I am posting to show how mad I'm with GH right now for letting Claire Coffee go. I loved her character. I am made they brought NL back and are getting rid of the character of Nadine. Nadine was so good for Nikolas. She brought out the best in him and actually made him interesting. I hate they are bringing NL back just to automatically put her with TC. The writers have no creativity at all. As soon as they knew NL was coming back they were giving NIk and Nadine lousey S/l and material. I feel bad for CC because I thought she brought a great interesting character to a show full of so many boring uninteresting characters. I wish CC the best but I hope they bring the character of Nadine back in the future when NIkolas is ready for an actual relationship. I do feel bad for TC that he can only work with one actress and that he is going to lose a lot of viewers because there are a lot of Nikadine fans out there and he is going to look like a total jerk and I will lose all respect for his character. Plus the fact this Rebecca storyline is stupid and I don't think that they haven't worked well together for a long time and the actors need to be paired with other actors.
I tend to agree! She was fantastic as the lunatic sister on GHNS...I forget the character name off the top of my head.

She is a fine actor & maybe wasn't used well, but I felt cold watching her with Nick. That was a bad set up. Maybe with some other guy but not Nick.
Well, I was hoping they would keep her around and make her into a kindof modern day Amy Vining! Now that could have been fun. Has she left yet? I have not watched all week this week, and may not at this point go back, even though I have watched it for 30 yrs or so, never fail. Just getting weary of it all.

I remember how much I enjoyed her during the Black & White Ball in October/November of 2007. I thought she and Spinelli could really work as a pairing. With Nikolas she was always going to look like an Emily replacement/wannabe.
ITA and many mistakes were made IMO.I think they brought her into a sweeps event WdUDie4 and I couldn't understand a newbie riding in on a sweep in front of players that had been benched eg Lainey/Kelly etc. I think putting her with Nik was a huge mistake, she should have stayed with the Matt storyline..Since Claire is a comedienne from my neck of the woods I liked the sketch comedy integrated into her character. I think she could have been viable but putting her w/Nik then dumping her when NL Rebecca came was unfair. Its all lin the writing she could have worked, but she has to be "written" to work.
I guess I am in the minority here and didn't really like Nadine at all. I thought she was an aimlessly wandering, mumbling idiot on the show - probably the writers' fault and not the actress'. She would have been much better paired with Matt. A relationship there would have been a little more believable than Nikolas. I didn't see her working out longterm.
Lucky is another one that should go IMO. Every word out of his mouth seems forced and fake. I yawn when he comes on screen.
But, hey, that's just me.
I had a hard time getting used to Greg Vaughn as lucky b/c I really liked Jackson as Lucky, but Vaughn has grown on me and I think he's done an excellent job. I don't think it's his acting, but more the way his character is written.
I think so too. He's too whiny. It's hard to believe he & Lulu are Luke & Laura's kids. Where did all this whining come from? It's irritating. I'd like to see Lucky go back to being more like he was when Jonathan played him. It's like the second he became a cop, the character flopped on his face. The old Lucky with a badge might've made a difference. He might have solved something once in a while & known what crimes to punish & which to look the other way on.

I have to say that I don't see her dismissal of her as a bad thing FOR CLAIRE. GH made horrible use of her talents. I saw her recently on an episode of CSI MIAMI and she was SO much better on that show than she had been allowed to be on GH. I don't know why the wasted her in a bad storyline but I honestly think that for her, on a career level, this will be better for her. Good Luck to her!!!!
