I am a huge Maurice fan! Sonny is a role that they could never recast. I'm not totally convinced that he will actually leave - I guess we'll have to wait and see, but I sure hope he doesn't choose to leave.

I don't know where Jasam saw this, but the cover of "ABC Soaps" had a headline similiar. I didn't see the article, but you know how some of these mags put a hook on the cover and the story ends up being really benign. I wouldn't put much stock in it. SOD would have the story if it was really going to happen.

I am not a huge fan of the Mob storyline but would hate to see Maurice go. But maybe that is why they are trying so hard to bring back Vanessa (Brenda) so they can leave together.

Doesn't one of our magazines have the "SHOCKING GH EXIT!" cover at least once every few weeks? LOL.We're keeping an eye on the contract renewal situation and if Maurice Benard does actually leave, you'll definitely hear about it in SOD or WEEKLY.

The mob has taken over Port Charles and General Hospital. Personally, I'd be happy to see fewer mobsters and more hospital storylines. If Maurice wants to leave for greener pastures, I say good luck.
