After years of watching Lucky veer further & further from what that child should have grown into, becoming more & more of a spineless, mealy-mouthed, wussy crybaby, we finally can say (& mean it), "The real Lucky is back!" I don't know whether TPTB at GH simply lacked faith in Greg Vaughan's acting skills or not, but while he was playing him, Lucky lost all resemblance to the smart, wiley, "think on your feet," kind of kid he was, who took people as they were, flaws & all. He had no one on a pedestal. Yes, he adored Liz, but he saw who she was clearly. He also knew how to act & adjust his behavior when the situation called for it.

I've been watching the slow transformation since his rose colored glasses were smashed & his naivete replaced with bitter scepticism about the world. Today, I saw proof in Lorenzo Spenci. He handled Kooky Karen perfectly both times he spoke to her. Loved it. I know he probably doesn't realize yet that Aidan is his, but wouldn't it be funny if he looked at Aidan when he was talking to Karen & the baby looks exactly like he did when he was born? It would be something that Helena didn't consider & would be a huge miscalculation. Liz's other 2 children supposedly look like their fathers so why couldn't Aidan? That plot twist would be fun, as opposed to the months of nonsense we'll have to sit through before he learns the truth.

As for a reconciliation between L & L, at this point, they might work if they do it gradually & the characters really do go to therapy & work their issues out. But, either way, let Lucky reunite with his son permanently.
