LOL, I totally agree. I don't see romantic chemistry between them at all. They're so chilidish it's more like a brother/sister relationship. I like it much more when they're enemies at each other's throats. I can't stand how people say they're in a 14 year romance when they hated each other for about 12 of those years! I hope we've seen the end of Lumi for good.

I don't hate Sami or Lucas individually, but I've never believed they made a good couple.If the writers haven't convinced me of that in fourteen years before EJ, I don't see how they can do it now that Ej is in the mix.

IA, I could stomach Lucas if he wasn't always involved with Sami's s/l's. When he is he turns into a screaming, temper tantrum throwing child and its a turnoff.I love Sami but not the pod Sami HS made her into while he was the HW. Those of us who watched Sami from the beginning know what the real Sami is like and that was not it.Its okay to grow up but they completely changed her personality to fit into their version of Lumi.This couple fight, hate, and seek revenge on each other. On occasion they think they love each other but its always forced IMO.

I started watching this soap when I was 10 and have never liked the character of Lucas and have always extremely loathed the couple known as Lumi. They are so boring, I would rather watch paint dry and their love scenes are barf worthy. I FF whenever they are on screen and don't pay any attention to them. I was never a Lucas or Lumi fan, I have always supported Sami and have wanted her to be happy. Lucas was never Sami's first choice and she was never his. Austin was the true love of her life and then it was Brandon. She is settling being with Lucas. She could do so much better than him. Lumi have no love, no trust, no faith and zero chemistry. All they ever do is fight and all Lucas does is berate and humiliate her. Her orders her around and treats her like she is his posession. He has never accepted her as she is and has made her turn herself into a boring, stepford wife, basically Carrie 2.0. That is not why I fell in love with Sami Brady and I don't want her to be a Carrie clone. They are like brother and sister. If after 14 years, they still can't make it work, it's time to throw in the towel and move on already. Sami deserves someone who loves and accepts her for who and what she is and that man is Ej.

The reasons I hate Lucas & Sami!1. Sami can't be herself with Lucas. She is always scared he is going to leave her if she makes a mistake.2. They bring out the worst in each other.3. They don't trust each other.4. They repeatedly told other people they loved them and then would fall back together because there was no one else avail.5. They are a snore.6. Lucas always took his mother's side over Sami's everytime.7. Lucas publically humiliated Sami over and over.8. I think they were forced on us, more people enjoy Ejami now. Hopefully, Higley gets a clue about that.

UH let's see...Lumi is BORING! There is no true passion or sparks. Who wants to watch a couple like that? They flip-flop every 2 seconds with each other which is so annoying!And like the poster above me said, they don't trust each other. Well, at least Lucas never trusts anything that comes out of Sami's mouth! They're just plain irritating to me!

I totally agree with your list. They've never been right for each other and they never will be. Sami deserves someone who will love her unconditionally, for who she is. And that person isn't Lucas.

Lumi is BORING with a capital B!!!! They are much better as enemies, I about had to gauge my eyes out with a fork when they have a love scene, I wouldn't even call it that...it's more horny teens on a couch. If it hasn't worked after 14 years give it a rest.

Thats right. They proved over the last year more then anything that Lumi does nothing for the show and their "green wedding" didn't help the ratings at all. It tanked.This couple belongs in the trash bin. There is nothing salvagable about them.

I heard the Lumi puke green wedding anniversary is coming up (sorry don't know what the date was) and there is still no confirmation BD is going to be back anytime soon.. LOLI think it would be classic if Lucas came back, found out the apt is empty since EJami has moved in with Marlena and goes there to find them very cozy together. hahahaha!!! [I do not like Lumi. In fact they are the worst couple I have ever seen. I hope when or if Lucas comes back he moves on to someone who he will not be screaming at alll the time.

I don't hate Lucas...But I really can not stand Lucas with Sami. They have no chemistry and their lovemaking scenes turn my stomach. Don't even get me started on the smacking noises when they kiss. It's just not right!

I mute my tv and use the cc and lumi still comes off as nothing but gross.

Lucas has always treated Sami badly, humiliated her at every chance and rarely takes her side on anything. This is love? I think not! She is always his consolation prize, when the woman he really wants isn't available. She is so desparate to have her family's approval, that she goes back to him and is just a shell of her former spirited self. Then EJ comes along and she comes to life. He accepts her, faults and all, and doesn't judge her. He is just like her. And he loves her so much, that he has turned against his father, risking everything so that she would maybe some day come to respect him a little for it. Sami needs to stop worrying about what people think and just go with her feelings. Her family will come around, they have already started to, and if they don't, $crew them!!

Had Lucas loved Sami he would have given her the benefit of the doubt when she was set up by Kate and Eugenia to be in bed with Brandon. Lucas knew his mother is wicked and could have done that.
