Like I've said before....they always do this to Jackson and it's getting ready old and tiresome. I think they should have brought Mary Smythe back for Jackson. This would tick Erica off and turn her attention toward Jackson. It's time for Erica to sit on the sidelines and play second fiddle to Jackson. I'm tired of Jackson chasing around Erica, like some lost puppy dog. He's a handsome, charming attorney. Jackson should have plenty of women interested in him. BRING MARY BACK!! I'm sure she would be more than happy to take Jackson off of Erica's hands.

I don't know why they have to always jerk around with Jackson. Is it that hard to write an interesting storyline with a couple that isn't about breaking up? I just don't see Michael Nouri as a romantic lead. Where's Michael Nader these days? Domitri could come back!

I guess I'm in a minority of one when I say I'm glad Michael Nouri is coming to AMC. I used to love Jack and Erica until they decided to make Jack Greenlee's father. Ever since, he's become a hypocrite. Everyone must do the right thing by Greenlee but she doesn't.He aided and abetted her when she kidnapped and maimed Spike something for which she never paid. Greenlee demands that Jack must choose her over Erica every time. Greenlee is almost forty. How many forty year olds demand that of a parent? Only the spoiled, manipulative, hateful and spiteful Greenlee. This is why Jerica will never work. Because it is decreed, probably by Frons, that Greenlee must win at all times. Pine Valley was a nicer, happier place while Greenlee was dead. She should have stayed that way.AMC doesn't have a leading man since Thorsten Kaye left. No one on the canvas now qualifies. Michael Nouri does and I hope he and Susan Lucci light up the place. I hope this puts Susan Lucci back as the leading lady of AMC because Rebecca Budig as Greenlee sure isn't .

And I guess it's just me, but why does Erica always ask Jackson to choose her & her family before Jackson's own daughter. She may be an adult, but I think once someone is your child, they are always your child. To me, Erica needs to do some much growing up herself. Besides, Erica has been playing this game of "I don't want you, but I don't want anyone else to have you" with Jackson since forever. That's why I think they should bring Mary Smythe back, to tick off Erica, if anything else. She should chase after Jackson, for a change.

Erica is the most famous character in soap operas EVER!!! Like you, I agree, she is and always will be the LEADING LADY of AMC. But sometimes I think she would be better served if she started acting more her age. Erica has come a long way in 40 years, but there is still so much growing to do. Hell, I don't even think the costume designers do her great justice because she dresses age inappropriately. But I do and always will love her and she is the reason i started watching with my mom when she was married to Tom. I think that Jack is THE love of her life, but for some unknown reason, the writers refuse to put them together and let them be happy for 2 minutes. I am like you. They continue to always put a third party between them and it is always a man. But I find the dynamic much more interesting when Jack is involved with a woman because it forces Erica to see things differently and she then reacts differently. It is not about her and that is when things are interesting. People may not remember this, but when Erica first realized that she wanted to be with Jackson, she started to pursue him full throttle at the expense of her marriage to Travis. Jackson changed and evolved as a result of his love for Erica where as she pretty much stayed stuck in a time warp. She broke up with him when he wouldn't lie for her during her custody battle with Travis over Bianca and they have been doing the same old song and dance ever since. That is why if they were going to give anyone a love interest, it should have been Jack, so that they could make Erica chase him all over again. I may be wrong, but I think there is a reason the writers have Krystle coming into Jack's orbit. Because I sensed something in those scenes, and if it is what I think it is, I hope the writers bring it and don't back down from it. As far as what the post before said...I can see why Greenlee would want her father to stay away from Erica...pull out your history book and see how many times Erica has stomped on Jackson's neck with her pumps. The dynamic of Jackson & Erica ALWAYS works best when Jackson is involved with another woman. Right now, that woman is Greenlee....Having another woman involved works best because Erica goes into full DIVA mode and fights dirty to get the man's attention. That's why I think they should bring Mary Smythe back. They did have a love affair when they were young, and she does still love Jackson, so why not? Yeah, but the thing that AMC needs to realize is that the Vets carry soaps. We don't want AMC to turn into Passions or Sunset Beach...this show should stay Vet heavy with a few young newbies floating around here and there. That's why Y&R kicks azz, because they realize that you have to rely on the vets to carry the show. There are plenty of actresses that they can bring on to keep Erica entertained....a triplet sister of Natalie & Janet that we didn't know about, Mary Smithe, they could keep Brooke around, let's not forget about how much Erica hates Barbara Montgomery, and it's too bad that we lost Maria to CSI because she and Erica hated each other too. All they have to do is pull out the history books and they can easily find an age appropriate female lead to play against Erica.

I always loved watching Susan Lucci and Genie Francis go at it. (Which makes you think, does Erica get along with any women?! Sheesh!)

Heck, why not grabbed the awesome Kim Zimmer and create a character for her? She could be a strong love interest for Jackson and keep Erica on her toes! CBS is going to get her soon. ABC seems to be all too willing to let CBS load their decks with talented actors.

I agree with the last couple of posts....AMC/ABC needs to start taking notice of what CBS is doing. They are snatching up all the great talent of ABC soaps that aren't being utilized. Which is why Y&R and B&B stay on top....Y&R has been taking talent from AMC since forever....They've got Cliff, Mia, Maggie, Bianca and Richie. And they utilize the heck out of them. Maybe they should turn their tv's to CBS and take a few notes. Using vets and the characters closely related to vets is the way to run a soap...

Pushing her back to the maturity level of a spoiled teenage girl, just so she can play along with Greenlee is a complete total waste to the talents of SL.And you're so right about the wardrobe decisions for the cast. I don't know what the hell they are putting on Greenlee, but let's just say, it's not a good look.If they would spend less time focusing the show on Fusion, and more time developing character driven stories, they could actually have a good show. Lord knows they have the talent, they just aren't utilizing it.
