker, then the appearance of them arguing, then watching her collapse, and not sure if he was going to lose her, well, I'd do the same thing im affraid. Keep the "suspected" threat away, until all is revealed. I simply adore them two,( murphy and my beloved katherine) and WANT more of them. To see him cry for her, broke my heart!
I am very proud of you blue, agreeing on what was said and admitting that you agreed. Happiness in the forum, baby steps, but good ones. hee hee hee. Yes, I also agree, Murph was being a guard dog, and it totally makes sense. but as big as a deal as they made it, now we need to see him ask Katherine about it, and have him be a man and go apologize to open the door to reconciliation. Murph would be that man, totally and it was very sad watching him cry over is beloved. And true, no more hair bows for Nikki, the woman is in her 50's for God Sake, holy pete costume department.
Thanks. I have no problem when I agree on a topic of discussion. My heart truly ached for mUrphy. I am sure, once the dust settles, and He realizes Tucker had nothign to do with her collapse, things will change. MURPHY is like a Breath of fresh air!
As far as the "lie" goes.. well, he was placed, BY THE FBI, into a witness protection sysytem, so, sad as that is, that is how it is in life. Happens every day. People who are involved in bad things ( by choice or by chance) and get placed in witness protection, have to say goodbye to all they have known, and start all over. Have seen it many times. While I dont always agree with the way things on this show played out, they did do that part right. I just dont, and wont agree with the aspect of just bringing the character back in the form of another actor. J. Driscoll did NOT have to leave. He COULD have been placed into protection until the issues resolved. Yea I know, Christine said bad people all over the world. Happens all the time. Whats an injustice to all involved is the bringing the character back in a new actor. THAT is my only issue in this. It did not need to be a new actor, that we have to invest in all over again. In the real world, people who are placed in witness protection dont get a full body make over. Hell.. if THAT is the case.. SIGN ME UP FOR WITNESS PROTECTION LAST WEEK already!
Regarding bows & Nikki, I second the motion -- no more! Nikki's hair is toooo severe. She needs some fluff & maybe a few curls. Of course, Melody is always superb no matter what hairdo and/or outfit! Heartbreaking that alcohol is rearing its ugly head. And wow -- she plays it to the hilt and always blows me away!

I don't think they had any right to keep Tucker away from her the way they did. And as for her not asking for him, did you see the number of people in the room, who would have time to think with everyone hovering like that.I think they just may regret treating Tucker that way and Kay will bear the brunt of it.
